yep same. I kept getting the blank screen trying to update something with the chatbot. And chatbot commands arent working. I had issues my last stream (couple weeks ago) with alerts being hit n miss. Raid alert worked but not my subs and resubs. Was gonna do a sponsored stream tonight but with chatbot not working, it'll be kinda pointless. Not sure I trust that the system would recognize the chatbot requirement met since it's not working, nor even if it'll recognize the campaign goals being met at all. Ever since the last major update, I've lost a lot of faith in the SE stuff working. So much so that I decided to test out the new twitch alerts instead.

What Twitch outages exactly are you referring to? It's not the first time you say Twitch is having issues and/or have notified of maintenance (this was in your last company announcement), yet no official public notification was ever made from Twitch nor any other 3rd party developer has reported Twitch services outages of any kind (being myself a 3rd party dev using their services directly with no issues whatsoever)

Though I understand what you're saying, you would be incorrect in thinking that they are false excuses. I personally cannot speak onto what the issues were, because that is not my department. But I can assure you, that some (not all) of the hiccups we have had was due to Twitch outages.

I mean, it's a positive and a negative.

Now that everything's relegated to this server since the support/idea forums are shut down (Still haven't found a reason as to why), you can't just google an issue and Discord's search functionality is basically useless but it was somewhat passable when sifting through the support channels.

So now you're waiting days for a response to your ticket that could've been done in minutes. On top of that, now you have a clogged-up ticket feed with 100 of the same issue, on top of #general-chat getting filled up with what those channels were designed for.

I think the more effective solution would've been to keep those channels so that other channels (again, #general-chat) don't become the de facto place to voice those issues and kill their relevance in chatting, and then subsequently elevate someone's problem in the former support channel(s) to a ticket if it can't be easily resolved.

the "Our goal is to make the server less of a troubleshooting house, and more of a collaborative hub for creators." sentiment shared in #announcements is all well and good, but that problem has only been made worse and I don't really think that's disputable.

Hey guys this is for anyone that streams on twitch or knows the answer to this. I've recently been having a hell of a time simply just trying to make a clip on twitch. I keep getting the bs "whoops something went wrong" error message. The clip is under 60s so its not that. There's no music so its not a copy right thing. It happened to me multiple times if you are sure that you didn't put any words that are against the TOS in the title, you probably need to keep clicking, maybe even change the length a little bit. I don't think there is another solution. Sometimes I had to make one clip like 20 or 30 times to force it to work.

how behind is SE Live compared to regular OBS in terms of versions? I notice how SE live doesn't have MacOS Screen Capture (that has built in audio capture) but regular OBS does

The mac version of SE.Live hasn't been updated beyond v27 unfortunately.

Unlike the windows version which obviously is more popular/widely used the mac version entails a bit more work given it needed to bundle both the plugin and OBS together since OSX operates differentely vs how it was on windows.

We were just as confused when it happened. We thought Stream Elements was alive turns out it was someone doing commands in chat to get enough "screen shots" to make a report/ticket.
