Hey is there a way to use "Stream Labels" from textfile? I've got the problem if I switch scene that you see thats still loading 1-2 seconds

Text files defeats the purpose of having the overlays being cloudbased.

That being said, you can right click the browser source -> copy -> switch scene -> paste as reference

this will keep the source active

so remove the duplicate one that lods in 2-3 seconds after the switch

You can use custom fonts via the custom font option. Make sure you have the exact font name as in Windows or OBS will fail to display it

Depends on the platform. Minimal delay is always a thing, most platforms have delay settings. Selecting the correct ingest server also reduces delay

hiya, i have a question that hopefully someone can help me out with! i started using obs.live today, streaming from my macbook air while i play on an asus rog strix. everything worked pretty good except for three things i'm struggling with and don't know how to fix, if anyone could help me out i'd be so grateful! the biggest issue: no one could hear the game, but they could hear me. i have a capture card, they could see the game, everything like that, they just couldn't hear it. two; the game is a bit darker than it actually is on my screen, there may not be a way to fix that but if there is that'd be awesome. finally, the last problem was that it was just a bit...low quality, how do i make it look crisper? sorry for the loooong post

Perhaps I could ask for some help, with my OBS, when I try to add more than 2 video capture sources, I get no video from the 3rd onwards. I have 4 cameras and all of them work if I keep it to max 2 video capture sources but if there are already 2 sources and I try to add another, I don't even see the video preview in the properties menu. My computers built-in cam is no exception, if I try to add this 3rd, even this won't show video.

I have already tried the deactivate when not showing option, changing around USB ports, deleteing and including the multi hub. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled OBS.

All 4 cameras work perfect at the same time with OBS on my other (less powerful) laptop, I don't understand this atall.

Any help will be really really appreciated, this is keeping me awake at night! 😖

I am in need of assistance, OBS is picking up audio like normal however I cannot hear anything on my end. I have been streaming for months now & have never had this problem. Just out of nowhere unfortunately. The devices I want monitored are set to "Monitor and Output" like they should be. However I am still not getting any audio to come through the Monitoring. not sure what you're referring to but you can add alert assets to the item itself, and this will appear as the redemption alert

The first one is the redemption alert I made that's fine but then the second one is the original I created that had its sizing overwritten by the new one. The second one is suppose to stretch fully across the screen and not have any text included.

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

I am having a lot of issues with Streamelements lately. Raids and gift subs do not show up in recent events, or in the alerts. I have tripled checked my overlays to make sure its not on my end.

Today i also tried to create a subscriber goal, but it displays my subscribers at 11 despite it being 3 right now. 11 is probably the total amount of subs i have had.

more likely do you have OBS Studio with the plugin obs.live installed 😅 there is no such thing as StreamElements OBS live.

That being said we have some steps that you can follow but it will require that you restart OBS

Hi Gang - I'm messaging because i'm having a bit of an issue with Media request that I cant seem to fix. Whenever I endeavour to use either Ground Control OR the OBSLive dock, the media centre displays as a blank screen. I can still access Media Request from the SE Website, however this doesnt allow me to control the audio in the way that going directly through OBS does.

• I have attempted to use both OBSLive and Ground Control to no avail.
• This has worked in the past without trouble, but i havent used the system in a while.
• I have reinstalled both OBS and Ground Control to no difference. as well as performed basic troubleshooting (pc reboots, run as administrator etc)
• Ive searched online for resolutions but there has been very little information I could find here.

Am I missing something pretty simple here? Any help would be amazing.

Let's first home in on the problem. Try to disable one thing - start with the stinger. If that doesn't change the behavior, bring it back and disable one of the sources in the scene. Go one by one like this until you don't experience the issue any more.

you can press start > type in 'appwiz.cpl' > this will open up the add\remove programs window > look for OBS.Live > right click > uninstall
make sure OBS is closed while doing that

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

So the thing is i have all browser on 0-2% CPU when they are not used. Like when i use 'stream starts' scene whene is only 1 source with obs-browser-page it instantly climbs up to 20% +, changing scene to next one like ''BRB'' where is also 1 source with obs-browser-page the source that i used before goes down to 0-2 and the obs-browser page that i use in BRB climbs up to 20%.

