It really depends on your stream focus. For example, gaming streams usually have commands for computer setup, like !webcam, !mouse, !keyboard, etc. Just chatting would have some most used questions like your age, if you are graduated, more personal questions. But that really depends on your case. The best thing is to check the streams which are similar to yours and see which commands they use to inspire you. (but this is going out of the scope of this channel)

I ran into a problem regarding the custom bot name. I have always used it with my own bot account (DiositoBOT) but it got disconnected two days ago and now it doesn't connect anymore.
I click the "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT", I log in with my bot account, I authorize the user to be in my channel and that's it, it closes the log in window and nothing happens

The StreamElements YouTube has a lot of tutorials. Setup depends on your streaming software. In generic terms you need to add a browser source and paste the overlay's link in that source.

Regular is a custom role you set manually the ones will be part of it. It is useful to create personalised commands that you don't want to set to everyone.
The same applies to Super Moderator role, you can set commands that you don't all Moderators to run, but only to specific moderators

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to make a chat command that disabled other chat commands or made them mod-use only. For instance, a friend of mine who streams recently had some people invade her channel and were posting very inappropriate messages and content on her socials and in chat. A way outside of OBS to do it, I don't know of any. You can make hotkeys, if that helps. Via the "Hotkeys" section of the settings.

I'm playing EFT, my specs are as following... i9 9900k, RTX 2060 Super, 32 gb ram 3200hz, 850 Watt PSU, Asus z370 Prime A MB, I use a 1440p monitor at 165 hz, in OBS my Base Res is set to 1920x1080 and Downscale is also 1080p, I am using Nvenc Encoding although I tried x264 and OBS says everything is stable and there is no frame drop but every time I start to move in game the frames go down to 15-20 fps. I don't know why there shouldn't be any issues

EFT its a very demanding game, especially if you're streaming at 1080p, I suggest lowering your res 1664x936 and lower ingame settings as much as you can as well

Hi, I'm currently setting up my stream overlay and I added follower and sub goals. Both numbers are incorrect for starting number, and I have already tried to go into the widget data and manually changed it. It changed once and was still wrong. It seems like the Overlay loads the filters when it is loaded. So you only need to refresh the overlay when the filter is changed while overlay is active

In advanced text settings, check out the margins field. You can change the position of the text by changing the margins.

You can still use PayPal, but they will still show your name. PayPal doesn't work "with" SE.Pay. It is it's own system and always a direct connection from PayPal (Viewer) to PayPal (Streamer) without anything (SE.Pay) in between. If you wanna hide your name, you either have to upgrade your PayPal account to a business one or remove the PayPal option completely.

So had an idea to create an "overlay" that I'd bring up on the browser on my phone. This way, I can put chat there & alerts. Issue I'm seeing however, while chat will pop up in real time, for some strange reason alerts won't play.

I'm not sure if that's possible, if they tipped under two different names you can try going back in your tipping history and manually updating the username for each donation but there's no easy way of merging that data as far as I know

Hey everyone. I've been having issues going live on Twitch. OBS says I'm sending the data, I'm not in "bandwidth test mode", I've tried resetting my stream key.
Nothing seems to work. I've had this issue before and it just resolved itself....now it's back

Hello -> i have a question about overlay sharing :
On some website we can download overlays (like "nerdordie"), and it's basicaly a link with this pattern : dashboard/overlays/share/{overlay.id}.
But, when i try to do put my overlay ID instead, it didnt work. Basically, when my friend open the link, he got disconnected from StreamElements website (and he didnt get the overlay).
