I already logged out of StreamElements and logged back in with my new Twitch name, but under Alerts it still only shows "Recent" and doesn’t update.

But when someone followed me, then stopped following me and refollow again, the alert gets not played again for the refollow. Is there a timelimit between 2 follows from the same person which must be over or whats the problem?

It may not ever alert for re-follows. You can try manually removing them from the Recent Followers on https://streamelements.com/dashboard/session and see if the re-follow will trigger an alert.

I'm someone who is not the most tech literate, so I started with Streamlabs. Feel more confident about streaming and wanted to switch over to Stream Elements. For whatever reason, the import button doesn't work. Whenever I try to import my set up in StreamLabs to StreamElements, it just fails.

Okay, cool. No problem. Now I have to manually set up everything...And sweet mercy, Stream ELements makes me feel lost.

I’m trying to figure out how to set something up for both Kick and Twitch. Specifically, I want a system that can:
• Run a timer or trigger things at specific times
• React to certain events like T2 subs, or when someone donates / sends a specific amount of bits
• Show some kind of widget/alert on stream when those events happen

If I were you, I would sign up for indeed, they are a job hunting site. Great place to go for that. If you want to work as a video editing engineer or audio engineer. I would suggest taking a few lessons on YouTube for that, for audio. SMG is a great studio for learning audio and mixing techniques. For video, I would look up lessons on da Vinci resolve. Great video editing software. Skills Factory is a great resource to start out learning about Resolve. From there, make a ton of videos showing off your work, then look around for big YouTubers who are looking for video editors. Don’t harass them, just put in an application (however they want you to do it) then wait.

Why doesn't StreamElements Bot recognize a mod trying to create a command? I have been noticing this a lot recently, a mod uses !command add !example1 example2 and the bot fails to add the command

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

i started having issues today regarding my multistreaming. Its telling me everytime i try to stream that my Youtube api failed to load and the stream fails to start - i've gone in and reset my stream keys, ive tried creating a new stream key... tried recreating my youtube connection in mulistream...

but everything i've tried, when i hit start streaming - i get the pop up to log into youtube - i log in... it says successful connection with the shaking hands... then tells me the api fails to load.

Any help would be appreciated as i've not had any issues with this until today - and everything i've tried has failed.

and oh YAY - i've just discovered that AAALLLL my streamdeck overlays for obs are gone?!?!?!

It was a major version update to OBS that affected how plugins and external applications interfaced with OBS. Always having the newest software tends to break things.

I would reach out to Elgato, I haven't heard of many issues after updating. If you have a portable install of OBS that could cause it to not work.

A new OBS update was released, and it still hasn't been fixed.
Stream Elements is currently too focused on affiliate programs and doesn't care about anything else. Support and bug fixing have gotten much worse.

All good! Specially since you've been out of the game! OBS is it's own free software. If Firefox is your default browser, OBS will use that when loading "browser sources" so that'll be an issue I guess lol yeah. But if you use chrome as an example then it'll run fine!

It's an impersonation scam. They're pretending to be a larger creator, messaging people promising to help grow their own channels, then pass you off to their "manager" or whoever "helped them" who will just end up demanding payment to either post your channel link in a discord server or straight up view/follow bot your channel.

I'm a discord admin and mod in a lot of servers, I run into this scam regularly.

Easiest tell is seeing the accounts of a large creator linked in the discord account's About Me/Bio section instead of the Connected Accounts section... because they don't actually own those accounts, since they're impersonating them.

Just create Second Canvas for Twitch. that is what most do. Twitch allows multistreaming but you can show anything else that is from another platform you are also streaming on. I do several I have My Master that is 4K to YouTube, Then I do a 1080p canvas that is for everything else except YT and twitch "Rumble, X, Kick". Then I have a separate Twitch only canvas that is 1080p. Then of course I have my Vertical Canvas that goes to YT in vertical as well as TikTok and Instagram. The Twitch one has different browser sources for twitch only overlays.

the other 1080p one uses the same scenes as the 4K just shrunk down.

To everybody having issues with SE. Over the course of 2 weeks Ive opened 3 different tickets trying to get my issues resolved. Have an actual video showing the issue se was causing and was told SE doesn't affect that. Even with video showing it doing it repeatedly (I could uninstall everything and reinstall and the replicate it 100% of the time and still wasn't enough for help

So after all the circus games here SE has been playing. I switched to aitum. And man I can't tell you guys how much better it is.

Was back up and multistreaming in less than 10 minutes from install with aitum. And with even more streams than SE provides.

So to all of you HOPING for results here.... save your time and switch to something else that works.

