The count will show based on when you added it to the channel, and new subs/events may come at a delay based on YouTubes design.

There could be a delay on those alerts, the pinned messages should have info on that.

I have to sign out and stream without OBS LIVE. I really love this service but its not working at all. the last issue i am having is with STREAM LABELS nothing populates in stream despite the fact if getting several new subs. it always shows no new sub. can anyone help

Hi guys, I have a question regarding the YouTube Alerts in streamelements. Is it possible to set up an alert for different Tiers of memberships? So if someone joins a Tier 1 membership - he gets his own alert. If someone joins a Tier 3 - he gets his own alert, etc.

I tried setting something like that up, but it always just shows the "normal" Tier 1 membership alert, doesn't matter if he joins some other membership tier or not

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible. https://youtu.be/KDvLynUqXI4

Hi, question : when we create an overlay, does the information complete automatically for YT overlay ? I have created once for twitch and the information is auto updated (last follower, ...) but when I create the same overlay and I test it for youtube, the information are not auto updated (but they are well appearing if I made a test (ex sub test aler)).

I have not tested "in live" actually. But for now, the last sub is not appearing on my streamelements overlay (YT)

If you are on the absolute latest versions of OBS Studio and OBS.Live, then something on your side is making the 'login' window insecure and its making google think its generally insecure. You will have to check this on your PC if its an external software.

hi i just started using streamelements and found an overlay which also had an alert of subscribers in youtube when i emulated this it worked perfectly but when real people subscribed during test stream it didn't show up. I also tried emulating while streaming and again it worked so i think there is some problem about getting to know if some real person has subscribed because emulation shows up. Please help me

@icy isle There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

My overlay has the announcement of new subscribers and sub count. They don't seem to be working. The subcount will updated live (but seems like it's delayed or sometimes doesn't do it until refresh). However, the announcement of new subs isn't working live at all any more. The Twitch one works perfectly, but it seems your connection with YT just isn't hitting real time if at all.

Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

yeah, a staff told me last time i asked that its cuz youtube isnt sending any sub data, superchat data etc to 3rd party services so the only alert that shows up is a donation through streamelements its self cuz that isnt connected to yt in any way

Hi guys, do you maybe know if it would ever be able to have different alerts for different Tiers of Memberships? So for example: Someone becomes a Tier 3 Member on my channel and it triggers the Tier 3 Member Alert.

As far as I know there is no possible way to trigger different alerts depending on the Tier right now... I hope someone knows more about this! 🙂

Just to point out, that we are not able to support custom created widgets. If its not drawing information properly from the aggregates like it should, then there might be an issue with it specifically and you will need to contact the creator of the customer widget.

It's good to know it's not an isolated issue but it's a shame it's an open issue with no date of potential resolve. Displaying new donators and members is a key way for streamers to earn revenue and with 200+ AVG concurrents this is even bigger thing for me.

Hello. Question: When I try to do a private test stream on YouTube, the Chat doesn't work inside my OBS Live. Any adivce please? Logging into YouTube via the OBS.Live browser has been met with issues, based on settings by Google's end. Currently looking into this, but I don't think there's an immediate fix.

I can stream if I log out of Streamelements but I won't have my stream activity shown or chat in the OBS window. I could just open up ground control and a new youtube tab just for stream chat but it is redundant when I used to have all of this in one in OBS.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Basically youtube has a delay on the response if they get properly triggered. There is no way around this and in their opinion functioning as intended.

I am switching over from Twitch to Youtube for streaming and i'm having a little difficulty setting up some of my SE overlays. For instance - My Sub Goal widget shows 3/100. I currently have 36 subs on the channel. But I also noticed that when I connected to the SE Activity Feed in OBS for my YouTube account, only the last 3 subscribers show in the activity feed. I'm guessing those are the same 3 showing for my Sub Goal...but I don't know why it's only showing the last 3 instead of the 36 that I have total. Any suggestions?

I think I accidentally solved this issue for the time being. I went to Activity Feed > Widget Data and just reset my sub count progress under the Goals tab. Hopefully this just starts adding new subs on top of that number now?

LiveChat is not working idk why, I have added the layer and didn't change any settings just reduced the delay to 0 seconds then saved it and added browser source to obs studio then created an unlisted stream to test it but whenever I type something (even from a different account) the chat is only dark nothing shows up in the rectangle box.
