If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello! I have uninstalled and reinstalled StreamElements and OBS. However when I open OBS, it pops up about 5-6 Chrome tabs with Twitch main page on them. When I close all of them, there is always still one remaining and I can't find the screen. Please help! The audio just continues to play

Only suggestion I have is to set it to streamelements instead of custom bot name for now.

That'll fix it for sure at least.

Otherwise you'd need to end the stream to use the other fix.

As regards the old username in user management, you don't need to worry about it. You can even remove it from there. Your new user should not be showing in there because there is no reason for that, as you are the account owner. All commands set for broadcaster will work for you the same way.
In relation to the chat stats, did you have anything in there before changing the username?

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Yes, I think this is probably right. Is your PC on wifi? You need to have a wired connection to get very good looking streams, and I think your resolution should be lowered.

If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

So looks like most of your frame loss is due to network issue not a issue on OBS side

If you look in Dropped Frames (Network) 45% of your frame loss is from packet loss of some kind

So its a issue of your home network connecting to twitch servers somewhere

If you were to have a frame rate lost due to obs it would be reported under "Frames missed due to rendering lag" or "skipped frame due to encoding lag"

Most likely the issue of either your ISP throttling certain servers

theyll probably have you do some troubleshooting steps to help narrow down the issue.

For your ISP describe to them that your trying to stream to twitch.tv and that my software is saying im lossing frames due to some network issue and your wondering if your getting packet loss or if you are being throttled

Yeah, the camera was the only thing that was appearing on the stream, beyond that nothing, and once I ended the stream, that's when everything started working again. Hello SE helpdesk! The variation parameters for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs seem not to allow me to choose what happens if multiple of said subs are gifted. If it's a Tier 1 sub, I can set it to play a certain alert when 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, etc. are gifted to the community.

Is there a way to have a specific alert play when more than 1 Tier 2 or Tier 3 sub is gifted? Or is it currently not possible?

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hi. This is an odd issue I've been dealing with lately, but my notifications have been working perfectly for anyone who follows, subs, cheers, etc through Streamelements -- with the exception for one of my subscribers. His bit donations, resubscribe alerts, nothing seems to work.

His tips and other activities show up in my activity feed on my dashboard. Even my Kappamon pet recognizes his tips and subs. I cannot get Streamelements to play any type of alert for him, however. I'm streaming through OBS Studio.

Any insight? I haven't banned him. I haven't done anything to single this person out. I'm just baffled 😂

Hello there, is somethings well known about the Issue with OBS 27.2.1 and active SE.Live plugin that sometimes the unlog/relog the twitch account is needed? ( I´ve had that twice and one well befriended streamer had the issue to do that every time on opening OBS. We notice the need of relog because the streaminformation( the edit of the streaminfo) dock and the twitch statistic dock went missing . )

And I just recently learned that OBS doesn´t give Support to OBS with installed SE.Live plugins..

I'm trying to setup a (visual) counter on my stream using the counter widget on SE overlays. problem is, the counter (command) I have is variable, i.e. ${count "${game}_deaths"} so I can have a general count and a game specific count. When setting up the counter on the overlay, I can't seem to get it to work neither using {game_deaths} nor {Elden Ring_deaths}. any suggestions?

But what are you really trying to do? You can always link your Twitch account again and reset the goals and data session. If you were streaming somewhere else, those data are not going to be used on Twitch. Each platform acts independently.

We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin SE.Live.

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

you have 3 options; use your name for the bot, use StreamElements for the bot, or create an account for custom bot.

Using the bot as your name will allow it to use your emotes. But if you use either of the others, they will need to be a Sub in your channel to use the emotes.

Hello, I tried to troubleshoot why some subs don't appear on stream on the Alert box and Ground Control, but some just don't appear, i'm not sure why... Even on Ground Control it does not show it. I tried to reset the key and session, changed password, checked filters... Is it linked to the actual user who uses a Prime sub and does not share it with chat or something?

1. Right-click your OBS desktop shortcut (not the SE.Live shortcut) and navigate to Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)

So I have a chatter who recently changed their name on twitch and can no longer redeem points for store items (it’s saying they don’t have enough points when they do). Streamelements acknowledge that they have points due to the !points command still working and them being high up on the leaderboard. Here’s the stuff I’ve tried already
-Found their old username in the leaderboard and deleted it
-Reset their current status in the leaderboard and gave them points
-Had them use the !rename command in chat
None of this has worked; the only thing that has now changed is that their old username is nowhere found in the streamlabs system. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

The default resolution for StreamElements overlays (theme and custom) is 1920x1080. Please add them in OBS at their full resolution and use CTRL+F to fit to screen if necessary. You can then downscale your stream in OBS settings > Video if you'd like https://i.imgur.com/6bWXxjR.png

hello, you could always change the category and title of the stream with a plugin from obs. The plugin has unfortunately disappeared since the last obs 27.2.1 update and can no longer be added via docks.

I asked on the obs discord about my problem and i get this answere. Is there a problem with obs an se live?

with se.live you can go to stream settings and change titel and categorie, does that also change the title and category on twitch or is it only changed for the streamelements page?