So the obs is starting to lag when its in background

Hello. I had a custom bot set-up within OBS and it stopped functioning over the weekend. I tried re-adding it via the "Connect Custom Bot Account" under activity feed. hi , ive set up and linked my youtube account to streamelements and obs.live . the problem im having is my newest subscriber isnt updating it just remains blank. i did a 4 hour stream today started with 191 subs and ended with 194 i got all 3 sub notifications on youtube app. but stream overlay just remains the same. i also have a chat overlay and it works great always staying current. when i go and test a widget from streamelements website it shows the sub alert & updates the overlay to the fake sub. is there something im missing?

For simple things that are not widgets - i would recommend doing this locally in OBS and edit the video files to have the desired effects and transparency etc.

I noticed that when I got raided the other night the alert sound was delayed by at least 30 seconds or more (and the image showed up a few secs after that) than when I saw the message in my chat that I was raided. I already removed every browser asset I had to try and find the culprit, no success.
The only way I got that browser-page to offload was when I logged off from twitch.
Then, just by clicking on the login page, without even entering username/password, it shoots back up to 22%.
Really looks like a bug.
I'm gonna try a clean reinstall.

Nope, definetly a bug.
Uninstalled OBS along with every user setting, uninstalled OBS.Live.
Downloaded and installed latest versions of both.
Same thing happens, as soon as I click on the log in page, that browser-page shoots up to 20%-22% CPU usage, and stays there even after log in.

I'm just gonna use raw OBS for the time being

It's still very odd tho, no browser sources and it was doing that.
Also, I had that option enabled for the longest time, with a bunch of different sources, and it never went above 5-10%.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

You are essentially making your headset as an audio source for OBS Studio

so if something is playing into your headset it might get doubled in OBS

i either hear an echo in my headset. or i hear it in my headset and my desktop speakers... there's no in between its one or the other.

Here is my suggestion on the matter:

• Remove the mic and headset audio source and test the follower alert. If it doesn't echo anymore, then go to the OBS settings -> audio -> set your stuff like this:

• If the above doesn't help, then remove all alert overlays from us from all scenes -> add the alert overlay to 1 scene -> right click the source -> copy -> switch to the other scene -> right click in sources window -> paste as reference -> test

if echo is gone then we've fixed it

The only way you can get sound from both your headphones and speakers is by having your default windows sound output going towards your speakers and since you've added your headphones as a source, that might also cause an echo issue and can play alerts and sounds from both devices

Granted I aim not well versed in audio settings and seeing the microphone and headset added as sources in OBS instead of being placed in the settings as they should be, looks weird and doesn't make sense that it should be setup like that

granted thats my opinion and the only solutions to the echo issue are the 2 i listed above that come to mind

OBS doesn't recognize Rainbow Six: Siege anymore after installing OBS.Live, I just have a black screen.
I tried restarting the PC multiple times, reinstalled OBS Studio and OBS.Live but it only works without OBS.Live.
Yes I have the Anti-Cheat compatibility on and I have it on fullscreen and the source is visible and I tried windowed mode and I tried targeting the Application directly.
Whole Monitor Capture works fine but any kind of game Capture does not work for R6S. I didn't try other games yet, if requested I can try testing other Games.
Overlay is working but even without it I still have the black screen.

2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

There is a "obs-streamelements-setup" windows process that is started for half a second but it closes itself out.

Quick and easy question for you all. Is OBS.live for Mac a fork of OBS? Cause now I seem to have two parallel installs. One is OBS.live which claims to be version 26.1.2 and I have the latest version 27 RC which I installed from GitHub. I just see it referred to as a plugin everywhere.

Issue: Installer will not open
I have attempted with and without OBS-Studio current and 25.0.8 installed. Have attempted multiple downloads of "obs-streamelements-setup-latest" and "obs-streamelements-setup" . I have disabled all Windows and other software protections. I have started computer in Safe Mode and attempted all installers. This is a fresh Windows 10 installation with only Brave web browser and steam installed.
Behavior: I am unable to get the installer to open at all. I give windows admin privileges for the installer, then it just does not load a window for the installer.
