and there don't seem to be an option to change this exact string because I guess it's hardcoded but maybe there is a way?

7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

These two widgets count the top tipper in the session and the sub count for this session. The session resets a little while after you stop streaming. I reset it manually for you now, so when you go live and people start subscribing and tipping you'll see these two tips populate.

4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Prime Gaming (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For Prime Gaming, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Wanted to offer a suggestion, or maybe it's a feature request? It would be great if SE gave streamers the ability to wait X number of seconds (X chosen by the streamer) before firing a new follow alert -- due to the rash of follow-bots that come into a stream and quickly follow/unfollow (which still triggers the alert into displaying their name on screen and/or in chat as a "new follower"). If the SE system simply waited X number of seconds, then did a check to see if the total follower count had changed, it would know that that supposed "new" follower doesn't actually exist, and the system wouldn't trigger any public recognition of these annoying bots.

Hey guys! I'm a new streamer and I'm having a little trouble with OBS. My OBS had an update like a day or two ago and it no longer has the "browser source" option. So I can't add my widgets?? Can someone please explain how I can add my widgets back to my streams?
Because I had them already on there, but after the update I noticed they weren't working and so I tried to add them gain but there was no option for it 😦

The browser source is a plugin that is installed together with OBS. If an update fails, it can be damaged. We would recommend a full reinstall and going back to the stable version 27.0.1

We have a "workaround" for that case - our alerts can be paused or skipped, also via hotkeys or the Elgato Streamdeck, this should help with the unwanted followbot alert spam.

So if you do not wish to turn off the follower alert, you can use those functions to skip them.

Near as I can tell, I think I might have accidentally banned the official StreamElements bot, as I was sifting through the bots that were spamming certain channels with nonsense. I can't be absolutely sure of it, but I'd wager that one of the spam bots was named something similar.

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.

Someone I mod for has to change the bot name to the default because otherwise it won't work. the bot works fine when the stream is offline.
They use Ground Control and Obs.Live (we already tried Part channel > Join channel again )
The bot works fine until they change to a custom name.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

So,The two custom overlays I have when I watched a video I followed pretty much what they did. I was able to create a new overlay and have words appear, though it wasnt really that centered but it was still something. Then when I took the link and posted it in browser source and tested the notifications, it would just say "quequed" but nothing would happen. If I used twitch's Alerts it would appear but not with the icon I chose because it was a default.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Currently this is not available. We are looking into the possibility to start/end giveaways from the chat, but currently the best workaround is to have a moderator with access who can run those things for you, so you do not have to bother about alt-tabbing etc.

That depends on your widget. If you use the subscriber goal, you can set the amounts manually. If you use a session widget - with the session reset the data goes to 0.

Thanks for the reply. This is for a company's Twitch account that has 3 influencers stream on the channel once a week. If there was some way to allow them to use our streameleements dashboard without giving them login details for the twitch account, it would be a good workaround.

Hello! good morning, I seem to have a problem with the overlay editor... this problem started maybe about a month ago, but haven't seen anyone talk about it.
The problem is that in the overlay editor sources seem to go up out of their "guide-line-boxes" which makes editing basically impossible.

Nope sadly that did not work, the overlay is in it's good place for about 1 second and then jumps up out of the boxes again. It seems like only the video material does this, images and text stay correct.

Hey team, I changed the display name of the twitch account that uses my custom bot account. I noticed the bot was posting in my main account so I reconnected the custom bot account and now any command is double posting. Once as the custom bot name, and once from my main account. I've reset session data, tried removing custom bot account and reconnect and that hasn't worked.

Working with chat bot, I have change my Twitch username three times and the two older usernames are in user management section as broadcaster, s_w_a_t_777 and swat___777. My new username is smilemoregamer. I tried the !level OldUsername 100 but got the error you cant change the level of a user with a higher level than your own. Any way to remove the old usernames? She doesn't use obs.live. Is it a requirement? I wouldn't think so since SLOBS has browser sources anyways. Any ideas?

Hi. The show on stream button might be related to your access level. Not everything is accessable by the moderators/editors.
And OBS.Live is not needed for it to work.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.
