I'm just curious how you guys use overalys (as a general question). do you make an overlay per "scene", or do you layer them. for example, I have a "base" overlay which includes my basic layout (backgrounds, titlebars, etc) that are 100% identical in all my scenes. Then I have an alerts overlay that shows.. well,, alerts. that was in OBS, I just have to have a "Scene" with base, alerts, a camara group (cam and border), and mic. if I make a change in one of my overlays, it carrys over to all of my scenes for consistency. just wondering if there is a reason not to do it this way?

i use a starting scene for the first few minutes and on that scene i leave out the on screen chat box, but have the emote explosion wall on, thats about the only different overlay i use. the starting scene works for me because it gives a moment for my other 2 bots to get in chat and register they are there. like sery bot to turn off shield and set chat settings. but all alert overlays are on all scenes, just no on screen chat for starting

That’s the equivalent of turning off the propellor on a plane mid-flight just to see what it does. I believe if you look through the Knowledgebase you’ll find information on chatbot commands. The nuke command while existent is not to be used arbitrarily as you are attempting to do

Question, new to streamelements, I joined yesterday and did a live stream last night but nothing is showing up on streamelements dashboard. It's not showing my subscribers or anything. Any ideas? Do I need to download SE.live? That's the only thing I haven't done

If you are attempting to stream to one streaming platform, but SE.Live is attempting to stream to another, please try the following:

Navigate to StreamElements menu, on top of OBS > Logout > Login

After you have logged back in navigate to File > Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Reconnect

Hey @broken hill - good point.

Moving forward we will only use the FB Creator role for pings on Facebook.

For this one we know quite a few folks have submitted support tickets on an update... So felt it was needed to make sure as many folks saw it that needed it.

To make sure SuperChat popups work properly on your YouTube channel, you should follow these steps:
