Hey, does someone here know how to make the SE bot post like every 30min about a playlist of a game, but only on a specific game that you stream on Twitch? Because I for example play eFootball and have set that as category and also set it as requirement for that timer, that I have to have eFootball as category for it to post that information. But somehow, it never posted during 5 hours of streaming, even when I had an active chat and set the timer to every 30 minutes. Only the timers without category requirements worked.

Hey, I have a general question for y’all. I’m using Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting, and then multistreaming via the plugin and things get.. congested when my CPU or GPU comes under heavy load. I’m thinking it’s EB, transcoding locally and pushing it out.

The question is, should I stop using EB, manually set my preferred settings for Twitch? I know the benefits of EB are disconnect protection and not putting the transcoding on the user, but is it worth the extra overhead?

under docks, you should have a dock called twitch stats. itll show you run time, subs, follower count, current viewers, clips made, and people who have viewed your current stream.

The stream service selected in the OBS settings will be the default output from OBS. If you use SE.Live you can add additional outputs via the plugin.

I tried switching to "Stable" first, and SE Live still works, but nothing works and it asks for an update. From there, I switch to "Beta" and completely delete SE Live again.

You need to configure them within the Multi-Streaming panel and ensure the correct canvas is selected for each platform

1. Toggle the switch next to the platform name in the Multi-Streaming dock to enable it

3. For platforms like TikTok or YouTube Shorts, create a 9x16 canvas(1080x1920 resolution)

That’s super weird! It could be that YouTube is lowering your framerate because of your stream settings — like bitrate or encoder profile. Twitch usually handles 1080p/60fps better, but YouTube might drop you to 30fps if your bitrate’s too low or your encoder is set to something like ‘main’ instead of ‘high.’ I’d check your streaming software settings and make sure your bitrate’s around 4500-6000 kbps and the encoder is set to ‘high.’ Also, make sure YouTube’s stream output is actually set to 60fps. When having problems linking my TIKTOK account, I opened a ticket and they basically said that the feature is only available to a select number of users. I am trying to use the plug in for the first time. I logged in, but it’s saying I do not have eligibility for TikTok. I have almost 5k followers and could go live right now in the app if I wanted to. I click “apply” within OBS and try to upload the 3 screenshots providing proof I am the account holder and it consistently says error, try again later. I have cleared cache and cookies, tried incognito, different web browsers, and using within the dimensions required.

I'm experiencing a strange issue with Streamlabs Desktop. The app crashed and showed an error message stating that it had closed but that streaming/recording was still happening in the background. However, I was not streaming or recording at the time.

The message asks if I want to relaunch the application and warns that doing so will end the "stream/recording session," but there was never an active session. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

Any idea why this might be happening and how to fix it?

Hey all. New to using stream elements.

So I've been looking at guides online and none seem to mention the "elements" section. I've found some nice theme packages in the "elements gallery" and have saved it into my "elements" page but now i want to bring them into a new overlay and can't seem to figure out how to do that. Is that possible or is it kind of it's own separate thing. I don't really want to treat the element as the overlay (I can do that if I have no choice). I can create overlays and I can edit the elements I have saved, but how do I add it to my overlay editing? This is specifically about the animated background I've saved.

they have to take time to actually determine the scale, impact, and next steps. It's a legal thing especially since they have global customers with different data privacy requirements, they can't immediately respond to it

it is also, theoretically, possible that it's a fake, or that the scale/impact isn't as wide as claimed. Which is why they have to investigate to confirm that it actually happened

Monitor your own TikTok live? I'd say get grab a phone and just search your profile to see if you went live. If you're looking to monitor chats and so on, just go to your TikTok phone app and login to the account that is live, hit the live button and choose (Live Studio) it should let you monitor the live on your phone in real timee

I would check your obs settings make sure it's pointing to the correct channel if your using obs integration with whatever platform your using. If your using a stream key I would delete the one saved and grab a fresh copy from whatever platform your using. I would also check if bandwidth test mode is enabled on obs

I would also check if you may have a setting turned on the stream elemts multi stream panel. Make sure the settings you want are turned on and or off

Typically streamelements doesn't handle anything regarding to starting or stopping of your broadcast in obs unless your using the multistream feature

I come back to see if anyone from SE knows why tiktok connection is not working from the OBS plugin? My LIVE access is still active and working fine directly on TikTok and TikTok Live Studio. The "support" team keeps saying it is my Live access that has been restricted, which again, I've confirmed it is not. They claim I have to request for access via SE.Live, however, the result of the status show it is Stream Elements user the one that is restricted. Unless someone from SE helps me understand how or why this means it is MY account the one is restricted, I'm not gonna beleive it has to do with my personal tiktok account which is still working for me on its own. The only breaking point i'm finding is SE.Live - Anyone having this issue too?

According to SE Support on Twitter, the TikTok restriction is because of your account, not the plugin. Don't really buy that, but I've just opened a ticket with TikTok to try and get some kind of clarity since Studio & Mobile streams work just fine

Yep. They keep saying it's TikTok revoking access, which is true. But the whole selling point of the add-on besides multi-stream was instant access to TikTok Live without a stream key. Studio is clunky and down right awful, but it works, and it'll have to do for now

TikTok is aware it's revoking it to SE.Live or Restream though, seeing as when you check for access that is on screen. You'd like to think TikTok would notify you also.

Multistream to TikTok was my selling point for using SE.
I've had other issues I've put with til now just to use TikTok, but if that's not possible, I may switch to another to stream YT and Twitch.

I think the only issue you'll have is one app taking exclusivity over your webcam/capture card. You could do a cropped capture of one app to another, but then you're treading into a pc resource issue potentially. Looking into other software at the moment myself, as much as I've loved SE, this is stunting the little bit of growth I've recently had

So I been using the SE.live on obs and its been fine, the other day I did try to stream on tiktok and it was also fine, then next day I was looking into to set it up better like frame and everything in the canvas for tiktok, my obs start freezing and I have done all updates there is to do on my pc then I was thinking this has to be obs issue because its only obs freezing, I cant even do anything befor it freeze after I start it up.

So I uninstalled the Streamelements part and its fine it does not freeze, when I reinstall SE on obs it keeps freezing and not letting me do stuff, I notice also it keeps bringing up the old stuff even after a reinstall so I wonder if there is some files I can delete so I kinda have a fresh install of SE ?

Obs by itself without the SE.LIVE is working fine without freezing

one more thing I did notice was when I kept trying to launch and see when it freeze it keeps adding sources like duplicates them in the vertical canvas from SE

Having been an OBS user for 5 years now, It seems like the issue is indeed with the SE plugin itself. I would normally try to check OBS Crash logs and identify which process it is that is crashing (causing the freeze on obs). However, even if you do so, I'm afraid the support for the app or the plugin is not great, and you may end up not getting a resolution. If removing the plugin unfroze your OBS, I would consider using an entirely different plgin option. It seem (for the number of messages here) that SE is having a few too many issues, and I would honestly prefer something that is not giving me a headache every time I start OBS (which is the case right now).
So, I'd say report your issue with a ticket here and maybe they'l help you, i really hope you get lucky and they actually help you.

well what other plugins you got? try disabling half of them and see if the freezing stops. If it dont, disable the other half instead. Whenever the freezing stops, the plugin causing the problem will be in the group you last disabled before testing.

OBS has one output, the SE.Live plugin adds additional outputs, but does not modify the output from OBS.

So yes, you will be able to. Just disable Twitch in the plugin.

However when I try to setup stream labs in OBS it is trying to stream to my youtube account as opposed to the one I am a manager for. Hey! If Streamlabs/OBS is trying to stream to your personal YouTube instead of the one you manage, here’s what to do:

1. Log out of all Google/YouTube accounts in your browser.

2. Open a new incognito window.

3. Go to YouTube.com and sign in with the account that manages the channel.

4. Switch to the brand account (click your profile icon > select the correct channel).

5. Then go to StreamElements.com and log in via YouTube — make sure you're selecting the brand account, not your personal one.

6. Back in OBS or Streamlabs, reconnect the account if needed. It should now link to the correct channel.

Let me know if you get stuck anywhere!

IT's hard to say, but lagging etc, if OBS isn't dropping frames, I'd say bitrate is the full culprit.

Hi all, I seem to be having some trouble streaming to Youtube. About an hour ago, I was streaming to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. I saw I had two streaming objects for YouTube in the StreamElements Multi-Streaming tab, and deactivated one of them. The Default Canvas is fine with me. However, now it won't stream to YouTube anymore. It does bother me that there are two objects there for Youtube, but I guess I can live with that.

Hmm... I seem to have gotten it to work again. I believe I had to press the actual "Start Stream" button for it to work. Youtube settings seems to require a title for the stream. I use TouchPortal, similar to Stream Deck, to automatically start the stream, but I don't think it populates the title field for the stream if I use TouchPortal...

When I try to use SE Live Multistreaming, OBS specifically lags. It starts with my camera dropping ALOT of frames and then the window becomes unresponsive and I have to close from task manager. Here's what I would do, turn off the Override Settings, set TWitch as Primary with Youtube as a secondary Output. In your Primary Output settings:

Rate Control: Constant Bitrate
Bitrate: 8000 Kbps
Key Frame Interval: 2
Preset: P5: slow (Good quality) <- This is just a good middle of the road place to start
Tuning: Ultra Low Latency
Multipass Mode: Two Passes (Full Resolution)
Profile: high
Look-ahead and Adaptive Quantization both unchecked
B-Frames: 2
Custom encoder options: <emtpy> BUT I would make a note of the one that is there in case you need to put it back

thats weird. when I uploiad the log file i see it says that i have it but when I got through my plugins in program files 64 bit, the closest thing to obs-multi-rtmp that i have is rtmp-services.pdb and rtmp-services.dll

Well.. i still have an issue with a sponsor i made and sadly from ticket nobody Is helping.. even if i have all the ID Transaction of everyone in my community my goals aint getting update.. and has been 1 week of tickets and the situation Is really starting to be frustrating 🥺
