Hey guys, I’ve connected Streamelements’ se.live with OBS so I can multistream on TikTok and Twitch. But now I have a problem: whenever I click on the three dots in the Vertical (vertical plugin), OBS crashes and I have to restart it. And now I even have the issue that I no longer have the Twitch chat in OBS, and I also lost the option to change the Twitch title and other settings inside OBS. What can I do to fix this? Hi, can someone help me ?
i have problem with audios sources, my audios sources from, start scenes, end and break appear in my screen scenes and game capture.
But there's not in the same group.

So I think I've found the cause of the problem. The issue occurs when I switch scenes via the OBS dock, not the multistream dock. The scene changes in OBS but not on the canvas, even though I've linked my scenes correctly. The scenes don't change when I switch from the canvas. However, I can't do that because I use TouchPortal to change my scenes. Do you have a solution?

Fixed it nvm, to anyone running into this issue. You specifically have to log out of the SE.live within OBS, not just your browsers. Then it'll work

With everything that stream elements has come out with like ground control, se.live, etc. I FULLY recommend that you guys get a second pc dedicated to streaming and link it to your gaming PC. it's hard to keep track of everything on a single PC and single monitor

not everyone has the money, not everyone has the space, not everyone can deal with the heat output of 2 PCs, there's a lot of room for error with a second PC, i wouldn't advise it to everyone indiscriminately

a number of games either intentionally block obs-studio's game capture hook (destiny2, roblox), or have issues with it (geometry dash, modded minecraft); you could use display or window capture for these games, but due to how display and window capture are designed, there is a chance to miss entire frames; you're only guaranteed 2 out of every 3 frames, anything higher is not guaranteed

for those two people i was talking too earlier. turns out i am right 100%. you can game capture the game through steam both through OBS and the windows game bar. steam is acting like a shell between you and the game and the steam stuff also works for the game. so there is absolutely NO code injection from OBS to destiny through steam.

For those having issues with Tiktok here was my fix. I saw in the streamelements multi-streaming dock there was a red error next to my name even though I had full access. I then opened the Tiktok Chat feed and clicked connect. After that I was prompted to sign in again on Tiktok which I did. It said I don't have access so I clicked the apply button on that page. I was instantly given permission to stream and the red error was gone from my OBS after I closed and re-opened.

Hey all, big prob, why are my overlays suddenly not working with video files anymore? I just edited a few video files and suddenly, after the third overlay edit, none of my overlays are showing up anymore. All I see is a blank white box. I can't see anything in the preview either. When I load an image into the overlay, I can see it. But when I try to load a video, I don't even see a preview for it. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is it me or Streamelements itself?

the second option mutes the audio source in the output, this can be useful if you're already capturing all system sounds, this option will then prevent creating an echo

I know, but before, due to a bug, the listening function didn't work for me - either I heard it, or the streamer heard it, not at the same time. I use this to separate my personal audio and the audio for the stream (for different volumes and the absence of music on the recording)

I want to prevent updates after installation—they throw a critical error.
I checked everything: I deleted OBS, deleted the plugin, installed the latest version of OBS, installed the plugin, updated, and then the endless loop.
I simply deleted everything and installed it through the Stream Elements website. I then had to update OBS there, as it wasn't the latest version, and neither was the plugin itself.

The version on the website hasn't been updated for months, and updates have to be installed manually, which is causing a critical error with this fix for version 31, which simply shouldn't exist anymore, since version 32 is available.
I've tried a clean reinstall and even deleted the settings—nothing changes. The plugin always gives the same error.
And if you click "skip update," the entire plugin simply crashes with an error.

Sounds very unlinkely since all that happens is that "bot of your choice" gets the name of the user, or the account name (they are different, check your profile settings) and pastes that name in the message.
Since the message doesnt start with the command EVEN IF the users name was "/ban name" it wouldnt trigger the command afaik and having a "/" in your name is impossible

The issue is that there's supposedly a loophole or vulnerability in stream elements. If a non-moderator uses a command that would normally mention a viewer, this loophole allows them to ban anyone, even if they're not a moderator.

Hi. I’m experiencing the same issue for the second time with my streaming access.

The first time, I was told that my access was suspended for 7 days. I waited, then applied again — and my application was approved.

