It appears that the Twitter authentication process isn't working. So when I try to connect a twitter account to my dashboard for auto-posting when going live it shows the below page.

I experience this same issue on my Twitch dashboard (so it's both the YT and the Twitch one)

And this appears to also be on other services (like my IFTTT.com) so I was wondering if you guys are aware of anything wrong with Twitter service authentication?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

i hope got the right category, I wish to know if i can link my youtube and twitch to streamelements. I have streamlabs but with commands I don't know if all are working right. especially with watch time being counted right. I stream from my playstation . So i hope can use streamelements for both and have my twitch and youtube linked at the same time. I did find an option to add my channel to streamelements but it will say something like " account already claimed" I think i have to unlink it with streamlabs. Sorry if this gets confusing

Hi. Sadly no, only overlays can be imported from one channel to another (and still limited because different platforms with different tools). Chat commands have to be set up manually.

Most of this data is not available on YouTube and the chat commands are very limited. You can search for examples in #command-share (but most of them are for Twitch, so look for YT specific commands that are marked as such).

It's been stuck on the same person for at least the last week now, and I just got a new sub today; I thought there was a problem just with mercury is where I noticed, but it's everything that deals with streamelements.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

I'm trying to set up the kappagen overlay for my Youtube but there is no emotes to choose from for the explosions and when I emulate an event it uses my Twitch subscriber emotes and that's not what I want. Question: I had changed the name of my channel a bit ago and was hoping that would filter through to Stream Elements. However, I see it's still on the old brand name, which has been dead for a while.

The problem is, I don't want to turn on tipping or SE.merch until this is all changed as I don't want to confuse people who only know my channel from the new branding (which is half my subs).

Is there a way to change this in SE? Or am I pretty much up the creek and need to use other platforms for merch and tips?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hey, i have switched over from twitch to YouTube streaming. I am trying to figure out how to get my activity feed from stream elements onto my OBS for YouTube. Every time I put the activity feed link into my OBS custom docks and try to make it a dock it keeps pulling up my twitch activity feed and not my YouTube activity feed. I believe YT does not have a timeout function, this is a Twitch command that will not work on YT. Gotta be careful with command templates in #command-share etc. - most of those are designed purely for Twitch and will not work on YT.

Currently there is a known issue with going Live with SE.Live. Devs are aware of the issue.
The workaround for this is, to click on the "Live Video Settings" button in the chat dock and use the 2nd option from the pop up "Use these settings" to go live.

If you wanted just one response. This would make it so you could just do "!orb pancake" or "!orb @gusty gazelle" and the command would spit out the command with whatever followed after "!orb"

If you wanted variants and not just "was obliterated by the orbital cannon", that's a bit more complicated.

Variants as in you put "!orb @gusty gazelle" and it could send out one of many choices

For example:
"was obliterated by the orbital cannon" "was obliterated by the orbital cannon, but dodged" "was obliterated by the orbital cannon... or were they?"

Hello! I have a problem that I have been trying to fix before relying OBS Discord windows-support. Whenever I record Skyrim and drop at least 1-5 frames my whole recording will be stuttering. (60fps to 55fps)

The thing is on my main monitor my game shows no signs of lag (50 fps to 60 fps) But then looking at OBS it shows massive stuttering but its fine whenever I have 60 FPS. It just confuse me because I have seen other YouTubers that streams skyrim even if they drop to 30 fps or 40 fps their stream does not show any stuttering.

About the Critical: MP4/MOV I forgot to switch it back to MKV while doing the test for the logs.

For the Multiple Game Capture Warning I am not sure why it says that when the "scenes" in OBS that I am using has only Game Capture and [Audio Sources]

Some additional info: I locked my Skyrim's FPS to 60. But I have not changed my refresh rate to 60hz (144hz) not sure if this is important.

Hey all. I have a couple quick questions about things I'm stumped on. I'm working with a streamer with a large YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch following. We're looking to do a higher quality stream to all, so here was our plan:

• use OBS to ReStream out to all platforms
• use SE to show aggregated numbers onscreen (Total subscribers across all platforms)
• use SE to show aggregated chat onscreen (All chat across all platforms)
• use SE to show aggregated alerts across all platforms

At first, it seemed like SE did this, but now it seems like the overlays you make can only be used for one platform at a time. I suppose that we could make three overlays, one for each platform, and display all of them, but that seems overly busy and clunky.

Am I missing something obvious? Thank you very much for input.

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

I'm sure this is a common question but I just set up my overlay on SE for my YT channel and the Subscriber count is way off and the Subscriber goal is even more off

I know for twitch, when you go into "My Overlays" on the website, then "edit overlays", it takes you to a place where you get edit overlays, for whatever counter you're using, you click the top right computer icon with gears in it called "session data", HERE you can navigate to the "Goals" tab and adjust the Count AND the Goal!

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

You can only get sub alerts on YouTube if the subscriber has their subscriptions set to public. If they have their subscriptions set to private (which most people do) YouTube won't allow their sub to be seen - hence no alert.

