That is due to how the obs.live plug-in operates. To ensure you’re on twitch, check your obs settings and then make sure you’re logged in with your Twitch account under the streamelements menu. Anytime you switch platforms that you’re streaming to you need to authenticate under the streamelements menu to that platform by signing out and signing in with that platform

Fun fact, it actually is Twitch related. Something happened on the server side around 7-730pm Pacific time. Clunky, robotic, glitchy audio. I literally spent hours troubleshooting and testing all things audio. Seems that the current fix is turning off the "Twicth VOD" track until the issue is resolved. I can confirm this worked for me...at 2am...long after I should have been ending my stream to go to bed for work in the morning lol

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Yes - both alerts widgets need to share the same settings and variations.
One of the alert widgets only needs to have the settings, but not sound and assets in order to not overlap.
Example:
Widget A should show 6 month subs
Widget B should show 12 month subs

Both widgets share the 6 and 12 month variation but:

• Widget A does not show any image or sound when 12 month sub is being played
• Widget b does not show any image or sound when 6 month sub is being played.

Custom fonts are not applying correctly to overlays. Shows fine on overlay editor, but once added as browser source to lightstream or OBS, the font disappears.

for the past 3 months, everytime i go live, obs goes live but it doesnt show live on twitch. i have to constantly spam a bunch of random combinations of logging out and relogging in, reauthenticating, restarting the app, changing the serving, relogging into the streamelements side over and over and over again EVERYTIME i try to go live. it takes me roughly 30-45 minutes each attempt to finally actually streaming. the main thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to be authenticated with your twitch account in obs settings > stream as well as logged into your twitch account from the streamelements menu

Hi. I'm setting up SE for a friend and just finished creating a custom bot name for him. Everything works while I'm logged into OBS.live but when I exit live it stops working within a few minutes. Is there any way for me to make that permanent for him or does he need to install live and activate the bot in live just like I did? Hi! I have a problem with OBS that might be affected by streamelements D:
Sometimes, duting the stream, OBS goes to 0kb/s for some seconds and then back at 20.000k and slowly turns back to normal. It's not a connection problem, been testing it for months, it might be something CPU related, and looking at the logs I found tons of streamelements errors like this:

Oh, yes I'm using some for followers, subs etc that I found somewhere long ago, a file that wen used, the widget gets into streamelements web and I can edit it inside

the emote error I have no clue, since the custom widget just shows the last follower, last sub etc (it can list up to 5 of them)

I'll check it then tonight, thanks!

I think these errors are spamming my CPU until it just explodes for a couple of seconds, and sometimes it even ruins my audio
