in your preview or on your stream? Are you running OBS.live as administrator, if not, right click on the shortcut and run as admin. See if that fixes the problem

hmm so i am still having issues with my streamelements not seeing ALL of my followers. I also think the number may be stuck on one number. does anyone know how to reparse the info from my facebook profile to streamelements so that it sees the correct number?

Thanks, So i just created a Goal for follwoers and somehow its now only two off from the correct number. I have no idea why the information is different then the actual. IS there no way for streamelements in the back to have a call to the facebook API that allows a refresh and update based on the number it reflects instead of the tracker from OBS? it would be more beneficial in my honest opinion.

Evening team. I'm still having abrupt crashing when I use x264 encoder. It did it again last night within about 5 to 10 mins of starting stream. I would love to provide a crash report but it didn't log on. I don't know why it didn't. My last crash report is from December 7th, the last "last" time I had x264 crashing.

I continued streaming using Nvenc without issues.

Is there a bug list of known issues with x264 that I can look at?

@charred lava If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Making a widget to show my current followers and after I completed it I took the link and put it in OBS but nothing is showing up... • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

Okay I want to apologize for not understanding. I understand how it works now and it's pretty cool. But now one more issue and hopefully the last one for tonight... So I made a follower goal however. In the goal it shows I have 0 followers when I know that's not the case. It shows the goal amount but not the follower amount.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

I knew it...when i switch over to streamelements I knew that over time, I would indirectly ruin streamelements into poor shoddy quality-ness that streamlabs will overtake them finally becoz if i stick with streamlabs, streamelements would always beat stream labs. Today I can finally say it has, and that was my plan all along. Wondering what im talking about? 3rd - have you confirmed these issues happen on OBS Studio as well (without the .Live plugin)?
I'm not sure overlays as a whole should affected by audio changes on your system [audio on OBS might be], but if you explain the actual issue we might be able to assist.

Need assistance. Follow Alert Box as well as Latest Follower does not work. I even loaded the free layout forcefield and it doesn't work. @stuck mortar If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

Hey folks, so I have a couple questions and was wondering if anyone here has tried this. Firstly, I use Restream to stream to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously but I can't get alerts from both at the same time due to only being able to be signed in to one at a time. That being said I've seen that you can run 2 instances of OBS at the same time and was wondering if I can have one instance signed in to Facebook and the other instance signed in to YouTube so I can get notifications/alerts from both simultaneously

@untold rapids we dont have restreaming support, so you can only get the activity feed to show you one type of events. That being said you can pop out the activity feed from the website for the other account ams track events of both accounts that way.
I would not recomment using 2 instances of obs for this

Here is a suggestion, if you can get your hands on a ryzen 5 or 7 that is 3500 or 3700x(I have a ryzen 7 3700x and a 1060 GTX 6GB) and only a new mobo with new ram sticks, that should be like a budget option for an upgrade

and i can assure you that you will get better performance overall playing games and streaming

no need to use the old PC as a streaming PC, as that will have to involve getting a new GPU as well, but the 1050 Ti should be plenty for at least 1 or 2 more years of usage

But this is getting into the realm of just generally talking about PC upgrades and should be moved to #general-chat

When I make a theme on streamelements website only a part of it shows up when I enter it as a browser source in OBS studios. How can I make it all show and make it centered?

@left vector Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

The thing you want to do seems like a design/animation thing, which is something we can't help unfortunately.
The overlays do have animation settings, but they only affect specific widgets. The thing you want is something to be made in After Affects for example.

Ah youtuber. Currently there is an issue with the subscriber API, where the events are delayed for up to 4 hours, but if you don't see anything then you won't see them. We are looking into this, but no ETA on a fix.

There currently is an issue on youtube's end with alerts not coming our way. You need to wait for them to fix it as it's outside of our control.

The problem is not with the Alert itself because if the Activity-Feed worked probably it will work. And I've tested that myself when I replayed the past events the alert would work while if any of the new subscribers come they don't appear on the Activity-Feed as a result the Alerts don't work.

For the subscriber alerts, check what I just posted. For the donation alerts: Have they used the StreamElements tipping link? Have they donated via PayPal?

