There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

You can have more than one channel on one email, and then you're supposed to choose which channel you're logging in as when you log in.

Hi. The chat widget settings are identical for all platforms pretty much, so if you copy your font and color settings etc. from the twitch chat widget to YT chat widget, they should look identical

I've used stream elements for a little while now but I've just made the move from streaming on twitch to streaming on YouTube. I have everything set up but my alerts nor my activity feed seem to work for Youtube is this a common issue or something that is new and strange. I have 2 subs from october 13th but nothing since or before. I see videos where it fully populates so I'm not sure if I did something wrong? any help would be appreciated. picture to show what I mean.

This is all events I think. I'm not partnered on YouTube yet so this is currently only subscribers I have had the experience with. The account is old but I've only recently started streaming and uploading to the account so I've yet to get any further. I'm also having an issue with the activity feed plugin but I think its an OBS issue not streamelements.

I seem to be having an issue with OBS.live . When i click "Start Streaming" OBS will freeze up and i have to force close it. I am able to stream if i click "Manage Broadcast and start the stream that way but then it seems my (OBS.Live Docks) chat feed and activity feed won't work using this method. Hi, i get that my channel is already taken when tryingh to link a youtube account, i think this happen because i logged in with my youtube account earlier. Now i tried to close my youtube account (to be able to link it with my twitch login account as a youtube channel instead), However the Close My Account button/feature, doesn't do anything after i insert the needed data. Well in that case the closure request has been submitted and if it didn't kick you out, then manually its going to get processed by the devs.

the timing setting has nothing to do with the "totals" labels, as totals are meant for...well totals of all time

as for the widget it self - i can confirm that the total superchats label widget might not be working right now

I see there is data, but its not being pullsed, so I will report this to the devs

Hey, I've been looking online, and I couldn't find a solution. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. Basically, I signed in and connected to StreamElements with my Twitch account and my YouTube account. I wanted to add my YouTube account under my Twitch account, and now I can't do that, because I've already connected both to StreamElements. And now when I go into StreamElements (logged into Twitch account), and I try to add/connect my YouTube account, it says that the channel has already been claimed. Is there a way to fix this? I've been trying to find a way to disconnect my YouTube channel from StreamElements, so I can add it into StreamElements under my Twitch account this time. But I can't find a way to disconnect my YouTube channel from StreamElements

Also, I plan on moving all of my Twitch assets (overlays, alerts, etc.) from Twitch to YouTube, but it doesn't seem like there's a simple way to do it. Do I have to make them all from scratch again? Or is there a way of importing or transferring these things, so I don't have to make them all again?

essentially if the closure form was closed after you filled in all the details, it means the request was submitted and should be processed within 24-48 hours

I can merge channels for you but if a deletion request is pending, us merging will lead to a possible deletion of the accounts instead

I suggest give it that amount of time and if you're not seeing the account was deleted, reach out to us and ask for a merge, we'll instruct you further then

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

I'm not staff, but I've been streaming on YouTube for a year and I can explain that one - not all YouTube subs show up in the dashboard, both on StreamElements and Streamlabs, and that's because it depends on the subscriber's privacy settings on YouTube. You'll still have the correct number if you use any goal widgets, but their name won't show up in your activity because of their Google/YouTube privacy settings. • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

No not as a goal, as in the actual subscriber count. For Twitch it updates automatically when I get a new follower. For YT every time I get a new subscriber I have to do a manual update. NB. Noted that it will not ‘subtract’ followers/subscribers.

I have an issue with streamelements that the overlays (alerts/chatbox) won't work.
I have added them to OBS and when I test the alerts through the emulate option it works, but when I do test youtube streams my alerts and chat overlay won't recognize actual chat messages or subscribing with an alternate account (i don't know if resubscribing would even work tho).

I don't know if its unrelated but I also tried out installing streamelements OBS.Live.
In the activity feed some of my subs are showing up so i know its connected, but when I start the stream even the OBS.live Chat dock isn't showing my Chat, it just says: "Waiting for your stream to go live"

Unfortunately there's 2 reasons why this won't happen.

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

Question: I wanted to add a popout of my StreamElements Activity Feed to OBS Studio to keep track of when I get new subscribers, tips, etc. When I pop out the chat to get the URL and add it in my Custom Browser Docks, it defaults to being logged out and the only login option is Twitch. I cannot modify the message from the default commands, and !tip is one of them. I disabled it and created a custom !tip command, but it's still trigerring the default message. I even renamed the default !tip command to !fefd but it's still being triggered by !tip. Quite disappointed with this.

Hi, I tried signing up for a StreamElements account using my Google Account as a log in, specifically my Brand account for my YouTube channel and I ended up getting a Error 400: invalid_request error along with a bunch of other information for a dev.
Edit: Tried to link up my account in OBS Live and it gave me to same error. How else can I use StreamElements with YouTube if I can't sign in?

The subscriber alerts work if your incoming subscriber has public subscriptions on, it's on their decision to turn it on for it to work, they will still be listed in your recent events, just without an alert.

looks good but the chat box was freaking out the second i started a stream and the original chat box that comes with OBS worked fine instead. the activity window could probably do with a viewer counter also. I noticed that the second i opened a game i started dropping frames instantly so not sure if its eating up too much CPU? normal OBS never has an issue with that...

I didnt unfortunately. May try again in the future though as it looks good so far. Youtube on OBS is limited on barebones compared to Twitch so its a good plugin. Think it just eaten into CPU a little more for me which is probably my biggest issue

Tested OBS Live on a stream earlier and the chat dock was glitched out (actually flickering) and would not display chat when I went live. The OBS Studio chat dock would show chat, but also seemed a bit broken too? First time trying with a Youtube stream.

I have a problem with the platforms connected to my Streamelements.

When I connect to Streamelements I can do so by selecting between "Twitch", "YouTube", "Trovo" or "Facebook". If I select "Twitch" I log in perfectly and there I have my Twitch, Trovo and Facebook channels claimed. The YouTube one is not there because it is claimed from the "YouTube" access of the initial Get Started to be able to see it.

The problem I have is that all my channels are on the same side of the profile except YouTube, which is displayed in a different profile. I would like my YouTube channel to be on the same side of the account as the other claimed channels (all in the Streamelements access from Twitch), how can I unclaim the YouTube channel from the YouTube Streamelements access so I can claim it from the Twitch Streamelements access?

Important: The email address assigned to the Twitch login is the same as the email address assigned to the YouTube login. If I cancel the YouTube login account, will I also cancel the account that works correctly with Twitch, Trovo and Facebook?

There's technically a 5 minute internal timer in addition to the minutes you specify to trigger the timer and I'm thinking that may be the issue but without having commands to actually test against I'm sorta out of ideas.

I checked from our side, your tipping page is fully accessible. It seems to be something local preventing it from loading.
Check if other sections of your Dashboard are not loading. I advise testing with different browsers or check if something locally is blocking the connection (a browser extension of sorts or a security program).

Try using one of the default commands during the stream. If the bot doesn't respond during the stream then it can be worked from there. As you have no chat in stream there's not much to troubleshoot off of.
