might be a solution for the error 404 tiktok chat glitch (or what fixed it for me)
right click on the error 404 browser page, and copy current address
paste it into your preferred browser and login
then create a custom browser dock and paste the url with the whole "connect" to live chat to interact with viewers after you go live
then press apply and turn on the dock, after that it should be good to go :)

1. Copy the Broken Chat URL
   Right-click the 404 page inside OBS.
   Click “Copy current address.”

2. Paste the copied link into Chrome (or your preferred browser).
   Press Enter.

3, If prompted, log into your TikTok account.
Make sure the chat loads properly in your browser. (should say "Connect to LIVE chat to interact with viewers after you go LIVE")

4. In OBS:
   Go to View
   Click Docks
   Select Custom Browser Docks
   Paste the FULL chat URL (including the “connect to live chat” part after you go live)
   Click Apply
   Enable the new dock

Once you start your stream, the chat should now load correctly without the 404 error.

The only other thing I can suggest is going into your other accounts and into security and permissions, then apps and service permissions and remove streamelements as one of them, then try my steps again, if that doesnt work youd have to delete the other tiktok account, thats how I got to work including the step by step guide, but sorry if it doesnt work for you.

Hi, I need to fix something as fast as possible.
I created my own panel using my own program, but there’s a problem with anything that’s outside of StreamElements Live and OBS. Normally everything works fine without StreamElements Live.

When I try to add a panel (chat) on the right side and then close OBS, after reopening OBS I have to start the panel manually. I want it to always start automatically together with OBS.

Unfortunately, StreamElements Live breaks this behavior. Is there any solution for this?
Reinstalling OBS does not help.

!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used

Has anyone had an issue where you're multistreaming and then suddenly twitch will stop showing the stream but other places like youtube are completely fine? I use twitch as my primary and I'm having this issue. It will work for a few minutes then then it will turn into a black screen but the audio is completely fine ...

Edit: I think it’s my bitrate. I’ve been using 9000kbps for twitch for a long time with no issue but it seems they’re now enforcing their hardcap between 6000-8000kbps. I’ll probably start back on 6000kbps

I decided to completely get rid of 3rd party OBS plugins, including SE.Live, and I kid you not, StreamElements thinks that Chrome is actually an OBS component and MUST be closed, even tho OBS isn't running at the moment. Chrome is my browser, and I ain't closing it just to uninstall some plugin for OBS. So I ended up manually deleting the files associated with StreamElements SE.Live OBS plugin, and I kid you not, I painstakingly deleted all Windows Registry entries for StreamElements I could find (and I could delete, cuz some I couldn't even tho I was running regedit as a sysadmin). Yes, I'm that unhinged and crazy, to get my hands dirty in Windows Registry Editor. I hate that place, but it was necessary.

And no, Chrome is NOT an OBS component, it's a web browser that OBS might use for rendering web page sources. That itself doesn't make it an OBS component. It's just a dependency.

Does anyone have time to help with an overlay issue? I haven't streamed in about 5.5-6 years. I had overlays that I enjoyed / worked for what I do, and they are still in my Streamelements Dashboard, however, they are not working within OBS. If I click on the URL within the Dashboard of S.E. when it asks to 'open in browser' it works fine...but it does NOT work in the OBS preview / when I'm streaming either.

That can happen sometimes when StreamElements and OBS Studio lose sync after a long time. Usually it’s something simple like the browser source needing to be refreshed or the overlay link being re-added.

I’m not the most technical with overlays myself, but someone who helped me sort a few stream setup issues before was really good with that kind of thing.

Twitch is the only(?) service that has a vod track that I know of. You would have to set up your audio tracks in OBS to exclude the music and then use those to multi stream.

i'm catching up on old msgs but i have this issue - i'll multistream and TTV/TT/YT are fine...then TTV/YT will start to lag/jumpy and it's usually bc of TT. once i turn off TT, everything catches up and is fine again. Personally, i think it's TT itself bc they really really want you to use TT studio v. any 3rd party software but I could be wrong.

Hey guys, I installed the Multistream plugin and set everything up, but I can only start the vertical and horizontal stream for YouTube with SVT-AV1 or AOM AV1 video encoding. Even then, one of the two streams always breaks off and both generally run very jerkily. However, if I want to use AMD HW H.264 (AVC) or AMD HW H.264 (HEVC) video encoding, the stream doesn't even start, so nothing happens at all. I would really appreciate your help... 2. Uninstall SE.Live (Add/Remove Programs)
3. Uninstall OBS Studio (make sure that "Settings, Scenes, etc." is not selected)
4. Install OBS Studio again from https://obsproject.com/
   Your settings will be saved unless you have selected to delete them during removal.

You'll have a functional OBS, at least. 👍

TikTok requires like stream keys through agents every time you go live, I suggest using TikTok studio and just streaming a cropped view of your OBS application, for YouTube you can stream both vertical and regular resolutions at the same time using the SE live OBS plugin, BUT the current latest OBS update does not work with the SE live vertical canvas . So make sure you have not updated your OBS to 32.1. If you haven’t then you are good to go, if you have then you should go download a slightly older version of OBS before you download the SE live OBS plugin. If you already have the plugin then do not activate the vertical canvas yet as it will totally brick your SE live

TikTok manages access to stream via tiktok studio and via OBS separately. You will need to reach out to them.

If you mean a quater of your screen using the vertical canvas for tiktok, the only solution i know to do is reset obs and mine works normal

Having an issue where my StreamElements Pluggin is essentially sending a “ghost stream” to Tik Tok. On OBS StreamElements it’s saying i’m “live” on both Twitch and Tik Tok. But on Tik Tok app for both my device and my friends devices it doesn’t even say I’m live. I am “approved” for Tik Tok Live after sending in an application.

If anyone has a fix or is having similar issues let me know.
