Hi! I have a problem with the Stream Reports that are being sent after each stream. I stopped receiving them in the past weeks and I have no idea where to find a setting or anything for it because I really miss them after each stream. Thank you in advance.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

I'm having a weird problem that I've been searching through forums for but haven't heard anyone else have. I'm trying to switch over from Streamlabs and when I try and use the overlay editor it doesn't work, and when I try and edit an existing one I get a "Oops, overlay does not exist message"

I asked my friend to try and open the same Overlay and she can, so it's not the overlay. I tried opening the overlay on the same computer, but my boyfriend's account and it works. Somehow just MY account seems to have an issue opening the overlays?

I've tried multiple computers so it's not my machine.

The issue happens with overlays from other people and if I make one myself. When I try and use the editor nothing actually shows on the screen. Hard to explain, but like if I add an alert box, there is not square or image showing where it's supposed to be. And then if I close it and try and reopen it I get the "Oops does not exist" message

It's just really strange that it isn't the overlay, it isn't the computer, it isn't my internet, it isn't the website, the issue is somehow connected to my specific account

GM, I recently changed my channel name and the user management portal is not updating my new broadcaster name to VegetasUltraEgo. I parted the bot, logged out, removed the custom bot and then re added stream elements, did the /mod command (said it already was a mod). Finally tried changing the user level to which the bot said "you can't change the level of a user with a higher level than your own". Can someone assist? This is usually cause by the text placement.
Go to your follower alert > Click on gear icon > Text Settings > Advanced and play around with top margin

There is no problem if your broadcaster's name is not appearing on user management page.
Unless you are having some problem with commands not working or something like that, you don't need to worry about it. I have many streamers I am moderator who still have the older username on management page as broadcaster, and others who don't even show up in there, like mine

Are you referring to the Chatbox widget? If you are using the default one, there is an option with a slider called "Messages fade after ** seconds", or you can check the box for "Show messages permanently"

or not, i just did as you said, logged out and then logged in again, and the session shows 52 years, and then a few seconds later it now states 2 days, but the activityfeed is empty

• I just connected to StreamElements today. Tried to import my alerts from Streamlabs. "Overlay does not exist" error.
• Try to create my own overlay. No widgets of any kind show up in the editor. Nothing visual or selectable appears at all.
• Selecting one of the premade templates OR attempting to go back to any previously created overlays gives me the "Overlay does not exist" error.

I've restarted my PC, I've logged out of StreamElements and logged back in, and I'm not sure what else I need to do. Screencaps to follow.

Am I mistaken? Is there any way for the StreamElements bot - either via timer or custom chat command, to send text that becomes a channel emote? I'm guessing that because the bot is not a subscriber, on an account like mine which is an affiliate account without follower emotes (subscriber or cheer only), the bot's moderator status is not allowed to send emotes, so they only appear as text strings. Is this correct? Are there solutions short of paying for a subscription (to Twitch) for the bot?

I set everything up nicely at Streamelements and it worked. The chatbot was muted for a few days and then switched on again. Unfortunately my commands no longer work. "follow" works, "uptime" "watchtime" doesn't. I have to reset my individual commands so that they work again. But the links like Twitter are only displayed as asterisks ***.

I believe you need to request to have your account deleted and then recreate it. There was an issue with account creation previously which caused the issue you are seeing.

Im using OBS with SE Extension, I add the SE activity feed, then the setting and add custom bot name. I log in, authorize it but when it goes back its not letting me send a test message with the bot. i have SE and the bot as mods but its not connecting. Im not sure what else to do!

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hi! Both me and my editor are encountering an issue where we can not, in any instance, update the sub alert image/video in the alert box. We've exited out and also cleared caches and the preview on the left side reflects the correct image, but when testing, it shows the default. We're not having this issue on any other alerts (so far). You have to have the elgato game capture software open and in the background. Then make sure your desktop audio is being captured in obs. Make sure the game audio is not muted through the elgato software.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.
