I'm not sure if you are talking about a specific issue you are having but the set up is:

Open SE.Live/OBS > StreamElements menu > Login > Go to Settings > Stream > Service (Choose your service) > Connect to your account OR enter your stream key > Apply > Start streaming.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

So, just to make sure it's not confusing, when you go into the SE editor online, you create an overlay at 1080p. When you add widgets, you leave them at the size as you make your edits. When you add to OBS, the screen in OBS should look just like it does online.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

1. Click on your channel name at the top of the dashboard
2. Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
3. Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted

Not sure if you are having the same issue I had before, but you can try to set your audio device from default to the PC's audio device and turn off all other input devices. If you have a specific source audio you want to capture, mute all other audio inputs, and keep the preferred one enable.

Make sure your source is connected to the application window you want to capture. If you have a normal "Display Capture", you should be seeing an output of your entire screen "including what is going on in OBS". If you want to capture a a specific game screen/window, create a "Game capture" in your sources, then selected "Capture specific window" in "Mode", then select the window you want to capture in "Window". Additionally, make sure you enable your preview when editing and disable it once you start streaming.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

Correct.... they are not showing on stream. Yes...we used them Monday for stream and they have not been touched since then and are not showing. We have checked OBS.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello guys! I would like some help regarding the "!setgame" command. So every time a mod tries to set the game to "Trackmania", streamelements changes it to "Trashmania" which is a completely different game. Is this a bug?
Also, the streamer himself has no problems directly changing the game. Its the command that causes issues
Also the command works for pretty much every other game that I am aware of.

"2nd I tried to creat3 an on-screen death counter. I do have the variables set and working within the chat. I created a new overlay and tried to use Label -> Other -> Bot Counter. No matter what the actual value inside the counter is, the label always shows 0.

Hello, I've been taking a look at older messages in here about {name} / {displayName} in subscription alerts but I don't find any solution about uppercases problem. Using {name} ignores uppercases. I would like to display subscribers names correctly, with their uppercases. For example, if a user is called PeterTheMan the {user} variable shows petertheman without respecting uppercases. I've tried {displayName} and nothing happens, it does not show absolutely anything. Thank you!

I have noticed that a couple of streamers I follow who use streamelements are able to trigger their intros whenever they want to so whenever they get a raid they say let's play my intro.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello, I am in the process of activating micropayments on my Paypal business account to use with StreamElements tipping, and my understanding is the reason for using your personal Paypal for the main account and business account (w/ micropayments enabled) as secondary is because after $12 or so, it costs more to use the micropayments fee. However, Paypal now has dynamic micropayments which automatically applies the lowest fee to a payment using either the micropayments rate or standard rate. Would I be able to use my business account for both main and secondary Paypal emails on my SE tipping settings since now Paypal automatically uses the lower fee rate?
