Hi. The events should show up. In general YT has issues with alerts and delays, but that affects mostly subscribers and should not affect members and superchats

Interesting. Do you think it's because I just launched memberships? Streamed yesterday and got several memberships throughout the day, but none of them are showing up in the event list. I just checked and it's showing a new member that signed up a few minutes ago and it seems to have updated the goal. Maybe it'll work going forward?

Another thing I've noticed is that ground control (and the popout version of the event list when added to an OBS dock) disconnects/times out and it only gives me the option to log back in with Twitch. Is there an update that will add YouTube? The session time outs were never really a problem before since I could quickly log back in with Twitch, but now it's whole ordeal.

I was using OBS.Live previously and unfortunately it did still time out the session pretty regularly so I don't think OBS.Live would be the solution to this problem. Only downloaded ground control because my obs dock broke and wouldn't let me log back in. So if there's anything that can be done to add youtube connection to the event list I would be super thankful. And I think the number of folks migrating from Twitch to YouTube is gonna start ramping up significantly so it could become a regular issue.

You need to log out and log back in with YT to switch it

This screen grab is from Vanilla OBS though, which I think the majority of people will be using. So the issue isn't necessarily with OBS, but rather the way the event list behaves outside of the StreamElements website. And installing a different iteration of the software can be a steep ask especially for those of us with very intricate and finely tuned scenes and profiles. I won't take up any more of your time with this though. I hope it's taken into consideration and I thank you for your responses.

When I try to add the channel on the correct account, I get an error that "YouTube Channel Already Claimed." I'm not really sure it'll work. You can use a standalone version of OBS (portable version) to stream on YT (without OBS.Live)

I've tried that method before. As long as I'm not signed into my YT account on SE and use my Twitch instead, it works fine as you don't get that infinite loading screen. You're only stuck with Twitch notifications/chat in the meantime, but can just pull up the YT dashboard on my other screen to look at chat there.

The first is the privacy level set by the user. Private subs = no notification.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

• See if new members show up now (they have to be new events)

last I saw about it, could be due to a new account temporary restriction or something, but I haven't heard back from the user on that

and if it's restricted that's the response we will see during your login process into our website

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Hey guys! I've recently enough moved to YouTube from Twitch, and was wondering if there's any way to integrate the YT Studio Dashboard buttons into OBS.Live after I go live? What I mean by that is the buttons for adding Stream Markers and for ending the stream from the YT side. Currently, it's relying on me loading up the YT dashboard, but browsers are generally cumbersome and I don't leave mine open while streaming to not use up resources.
I have tried adding a custom dock, but realised that A) This is just as heavy resource-wise as opening it in a standard browser, and B) The Dock URL needs to be updated with each consecutive stream.

I'm not sure if this is even currently possible, or if maybe it's better left as a feature request for OBS.Live, but figured I'd start here at least in case there's something I'm missing. Cheers in advance!

Hi everyone. Does anyone know what the approximate time is on average for notifications to be fed through the YouTube API to StreamElements?

Had a bit of weird one last night where a viewer subscribed but the alert didn't trigger for almost 20 minutes - both the bot and alert didn't trigger.

The delay can range from minutes to hours to not showing up, unfortunately. But this is by Google design, so there isn't a fix for the delay

1. Due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

I'm aware of the delay and the way public/private subs work. but i use OBS on my second pc and keep it running basically all the time.
when i post yt shorts i get a lot of subscribers from them so i get subs fairly often i would say, but like i said, they never pop in my activity feed on OBS.Live, last sub was 2 days ago, the sub appears on streamlabs activity feed just not the stream elements activity feed. i have never seen anything there before.

I don't know if more people are experiencing this problem, but for some reason my StreamElements can't identify new subscribers by the platform, although when accessing the "Session Data", "Totals" and "Total subscribers" option it correctly informs the amount total YouTube subscribers at the moment. The chat commands are also working properly and StreamElements is moderator of my YouTube channel.

The "Last Subscriber" and "Subscriber Goal" tags are not updated as new people subscribe to YouTube. Are there any additional procedures I can try to fix the problem?

From what I see, you haven't been live for the past 10 hours or so. Meaning you didn't do any public stream in the past 30 to 60 minutes to even warrant out bot to join your channel.

that means that new brand accounts are enforced with a restriction from google that we don't yet understand

that's why we see that error from google in the login process

and that's what we need to understand if we can resolve on our side

and it doesn't affect all brand accounts. seems to be related to new brand accounts or recently changed brand accounts (again, we're not sure as we don't have the info on the error from google)

In fact, I don't see events of any kind in your account, not just memberships.
Try the following steps:

1. Use this URL in order to logout of StreamElements - https://streamelements.com/logout
2. Disconnect the app at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
3. Then navigate to https://streamelements.com/ to login with your YT account again.

After that, wait until you stream again. If there are still events not updating, open a ticket with us at https://streamelements.com/contact and let us know, along with screenshots showing when you got the memberships or anything else that didn't reach us.
