FYI, this CSP issue has been there for 2 months already: https://discordapp.com/channels/141203863863558144/259680142459142144/965909445332840518. It's tied to the native alertbox (per my tests, when custom CSS is enabled, although can't confirm 100%). And it's obviously also present outside OBS (aka in a regular Chrome tab/in SE's editor)

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

This doesn't answer my question regarding WHY the dashboard displays ONLY 12 followers instead of 41! I've given a screenshot of that twice now.
I apologize if this comes off as rude but it's been a day now. I've been told to reset the activity feed session data then log out. That didn't fix it. I would like to know why it's not updating correctly on my dashboard.

Are you saying the follower goal cannot display the current number of followers, just the ones acquired during the stream? That doesn't explain the dashboard not displaying the correct value at all.

Hey there, the bot has been working in quite a weird way lately: some settings were gone (like levels in emote pyramids for example, only 1 lvl was left instead of 5 different as it used to be), and it also started replying to random things in chat instead of actual commands (e.g. when somebody types music it posts the text from !music command). Me and Tayajin attempted to connect a Custom Bot on his StreamElements Account.
On my Account (I tested it) it worked even though I haven't set up anything of the prerequisites listed in the activity feeds settings.
On his Account we authorized his bot account and the activity feed page didn't notice that a new account was authorized. We even tried logging out of StreamElements and login with a manipulated Authorization URL (just added the scope chat:edit manually) of the whole StreamElements platform.
He wrote a message asking a few days ago in this chat: #helpdesk-twitch message
Anyway to solve the problem and being able to set it up?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and fill out the form here: https://streamelements.com/contact with each token correctly labelled

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

ah, I guess I forgot that I have it set to send messages as me instead of as StreamElements. It isn't sending test messages through the se.live activity feed stream settings currently, I followed the steps above with the exception of setting up a custom bot name. It was working fine a few days ago but the last few days hasn't been.

so now it works when I set it to send messages as StreamElements, but not when it is set to send messages as "Malnoxx"

Custom fonts is straight up not working on the overlay editor, it will show up on OBS fine with whatever custom font I pick but it makes editing it on the actual overlay a fking nightmare

That's not what I mean, at least beforehand when I typed the custom fonts into streamelement's overlay editor it would show up in the editor, but now it does not and it means sizing of text is totally out of whack and i have to look at it on obs every time i make a change, then go back and pray my blind edit fixes whatever the size issue is then repeat

Hi, I'm having trouble making a set of alerts for a certain trigger (5 gifted subs) that all have the same % chance of activating, except one has a lower % chance to activate. Ive tried many options but none seem to work. I don't quite understand how these %'s work i guess. Can anyone help with this?

when i set the %'s to add up to 100, it sometimes defaults back to the default alert for a single sub

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

So I have a Sony A6000 and camlink but recently it's become a struggle to get the camera to work.

Before this I had a Sony A5100 and I thought the camera had like a loose pin in the cable setup (I tried multiple cables already) and got the new camera. But now the exact problem is occuring with the 6000.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Well for your overlay then you have to manually set your follower number in the session amount (since you reset it to 0) unless you're using the all time goal that someone already setup for you. The all time goal is the only one that follows your total follower amount automatically

@dry hare okay all of the virtual audio cables have exclusive mode disabled as well as my headphones, I am using the headphones to monitor all of the audio from the separate streams (Game Audio, Discord Audio, VLC Audio, and Chrome Audio). Discord, VLC and Chrome have no issue with delay when I am switching around between applications but game audio is still doing the delay thing. Looking at the audio mixer I can see that the audio from the game registers immediately on the green/yellow/red volume indicator thing after, say, clicking a button in Rocket League but I actually hear it around a second and a half after it should be. I restarted my computer and it is still doing it, I'm still poking around trying to figure it out

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hello, interesting problem when trying to activate a giveaway for the very first time. I have set up a giveaway widget on one of my overlays. I started a test giveaway during my Twitch stream today, and the giveaway appeared in my on-screen widget. However, when my chat entered !ticket to help me test the giveaway, nothing registered - no entries were logged. It was as if twitch chat and my streamelements giveaway were not fully shaking hands. I was using the streamelements website in a separate browser tab as the back-end control for my giveaway test and it picked up nobody entering !ticket in my twitch chat. Apparently I am missing some sort of connection. Streamelements did show the creation of the giveaway in the twitch chat and prompted chatters on how to enter the giveaway.

I do have loyalty turned on in my streamelements controls.

I am also gorgo2005 in streamelements and in twitch.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

i think i found the problem with media request. whenever the queue is empty and there is no backup playlist, when the first song is requested after a while, the progressing bar in the SE.LIVE mediashare window wont show up, and the video stays in "now playing" even if its finished. it only gets fixed and automated again when you click the play button for another song in queue. its a bug!

Go to the dashboard. Then to the command and switch to the advanced settings. Then under keywords just put in the word and that'll do.

However, sometimes in the docks window for media request, the video plays for a split second and than it pauses, but on stream the video keeps playing. this causes the video to not get skipped even if it has finished playing on stream because its technically paused in the docks window and so it will never trigger the next video. Are there known issues with the !quote system? In one of the streams I moderate in (ftWenn) we have about 20 quotes but today when we try to use the quote command we get the error

Quotes must be enabled and at least one quote must be added for this feature to work.

Twitch is awful for being discovered. General advice is to turn some of your gameplay into clips and publish on YouTube and/or TikTok making sure you use your Twitch name/channel link in the clip.

Hello, I'm having a technical issue or glitch. the chat bubbles stopped working in the middle of stream, no matter how many times I refresh it won't work even if i already went offline. When i type in my chat, it doesn't show up on the streamelements edit page either. Can you please help me?

Hey, has anyone made an event tracker that's scrolling horizontal instead of going vertical? If so, where's the best place to try and make one, or is there one that someone has already designed in the past? I tried to make one in stream elements, but i couldn't get the spacing right due to name sizes changing etc, so it looks weird. I created it by making an overlay that was 5000px wide x 200px, then put all the segments on it. Then put it in OBS and use the scroll feature.
I've attached a pic of it, but it does scroll across and includes all categories like, latest follower/sub/donation/bits/raids/gifters etc

I created a custom chat from streamelements overlay, and as you can modify all the parts of the code, js/html/css/data, I add some buttons to the top of the chat that in example changes the theme of the chat (to not overlap content and do text visiible depending on background) or put the option in other to disappear the messages at some seconds, and hide it completely when no messages inside

I add it as a browser source and I can interact with it without problems

but I would want to send from hotkeys in example, instructions to click a concrete button

and instead of, receive javascript events from the element that I could emit and bubble to window main HTML tag element

I hope this is the right place to put this, but I am finding an issue with my HypeCup on my twitch streams?
It's a personal cup and not one of the base ones. When I add it in stream elements as an overlay it works as it should, however when I add it to my OBS it just freezes and is never as it should be? The events do not enter the cup, and as it is in the overlay it is constantly moving like intended, yet it doesn't translate to this in my obs/on my twitch stream. No matter how many times I refresh the source/readd it the problem keeps occurring

I unfortunately have looked in there, and none of the 36 messages that have "chat" in them have an animation to scroll up. All of them have animations for entering messages, but the messages before them have no animation for being pushed up.

actually, upon closer inspection it seems that "dynamic chat bubbles" has an animation for pushing chat up. I guess I'll look through the code and try to see what causes that to happen.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