After that, I started a stream for literally one second, without a title or description, just to check the connection, and immediately stopped it. I did not actually stream any content.

Some time later, I received another message saying that my access was revoked again and that I need to wait another 7 days, supposedly because the broadcast content does not meet the requirements.

This is already the second time, and in total I have been waiting 8–9 days. At the same time, I get no response at all from email support.

Could you please clarify:
• what could be causing this issue?
• what exactly is considered a violation if no content was streamed?
• how can I correctly pass the review so this does not happen again?

Nah not bought Elgato. You can get Elgato but at the moment, shops have the 4K version, which I personally think it’s pointless as most devices we watch with can handle 1080p. If we all have 4K devices, then it makes sense.

Streamelements is aware of the issue of streams being disconnected by Tiktok when using the SE.Live plugin on OBS, right? I presume it's being investigated. Seems clear that Tiktok is force disconnecting it for an erroneous reason, citing violations that don't exist. Can repeatedly go live to Tiktok on SE.live just fine, but it always gets force turned off by Tiktok after about 20 minutes or so. Has been an issue since Jan 1st, as if SE needs to renew their deal with Tiktok or something

Sorry but that announcement is what support have been saying over and over. When you check on TikTok violations there’s nothing but you get banned from streaming live through se.live and you have to wait 7 days before you can reapply. There’s defiantly an issue with se.live cause so many people are getting the same issue

I believe what's going on here is TikTok trying to force people to stream directly on TikTok without using other tools than the ones provided by them.

StreamElements won't say its directly TikTok's fault because it could do some damage for their relations with TikTok itself. But personally I am not the biggest fan of loose explanation "Hey, its not our problem, go deal with TikTok at your own" when clearly its an issue between StreamElements tool and TikTok itself.

It will only force people to find another tools or ways to multistream to avoid problems

Weird how there is radio silence from SE about why tiktok isn't allowing multi-streaming through se.live plugin anymore. It seems clear that ever since 2026 began a new rule has been implemented by tiktok where they shutoff all streams that are not using Tiktok Studio.
However this goes against the previous agreement they had with SE and Streamlabs, so it would be nice to hear if SE is speaking to Tiktok about restoring that deal instead of being completely in the dark about it

To be clear, I don't have restricted access on Tiktok and can keep going live instantly after its shut off by Tiktok. Re-logging in to SE.Live/tiktok doesn't help, and reaching out to Tiktok had no response either. So SE's announcement boiling down to "we don't know" isn't great as its very clearly an issue Tiktok has with multistreaming partner plugins, not just with SE and is not at all an individual case by case issue. Seems like the real answer is the SE.live plugin for tiktok is now non-usable and no longer a value add feature for SE

I’m having the same problem man, I can stream no problem through TT studios, not ideal cause running OBS and TT uses a lot of processing power. I reached out to TT and they responded with there is no violations or restrictions on my account. Not sure what the issue is but I hope it can be resolved, it’s happening to multiple users where they get suspended while using SE plugin and immediately after can go live again.

I used to use Aitum, it will warn you that the program will not work properly if using SE plugin aswell, TBH I haven’t had any issues with SE, the overlays bots everything is amazing the multistream side of things is amazing (given that TT sorts their stuff out) I removed all plugins and just used SE.

I would suggest giving it a go through OBS and see how you feel, you can always revert back to what you using if you not happy, but for multi streaming I wouldn’t recommend anything else.

If you uninstall OBS first, it can break; and if you remove the OBS folder the SE installer can get stuck, you won't be able to uninstall or install it.

I had the same problem with TikTok starting on January 1st. I changed the plugin and the issue was still there. Today, I enabled the +18 option for all my content in my profile, and instead of 20–30 minutes, I was able to stream for almost 3 hours without any problems.

The path is:
Settings and Privacy → Limit viewers → +18 content

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. It's not exactly a bug report but I think I found the root of a lot of my Streamelements issues on YouTube. As it turns out, Streamelements, for whatever reason, pulls chat data from your furthest scheduled stream as appose to your most recently scheduled

Due to changes by YouTube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from YouTube by their design.

Your stream must be live AND public for StreamElements to work with YouTube.

Did you find a solution? the only way I found is to create a browser live and copy url and key each time... and for that I don't need al de se.live and it's crap
