The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello, I have my alerts properly set on SE and it all works out great when testing, but today I asked a friend to follow me and the alert didn't show up. It's not the first time that happens and the strange thing is that if I go to the activity feed and ask it to play the event again it works, but when I'm live it doesn't. Already checked size, links and settings, but I can't seem to make it work and I'm a little restricted on testing it because I'm new and don't get followers on a regular basis. Can someone help me please?

I'm having issues with the emote wall portion of kappagen. The emote wall will not show the emotes from people. I thought it was "never show" at first but we did tests. If you send a message again within a certain time frame it will show the emotes from the second message (even if they are different). I have it set to Show All and Unlimited Emojis. If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

My issue with shutting down source is there is a noticeable delay between when the scene changes vs when the source loads

That’s because your download speed is affecting how fast it loads. Each overlay is a browser source and when you shut it down it has to be reloaded. Using a stinger or transition of about 1500ms length will offset that load.

Hello, my alerts are still not working (even after having my account "refreshed" yesterday by a SE staff member). Some of my alerts work well like raid/host, some are partially viewable in emulation (I see the outline of the image but not the actual image), and some don't even show in emulation. Also this includes Tiltify alerts on a separate widget and overlay, even though I thought I integrated the Tiltify account correctly. Can someone help?

I have been trying to setup a custom bot name for awhile and I've tried this at least a dozen times. I've made sure that I've done everything required to unlock it, but it just sets it to "StreamElements" in chat and I can't do a test message. What am I doing wrong?

1. Right-click your OBS desktop shortcut (not the OBS.Live shortcut) and navigate to Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)

3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

When I use a widget to show my top tipper it shows "Rolow-£50", despite Rolow having tipped £35 according to my dashboard, and my actual top being £50 from Yeetopian. This has been the case with several different widgets, so I assume the data isn't being read from the same place as my dashboard?

We do a bunch of giveaways and have an issue with people trying to scam with multiple accounts. Is there a way to remove individual entries to giveaways in SE when we know that it's fraudulent?

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again
