Valve has implemented a trusted mode which does not allow OBS to hook CS:GO using Game Capture. Read more in their announcement post here https://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/2020/07/30736/.

Additionally, they have no plans on allowing OBS in trusted mode. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8835-KLXV-0292#whitelist You will need to run the game in either windowed or borderless fullscreen and use Window Capture instead.
Alternately, you can launch the game with -allow_third_party_software.

Not necessarily Twitch-related, but that's where I'm using the bot. Either way, what I'm trying to achieve is a death counter command that would work both as !death without an argument to add 1 death, or !death <number> to add the given number to the counter. I have tried ${count deaths +${1 | 1}}, but that doesn't get parsed correctly.

Anyone having issues using commands using the .live with obs? I connect it to my bot, use the commands and they work fine, then minutes later, I try using commands again, and they don't work. I get no return when using commands

If I switch over to SE, it works; if I change it back to my bot, it doesn't work. The only way to get it to start working again is to completely disconnect the bot and connect it again. I don't have cooldowns on the commands, either

Hello everyone,

i have a problem with the !setgame command. Every time when i changed the game of a stream, it doesn't change the game correctly, most the time it change it to Game.exe. it doesn't mater if i write the game name with " or without it. For me it look complete random.

Sometimes it changes the game after the 2 try correctly, sometimes after the 5 try.

The Strange thing is, when the broadcaster changes the game this way all works correct and without any problems...

any ideas?

Don't suppose it's possible to edit a command through another command like you can trick Nightbot into doing, right? Eg. I made a command called !editrank which aliases !editcom with a response of !rank My rank is $(query). <linktowebsite>. This then changes the !rank command to the "My rank is <whatuserput>. <linktowebsite>"

Only reason I'm asking is because I have a streamer who's looking at migrating from Nightbot and SLOBS to StreamElements in its entirety.

Hi everyone! I spent about 2 days making over 900 commands into stream elements. A command would be like "a wild caterpie", then stream elements would take the custom phrase and spit out information about the Pokemon.

All of the sudden my commands have stopped working alltogether, except for the !caterpie command, which it's listed under. The custom commands no longer work for any of the 900+ commands.

ANY assistance is a huge help! I'm not panicked, but I'd hate to lose all that work!

For some reason I cant edit the name of my bot on twitch/Obs. Ive set a different twitch account up as well but I cant get the option ive seen in the tutorials to set custom bot name. Any ideas? If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name

  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name

When I look into the CSS, and I scale the emotes to 1em, they look fine (but small). I guess they get adjusted to the font size, but based on the 1x version of the emote. So bigger font = blurry emotes mkhmm

⚙️ for chatbox and non-mod settings.
Open FFZ console panel > Addons > enable FFZ:Addon Pack.
Search notification in search bar and navigate to FFZ:AP section and enable.

Hello hello! I'm trying to get Sound Commands working on Twitch. I just enabled the chat bot and uploaded all my MP3s from Streamlabs Chatbot. The sounds play correctly from the Stream Store and I've added the Store Redemption to my overlay. But I can't trigger any commands from OBS or the overlay editor. Can anyone help?