Streamelements has become such a joke. And the support has been atrocious (totally shit) for those that dont know that word.

That should work as long as "testing" and "houseaholics live" are both in your title, and your category is "Music". It looks like the timers may not be able to run more often than every 5 minutes, and you need 5 lines of chat in that 5 minutes for it to trigger.

If it's not, disable the timer, part the bot, logout, login, enable the timer, join the bot -- other than that you'll probably need a support ticket so someone can look into it

Hey, so I recently used SE live to stream to TikTok and twitch. And I tried it again last night and it said my live access has been suspended. However, when I check my live status on TikTok it doesn’t say that, I’m still able to go live from my phone and the TikTok Studio app. The only place it doesn’t let me is OBS using SE live.

go on the tiktok app from your mobile device, go to your manage devices. And just deleted all the manage devices you have created or logged into from the past. Once that is done logout of your se.live from obs studio and then log back in and reapply and it should auto approve you!

You can set your subscriptions to private on YouTube. There's a good chance the user is set to private in which case you wouldn't get notifications regardless of service. I have seen SE lock up and not push for awhile (notifications or chatbot responses) though but that's the usual response to not getting alerts from YouTube.

Sounds to me like the source isn't being found. Usually if you have a graphic or capture source that can't be found it'll put all of the resizing buttons into the top left corner (of that source) on top of each other.

Go into the properties of the source and make sure it's using the right capture card or app. If it is try switching to something else and back.

I have this happen with my cameras some times if they get unplugged while OBS is open. I switch to a different camera and back.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but as you all might know twitch is allowing a vertical output... that being said ATIUM seems to be the only option to be able to push the vertical output to twitch in obs ... Will streamelements multi stream plug in be available 👀 to be able to do this soon? I tried re adding my twitch and assign a secondary vert output but thats not an option ... it just knows you are already logged in and leaves the original output in without adding the secondary for you to add the vert canvas to it... wondering if someone knew a work around

Is anyone also experiencing issues with chatbot on Kick? For one stream it worked, and after its not working. Also my re-sub alert doesnt work, its playing deafult sub alert instead of resub. Anyone know how to fix the youtube api request failed everytime I try to multi stream I always have issue with Youtube. It will then redirect me to browser have me sign in it will then finish loading do nothing then open a second browser tab make me sign in again and will fail then I get the youtube api request failed

So I just tried using Aitum's new thing.... Waaaaay too many issues so I gotta switch back to SE LIVE.

However, they did have ONE thing that I DESPERATELY need to have available in SE LIVE, and that's the ability to import/clone existing vertical canvas scenes into other vertical canvas scenes.

Any chance we can add that ASAP?

Ah, that sounds super annoying!
On Mac, SE.Live can get stuck if the browser cache or cookies are acting up.

Try clearing those, make sure both OBS and SE.Live are updated, and log into Twitch in your browser first before connecting.

Hi everybody I have an issue with connecting. Since I downloaded the newest version of OBS, on the main screen when you are tasked to connect with YouTube, Twitch, etc or continue without login, nothing works. When I click connect with YouTube I select my desired account, and I check all the boxes A pop-up comes saying "Logging you in" It goes black and nothing happens. When I press "continue without logging in" it quits OBS completely. I am on a Mac.

hello! I need help with OBS, specifically with the StreamElements installation
essentially, after finishing the installation, the plugin simply doesn't appear at all. it just opens my regular OBS with nothing new

I saw in a YouTube video that if you add SE.Live to OBS and connect it with TikTok, the stream key should appear automatically. However, in my case, I received some error messages, and TikTok asked me to apply for access. I have already submitted my application, and I sincerely hope it will be approved.

I’m currently setting up my multistream with SE.Live + OBS and I could use some tips from others who stream on TikTok.

Right now, I already have a vertical (9:16) scene for TikTok through the multistream feature, but I’d like to also have a horizontal (16:9) version — just like some creators where viewers can tap the fullscreen icon on TikTok to rotate the stream.

My goal is:
🎮 Stream to TikTok in both vertical and horizontal formats
⚙️ All through StreamElements SE.Live, without needing a second TikTok account

Has anyone here managed to set this up or found a workaround to add TikTok twice in the multistream list (once 9:16, once 16:9)?

Hi! I’m having an issue where, when I try to do a multistream on Twitch and TikTok, everything works perfectly on Twitch, but on TikTok the live only starts on the default canvas. When I create my own canvas, the live indicator turns on (as if the stream is about to start), but the stream doesn’t actually show up on TikTok.
In short: TikTok only works on the default canvas.
