Maybe check if your paypal email is verified or other things. Login to your paypal account and see what needs to be resolved to lift the restriction.

Just downloaded OBS.LIve on my mac. Everything from OBS imported great into OBS.Live, but the overlays don't work properly yet they work just fine in OBS Studio. Also when I go to the site and look at imported scenes they are all blank. (posted last night but never got an answer)

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible. https://youtu.be/KDvLynUqXI4

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

5) Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6) Navigate to the Console tab
7) Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8) Try setting the custom bot name
9) Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties."

Hey :)! So I'm pretty new to the whole streaming stuff and i startet to build overlays with streamelements and bound the into my OBS Studio as a browser source. The Ovleray for the cam works fine, as well as the new subscriber and new follow overlay with the name of the latest ones. But the alerts dont get triggered when i have a new follower. I added a alertbox, modified the videos, sounds and font. When i test it with the testbutton in the overlay editor, i see the alert in my OBS as well as in my livestream. But if somebody follows me, those alerts wont get triggered!? Do i need to enable something or anything else?

Hello, I changed the PayPal account on the tipping settings page, and the tipping/donation alerts stopped working on my stream. One of the viewers noticed and asked about it. The emulation works, but actual tips did not set off the alert. What can I do to fix this?

Hello, I've been experiencing trouble using OBS.live my past 5 streams or so. The alert box is hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. I've refreshed the cache on the browser source properties from OBS, I refresh the alert from my feed in order to play the alert when it doesn't go through. I have disconnected and reconnected my twitch account with OBS.live and streamelements dashboard online multiple times now. I have edited and saved the browser source to try and fix it as well, and its still sometimes just not going off. The activity feed is a little slow to catch up and I believe the chatbot has missed some activity notifications recently as well. I have even tried reinstalling obs AND the OBS live extension. I am not sure what else to do so any help would really be appreciated!

It’s my basic “all overlay items” one used as a browser source. I didn’t notice this issue until I started making another one for emote/Kapp when (I’ve since deleted it). I’m sure there’s something I’m overlooking just can’t tell what it is.

2) In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3) Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4) Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5) Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6) Navigate to the Console tab
7) Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8) Try setting the custom bot name
9) Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties."

Did you uninstall OBS Studio before uninstalling OBS.Live? OBS.Live is highly dependent on there being an installation of OBS Studio. If you uninstalled Studio first, it'll give you issues.

Just wanted to let everyone know, especially the mods, when changing the Messages via Bot modules ( the only one as far as I know) you will need to refresh the page to save! DO NOT RELY on the the save image that pops up in the upper right hand corner and says, "Saving, then Saved". It's not saving. Instead I have to reload the web page itself and then it saves. Issues with the site?

Custom Fonts

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Click on Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

hi all, having some issues setting up my raid alert (not sure whether to put this in twitch or obs live helpdesk). i am pretty new to all this so sorry if i have missed something obvious.

so what i want is when someone raids me on twitch i want to play a full screen video with sound that is about 10 seconds long, and have the raid alert "username has raided with 10 viewers" come up covering the whole screen. it seems i have 3 options but i am struggling to get them to work and have no idea which is best.

1. create a new scene in obs with the media source in, and manually change to the scene when i see a raid come in.
2. add the media source to my main scenes and trigger it when a raid comes in
3. incorporate the video into the actual alert

1 & 2 - the video bit is easy, but i am still struggling with getting it to sidechain the desktop audio completely so i don't have a soundclash
3 - the filesize of the video is too big to upload to the overlay maker on streamelements (i could reduce it down but i'd like to avoid it if it can, but i also know that having it stored locally and not online may be better for the stream)

a big problem i am having with all options though is in the streamelements overlay maker, getting the raid text to fill the screen and go over the top of either the bg vid i upload or no image. underneath or to the side works fine but "text over image" there is no text at all.

@novel yoke Text not showing up over your alerts? Go to the Advanced Text Settings and set the top margin to 50, you can work your way to the right position from there.

As for the video, I would recommend not uploading a 1920x1080 video as it might stutter when loaded in the overlay

The usual fix for it is to log out in the "stream" settings, log back in with twitch and enable the dock.

Hi everyone! I keep getting bitrate drops for a couple days now where OBS disconnects for a couple seconds and reconnects shortly after. In between the bitrate is usually pretty stable. I already checked if it was an issue with my ISP or router but can rule out these as the source of the issues.

if you have a VPN for testing, that might help - this changes the routing to the server.

copy the link to the overlay you want and insert it into a browser source url section; browser sources can be created in 'sources' on the obs studio app. You can always change a browser source's url by clicking on the browser and then 'properties'

Howdy y'all, I just finished streaming Mario Kart, and I got a host notification(which was the first thing ever to appear in my activity feed lol) when I replayed the notification(after I made one, I wasn't expecting a host) it actually showed up! But when I got a follower, it didn't show up in the activity feed nor did the stream alert go off, unlike the host alert. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be? Thanks so much! :)

Is there a green light/yellow/red indicator when im streaming to show whether stream is having problems or not

is it by the bitrate level? In the bottom right? If so then it was green the entire time :)

and if frames drop bad then it turns yellow or red

Is their a widget similar to 'media share' on streamelements, but for non-twitch streamers. Or better yet, why can't 'media share' be accessible for streaming on YouTube as well.

basically here's the issue: ever since updating to the newest version of StreamElements OBSLive the recorded footage takes 2x or more longer to export from Premiere Pro.

but Premiere Pro exports other videos at the same speed it used to. only videos that take longer are videos recorded with SEOBSLive

that's pretty weird isnt it? i know right!

so like, any idea why that's happening?

or if you can't help, please at least let me know that you can't help and i'll try somewhere else

@hard pilot If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have OBS.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

If you mean streaming to both at the same time, we unfortunately, do note have restreaming support.

OBS.Live only supports 1 logged in account at the same time

You can still restream with restream.io though

Most likely you have a file that you've added as a source and its exceeding the backup size limit of 100mb

i'm using italian version of obs.live, so maybe the traduction of something is incorrect, but I'm no longer able to enter the "live information" panel

@vagrant bough this has happened to a few people recently. There are 2 options you can try - log out in the Settings > Stream (if you have Twitch connected there instead of using a stream key) and log out in the top menu - StreamElements - logout

And then log back in for both.

Missing that dock just means there is missing a connection to Twitch. This is a basic OBS function, no settings for it, can't do much else.

my stream sound is lagging, often when i switch scenes. someone said it was because of my transition but i removed the one i got from and just have normal obs transition....

this didnt help and i have to close my goxlr app, disconnect my goxlr and hope it works when i start it up again.
i need help fixing this, i have NO idea whats doing it but its driving me insane, especially when NOBODY wants to help.....