Fine with the subscribers. For The donation, yes they use the link and via PayPal.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

I'm not sure If I should put this in here or the OBS community but I'm having an issue with an alert pack not centering in OBS after linking the browser from Stream Elements.
Within the Overlay Editor in Stream Elements I have tried resizing and centering, etc. but the alerts are consistently off screen when I emulate to OBS. Has anyone experience this? The alert pack is the Pixel Pop alerts from Nerd or Die.

So I'm having a problem with my loyalty redemptions. I recently added a bunch of sound clips in my stream store in SE, when I click the preview they work just fine, but when I test a redemption with a custom command in the obs it doesn't play. The redemption also doesn't show in the redemption history page. How can I make it to where I hear when my chat redeems store sounds while I'm live? everything else work in terms of merch, sub, follows, & tip alerts but no loyalty store redemptions play.

Reposting here since I noticed some people in this channel with similar issues: I was looking through my activity feed from a stream, and found that none of my follows are showing up in the activity feed, alert box, or stream labels. Subs, raids, hosts, and tips seem to be working though! Could anyone help me figure this out? Thank you! (and i checked that all the different types of activity are checked in filters, and testing alerts using the emulate feature works just fine!)

@forest goblet Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

I have a problem regarding the google woman's voice, I made a store in the streamelements and there, when I took the test, the sound effect (of horn, for example) that I put on, it comes out straight and the woman speaks in chrome. Then, in the OBS, only the sound effect of the horn goes off, and the woman from google doesn't say anything (even the "Enable text-to-speech" setting is activated and setting the "Monitor and Output" setting on Obs) ... Can anyone tell me what might be happening or help me with this?

So I streamed for 3 hours today. During that time, two people "followed" me. Neither one of them I heard in OBS. So audio / video popped up in stream and can be heard, but I can't hear it in OBS. In one scenario, I have it set as a separate browser capture, set at 100% volume, monitor/output on all channels . Works in Streamelements website when I tested it.

If the alert was normal on stream, but you personally did not hear it, then your overlays are playing to a different audio device than what you're listening through. You'll need to double check your audio settings in OBS, either in Settings>Audio, or perhaps the browser source's properties and whether or not "Control audio via OBS" is checked.

@violet coral Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hello, apologies if this is in the wrong channel but I have a questions about NVENC.

I guess I’ll just ask it. So I’ve been searching around for a while for an answer and it tends to have answers for everything but mine. I have a 2060S, R53600, 32gb DDR4 ram (3000mhz) and when I’m not streaming I have 150+FPS but when I do stream it falls to 70/100FPS (mostly falling in the lower end). I use NVENc with a base canvas of 1080 and a output of 936p and all the recommended settings for NVENc (6000 bitrate, lancose 32samples, etc). I have obs in Admin and the new windows gpu tool off (as it’s said that having both on affects things)

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hi, I'm having a problem with streamelements my commands are not working (!points, !gamble and many more) either my custom or normal commands do not seem to work now. They were working and recently stopped. I disconnected the bot and reconnecting nothing seems to work if anyone has any advice much appreciated!

hello! i am having issues with streamelements not showing alerts and stream activity from YT. Has anyone had this issues before? I have everything linked and set up, even when i do test alerts they pop up on streamelements but when people actually sub, nothing shows up. Thank you!

The only source URL it gives me is for the entire overlay, i have edited, saved and replaced the browser sources multiple times now

I am trying to get a step by step from SOMEONE to make sure I have my alerts even set right, 2 live streams and they havent worked, I have replaced the URL on my overlays multiple times, and it hasn't changed, and I have searched everywhere and the ONLY URL that i can find is for the entire overlay, there isn't separate ones for alerts

ah ok ya sadly your alerts are in your overlays as far as I know they don't have a differnt url, but what I think you could do is make a new overlay on my overlays page but don't put anything in it just only the alerts and get the url that is what I would do if I want not on my overlay

But whats weird is the emulate tests work just fine, and why wouldn't the live feed show the alert at all? That happened last night, someone cheered and the alert didnt show up on the live stream, i saw it pop on OBS but nobody else saw it

will on my overlays I have my alets set up on them and they work, but I have never had that problem unless I don't use my overlays