Reset a few backend things that should take affect after this stream. Let us know if it doesn't work. But also keep in mind that due to how YouTube's API is, it can take 4 hours for subs to show up and even then some accounts are defaulted to hide subscriptions, preventing the alerts from happening.

overall, there is a delay with YT alerts. (Tho they shouldn't come in massive waves)

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Subscriber goals widget also uses a number which is much less than how many subscribers I have... However, sub count widget is correct. I would expect the sub goal widget to match sub count, and for the latest sub to show ... the latest sub.

So it's up to me to keep that where it needs to be based on what I want the goal to represent... I guess the next big question mark is latest sub showing no name after the label reset has occurred.. Is the only way to populate this by having someone actually sub again? It's confusing to me why it "froze" in the first place.

Both, on the StreamElements website, it shows no updates (I've also tested this by asking a friend to subscribe when I was live one time and it did not show up a notification or anything on the website). On OBS it is just emulating the nothing on StreamElements' website so that also doesn't work

Install OBS without letting it run after completion.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

Is this the website or in OBS? I had this issue with OBS it was still showing Twitch activity etc. if it’s the same problem open OBS > StreamElements tab at top > Log out > log in again. Fixed my problem.

Are you speaking about the stream data on the website's dashboard, or are you speaking about OBS/SE.Live?

If it's a SE.Live issue, you should direct that to #helpdesk-selive.

Eitherways, the process is the same for switching in OBS and on the Dashboard. In OBS, Go to StreamElements Menu at the top > Logout > Log back in "but choose YouTube instead if Twitch". If you also wish to stream on this account in OBS, Go to settings > Click stream > Choose the service you want > Either connect your account or enter your stream key. From there you should be able to stream with the right account and you should be able to bring up the right activity data.

If this is a dashboard issue, just Logout > Login "but choose YouTube instead of twitch". Simple. If the issue still continues, reach out to support in the right helpdesk as I told you before.

Go to StreamElements Menu at the top of OBS > Login with YouTube.

Then go to OBS settings > Go to the "Stream" category > Choose your service > Connect your account or stream key > Apply.

Lastly, go down to "Controls" at the bottom right of your screen > Choose your broadcast > Start your stream.

If you want to pull up you stream activity and chat, you can go back to the StreamElements menu at the top, click on "SE.Live Docks" and choose what you want to pull up..

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Hello. I've set up my alerts for YouTube. I've uploaded my images and sounds. When I emulate an alert on the Streamelements site, I can hear it. Obs shows the audio levels moving but the images aren't showing up. It's like this for subscriber event, tip event, super chat event etc. Could someone help me with this? Thank you.

On twitch it's been working fine I can see and hear them. On YouTube I can hear them but can't see them. Should I try muting different sources in obs? Just to see if that will work?

I tried muting different sources. It didn't work. I hit the account switcher button in Streamelements to go back to twitch, signed back into twitch in obs and my alerts are fine. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on the youtube side. Everything's the exact same settings.

2. make sure the browser source is at the top of the list to ensure that it's not blocked.

3. make sure you have the different sources for each overlay. Simply having 1 overlay from SE will not work for all overlays.

IE, your overlay from twitch will not swap to Youtube if you are signed in to your YT account

Similar issues here: chat isn't working unless I make a custom dock for chat in OBS (which you have to update the link every stream) and my activity feed/alerts aren't working. I've had 4 subscribers yesterday but had no alerts still. That was roughly 10-12hrs ago.

I saw in an old video that this would have something to do with the confidentiality of your subscribers' subscriptions. If they decide to "hide" their subscriptions then the alerts do not work. I went to see for myself and this feature is enabled by default on youtube.
But that this problem affects all subscribers over such a long period (I've had this problem for 4-5 months), it doesn't seem normal to me.

Youtube Can have a delay for subscribers that can be up to 4 hours. Donations sent via Se.pay should be instant, PayPal is a different story. SOmetimes it's instant, but can be delayed due to verification from the senders bank

If you're referring to the Chat in your Overlay for stream, It won't show up if you're not live. The bot won't show up if the stream isn't public or listed.

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Hello, my feed doesn't actualise my alerts (subscribers) on Youtube. I tried everything : log out, reset my feed, change my alert's URL...
My Youtube Channel receives my alerts directly but the connection between YT and OBS doesn't seem work.
I have this problem since two months : last time I was getting subscriptions once every 10, now nothing works and I don't have the alert animation nor can I thank my new subscribers.
(Edit : On Twitch i don't have this problem)

when starting a live stream to Youtube, everything works fine except for the chat feed. in the chat dock of stream elements obs it prompts me with chat will appear as soon as im live....so while i am live, the chat dock expired ans sayd it can not connect.....im just wondering is a chat not supported? i know of the popping out the chat frm youtube studio and adding as new dock to obs and C/P that popped out url to OBS dock, but wondering if the one thats integrated in stream elements is not working at the moment or ??????

Is there such an option as to enable alerts for super stickers and superchats? Superchats sometimes give an alert (but not everytime) but for superstickers I see no option. Isn't it actually there or I'm just blind? 😄

while in the overlay editor, go to Alertbox > Members > Variation Settings (at the bottom) and then you can add a re-sub alert

Did you get a "Channel already claimed" message?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

But then my youtube channel was hacked and ever since, they haven't been updating in the activity feed, and not showing up during live streams when i get a donation, sub, members, anything.

I contacted my youtube support contact and they said I need you guys to do a reconnect to the account on your end, as it may have been messed up when they recovered my account.
