WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

It's an internal setting on our end, if you stream consistantly, it should always arrive to the same address that's connected to your streaming account.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I can't figure out why when creating a timer then setting it and eventually coming back to ADD extra time to it, the timer updates in the StreamElements overlay but NOT in OBS/On stream. Any idea why this happens or what needs to be done to fix this?

Basically my only choice if I want to edit the countdown timer in any way (remove time or add time) is to completely delete it and create a brand new one.

Yeah so refreshing the source like that will make force the timer to change to the new value I set it to.

the timers will not be synced unless using countdown to Date; when selecting the 'to time' the source will start a countdown from when that source is loaded. Normally a widget will "auto-refresh" on the save, but this one does not send a refresh notice unless changing the "Date" and saving

Right now for example timer on the overlay says 8:40. I choose 10 mins, save. Now I see 9:59 on the overlay. OBS no change at all. Go over to OBS, hit refresh like you say, now OBS shows 9:59.

So it works if I immediately refresh the source over in OBS RIGHT AFTER making the change in the overlay.

yup; if you set it to 10 minutes; then it is when that 'source' is loaded. So it will start when OBS loads the timer.

if you load OBS 5 minutes after the website you will be off by 5 minutes

Yeah this is something that never was an issue before until I came across it today when I needed to add an extra 10 minutes onto a timer that already had been running for like 5-6 minutes.

Never really added time onto the timer before until today then found out it works like this.

Hey everyone! I ran my first giveaway today on my Twitch stream, and the !ticket 1 and !enter 1 commands were not working. I was able to tell the viewers to use the streamelements link to enter the giveaway on the website, but in the future I'd like to be able to use chat to run giveaways. Any ideas?

Our Dashboard and Overlay Editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

I have an interesting issue, and maybe it's not an issue, but I'll ask it anyway (it's actually 2 things)

1. I've gone through and setup my alerts on where I want them to appear on the screen (both in my dashboard and in OBS/OBS.Live), but when they trigger, they appear off to the side and aren't shown fully like they should be. Is this a display issue within OBS since that is what I have up and running when I see them?

2. I've followed all the directions for Streamelements to be my chatbot, but none of my automated messages are showing up, my timers aren't triggered or anything. Am I missing something? They used to work, but have stopped (Yes, I followed the directions that it says should be done and it's still not working). I've made streamelements a mod in my channel, and it even timed a user out automatically for posting a link for buying followers/viewers (which is what it should be doing), but none of my chat messages are showing up that should be showing up according to the rules I have set for them. I even reset all the rules but it's not working). They used to work without a problem.

Hey @merry apex, I'm still not sure why that would fix your bot... Isn't it better if we take steps to fix it directly? Especially seeing as yesterday your bot was working.
Anyway, we can't reset your account, but you can delete it yourself here if you really want to (again, I recommend against it): https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
Then you can sign up again with your Twitch and set everything up from scratch.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

The widget is seemingly setup correctly, as it works for myself and other users, but one particular viewer has this issue. It does not work whether they redeem it through the chat command, nor the store link. The chat command does say they successfully redeemed the sound effect, but nothing plays. If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

1. Click on your channel name at the top of the dashboard
2. Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
3. Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted

Strugglin with these bot stuffs. I also set my bot to moderator and using commands from the bot but it doesn't work 😦 (Even if command is set to Everyone it only works if the command comes from me directly)

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about it or Plarium, so its best for the user to use a PC to make a new account with a different email and then complete the tutorial. Once done, then the can move to Mobile

Ok so I just tried one last thing and I think it worked thank you so much though

Ok so I closed the account and then logged back in but now it still has the same thing

I click join but it says successfully joined but I can still click join again so I do and then it just says failed to join bot and this is the same problem as last time. I really do not care what you guys do to the account but please fix it. I hav had this for way too long and nobody can help me. I even closed my account then recreated it again so please anybody do anything that fixes it.
