Hi everyone! I got here from the main website hoping to get some help troubleshooting the Chat box that was installed with Streamelements. When I first installed it, it was working. One time I didn't need it so I closed it and when i re-added it from the menu it doesn't show my live Youtube chat anymore, it's just a blank box and I haven't been able to figure out how to get it working again.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. @frigid comet There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

• What bitrate should I be using? (I intend to stream to both YouTube and Twitch using Restream)

Hi friends. I've been researching and issue and can't seem to find what I am looking for. I swapped from twitch to youtube a few months ago and ever since adding YT none of my widgets are working. They show zeros like it is not connecting to the channel. When I was on twitch it worked fine. I am YT and mac user with obs. not sure if any of that matters but pointing me in any direction would be appreciated.

It is however couple things first.

Account Merging - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

And it's a 1 way street. If you want to remove either one later on you have to delete everything with both accounts.

3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Also, youtube doesn't list the membership tier numbers in your dashboard - safe to assume your lowest tier is 1 and that it increments up from there?

You need an extra overlay for YT. Overlays aren't interchangeable between streaming services because of different features.

1. Close down your chat and stream information
2. In OBS go to View > Docks > Chat
3. Click on the cog, go to non-mod settings
4. Look under My Preferences to enable/disable dark mode
5. You can then reopen your docks under View > Docks

data will be populated **after **linking and not all the existing data on your streaming account will be populated into your SE profile upon first connection

Because linking accounts does not make them share anything.

It's solely to make swapping between them easier, as well as to duplicate overlay designs between them.

Channels do not share data even when linked in the same account.
