For everyone who is affected by the fields in the overlay editor being displayed incorrectly - we are looking into the issue. So far what is known - changing the browser and/or deleting cache/cookies is not working. And i can't replicate the issue on my account or other affected accounts. I require some help on the media share. I am a music streamer, and since yesterday I faced an issue of many "internal server errors" which made my viewers have to try different songs in order to request. I changed my stream location to my country lately, but I cannot undo that. Changing the country also didn't help. Is this a new issue, or is this because of the location change? So after OBS updated today all of my browser sources don't work, but anything like my cameras, monitor display and added text boxes show up. It also doesn't want me to click on any of the controls, anything in the toolbar at the top, or the audio mixer. Both scenes and sources work fine for me to click in though. For additional information the part that usually shows my current layout and my twitch alerts is just white and if I try to expand that area it just duplicates the bottom with the sources, sceens, audio mixer, etc.

Reposting again since i never received any feedback....Not sure this is the spot for this or not, but i am trying to figure out a few things with my alerts. I would like my sound alert for a sub to play for each gifted sub. Right now if someone drops 5 gifted, it only plays my alert once. is there a way to make it play 5 seperate times for each gifted? I have looked at several tutorials and none have identified a solution for me. its also very likely that i am just missing something....Thanks in advance!

You can remove the old username from there. Your new username should not be showing in there because there is no reason for that, as you are the account owner. All commands set for broadcaster will work for you the same way.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

After I sent this, another server I am in pointed that out. I was using the total and it was off by like 15, so I switched to the session and was able to update the numbers manually to my measly 12 followers 😂

Hey, any ideas why my Stream Elements leaderboard has messed up the pictures and names?
I have 2 subs that have recently (approx 4 weeks+) changed their Twitch names, but the leaderboard has updated 1 of the names, but not updated the other, and neither of their images are showing anymore. Any fix?

Also, other pages like chat stats, cheers and elements points don't show any profile pictures either.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

This is hard to diagnose without looking deeper into it. In general the browser needs resources to process the overlay, but it should not overload a modern CPU by itself unless there is broken code in a widget or a truckload of videos and other heavy sources.

How can I have a simple widget for sub count goals? Like for example: (Total Sub #) / (Goal Sub #)

In the widgets I can either have like.. total subscriber count, or the total amount of subs i've received. but not just like the current sub total.

I updated my Twitch password and also upgraded to the new version of streamelements obs all in the same day so Im not positive which caused this problem to happen. My overlays will not show up anymore. Have them on the very top, correct dimensions and all. I have even made new scenes with it as the only source and it's still invisible. If I go to look at it on the website or go to the link, it is still there and even has updated itself. How do I make it apepar back on my obs?

just had this update loop aswell, check the obs version when you open it. mine wasnt grabbing the 27.2.3 update that it wanted, it was 27.1. Manually updating obs fixed for me

I'm running the media request queue on my stream, but I'm finding loads of videos (Literally 50% or so!) that people try to add are coming up as "Internal Server Error" when they try to do it using !sr in chat. As far as I know there are no restrictions in place on my side that would disallow their selections, especially as often the workaround is to find the same video from another uploader.

I've tried every search term I can think of and couldn't find anything other than a link to this Discord server!

So, streamelements broke my OBS. My twitch stream was working great. Made a streamelements account, connected it to my twitch account, installed SE.live and added chat bot and pre made follower alerts that pop up on screen. Cool. Except now my stream glitches out half the time, with 95% dropped frames and 200 kbps bit rate. And when it does work, the VOD audio is crackled and high pitched. Tried uninstalling SE.live, uninstalling OBS and all the hidden library files and reinstalling. This thing has screwed my OBS permanently it seems.

Hello all! i am having trouble getting my custom bot name to save once i log in to the account through OBS. I enter evrything in, hit authorize, but nothing saves, so i cant even send a test message. Is there a remedy for this?

1. Right-click your OBS desktop shortcut (not the SE.Live shortcut) and navigate to Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)

So I am extremely new to streaming, and I've installed the stream elements live, and when I go to the stream elements options and attempt to add an overlay, I copy and paste but it never shows the scene. I am probably doing something novice wrong here but i cant figure it out

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/UvJcYXa

If you do not see the points after renaming, type '!rename oldusername' in the streamer's chat (if they have the command enabled).

If they don't have the command enabled, ask for help from a mod and they will manually add the points.

Hey there 😉 I hope my question is right here. I wanted to ask if I'm doin' something wrong in my random commands... I want to roll 5 "dices" and my command is:

${user} würfelt: ${random.1-6} - ${random.1-6} - ${random.1-6} - ${random.1-6} - ${random.1-6}

So it should work that each "${random.1-6}" returns a random number from 1 to 6, right? That seems to work with low numbers but it's hard to get a 6 somehow. I tried that command about 20 times and not a single 6 in there. The 5 is very rare, too. Is there a "chance" i could configure? Wanted to build a Yhatzee like game with these commands 😉

apart from that, the random variable range is [min, max), that is the minimum is included but the maximum is not. To get a number from 1 to 6 both included, it has to be ${random.1-7}

So I've been fiddling with the count and getcount variables, and I can't seem to figure out how to attach a count to individual users. For the counter itself, I've got:
${user} has said shit ${count shit +1 ${user}} times

Then for the command to see the count [!profanitycount], I've got:
${user} has said shit ${getcount shit ${user}} times. Disgusting

And it seems to be working great, until I try to find a user's count e.g. !profanitycount demiboyDolphin
and it will say the same number count no matter who the tagged user is.

Is there any way to have them be individual counters for each user?
