• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hi! So I started multistreaming with Mobcrush. But i want to use the same overlay on all platforms. Now i do have to make some adjustments. For instance i have a progress bar with followers and everything, but this is solely for twitch.
I would like to know how to get a counter/label of all platforms. Can i do this in one overlay or do i have to make one for every platform? In my case twitch/youtube/facebook

oh..and i just cant seem to connect my youtube channel to my twitch channel and vice versa. I have to login separately

yes, the current name should not show up there. the previous name showing there was a bug that we fixed by setting that name to a low level and reset your name, after the bot rejoin

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@foggy heart seemed to help, but we noticed another thing, we tried to auth using "set custom bot name" and then login through twitch to auth it , but it just won't show that custom bot we can only see streamelements and "amyluna12tweirdo" in the list and not the actual botname we authed with (we tried multiple times).. I looked at my obs setup and it has my custom bot name in the list and I have selected that for use.. do you have any idea what the difference could be?

There's something else you can try, one moment

1. Right-click on your OBS desktop shortcut and open the Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

When someone raids you, Twitch sends both Raid and Host alerts at the same time

unfortunately, Twitch can send the host event before the raid event, so our backend catches the host event and then the raid event shows up

so this will trigger the host alert first and ignore the raid alert

so now the host with 1 view, are not working, and the raid will triger the host animation. should i change the raid animation in the host alert? is that the only way now?

It does happen, though, the difference between the 2 events is a fraction of a second and we can't control which shows first, as that is how we interpret the incoming events

Basically, twitch sends both events at the same time - the difference is, that there is like a 0.00001 second delay between each event or something like that.
Sometimes when someone raids a channel, the Host event is placed before the raid event in the API flow, so we get the host event before the raid event.

In the past, we've had a different issue with those events where we trigger both the host and raid events in the alert widgets - there were a lot of complaints about it so we decided that, if we receive the host event before the raid event, we play the host alert but ignore the raid alert. Vise versa applies as well.

Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

1. Click on your channel name at the top of the dashboard
2. Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
3. Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted

Hey all,
I'm an xbox series x streamer who used a elgato HD60s to PC through OBS to stream to twitch.
Yesterday for no reason my game chat stopped broadcasting to stream, the game play can still be heard on stream so my viewers couldn't hear other team mates/hot mics.
If I go into a party chat they can hear them.

I'll be really specific, I can login to my own, but when either i go to my own dashboard or the dashboard of the person i manage, it just goes to the front page. There's an option to go to my dashboard, which just reloads the page. I have tried it on Google Chrome and microsoft edge and on incognito and nothing has worked so far, it was the same reaction.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hello. I have an alert overlay that was previously working but after I changed the video resolution, its not working. Its set as 1920 x 1080 and centered the widget. Its also at the top of my OBS sources as a browser and the address is correct. Not sure why it stopped working

also when I emulate, the video blurry and has a white filter

You can use the chat bot's banned words filter and tipping settings -> tip moderation to block any name or word you want. In this case you can add "hoss*" to the filters. The asterix works as a "catch everything after the word".

In order to block anything from hoss (or any other bot follower wave) appearing, you can setup the tipping moderation (this affects all alerts - follows, subs, cheers, tips, hosts, raids and their messages) and the banned words filter.
You can find the tipping moderation settings here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/tipping-settings -> tipping settings -> tip moderation
You can find the banned words filter here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot-spam-filters -> banned words -> when you add a new group, you can specify it to check the username rather then message.
In both locations make sure to add hoss* - the asterix works as as "catch the word + everything after it".

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

bots will get removed from your twitch account after a while, if someone follows you and then unfollows you or its removed we will still show it, we have no way of knowing if someone is no longer your follower since we dont get those events

If you're only rocking with a single screen, I think the easiest way to see both your events and chat is to run the StreamElements app in companion mode on your Android phone.

There are other solutions but I think that's the easiest.

Hey, I'm having issues logging in and accessing my Dashboard at streamelements.com . It'll let me log in but any click on "My Dashboard" just loops me back to the same page and it doesn't work in several browsers. I've tried clearing cookies in which case it'll log me in to the dashboard but then immediately kick me back to the same base page. Any ideas?

Hey there! My bot doesn't respond when I try to write one of the chat commands. I did a log out and cleaned my cache and logged in again and it didn't work, as well I tried with part/join channel. but as well no luck

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Unfortunately, with your name change, as far as I'm tracking, it doesn't update in other channels, I use too many commas, but yeah, just your personal channel chatstats.

Verify it is disabled then because I am seeing it enabled.
