I want to create a widget for a daily sub goal. When I Create blank overlay → Add widget → Labels → Subscribers → Goals → Subscriber Goal, the widget shows my total subs and not 0 where I want to start. I have performed Reset Session on my activity feed page with the same result.

Hi, I'm having an issue with StreamElement tracking my followers.
On the SE dashboard, followers are not listed (no followers on the graph or in the events). The follower alert doesn't trigger either when live. Other alerts and events run fine, and if I mock a follower event through the overlay editor, it triggers correctly.
It seems SE don't pick up "real" follower event.

Hi there guys! So, is there any way to make the store message alerts in the same alertbox than my followers, bits or anything ? I know that there is a specific alertbox for store items, but the problem is when someone redeem a store item with a message and another person at the same time give a sub or bits, the messages overlap and everything turns into caos haha

Hi, I'm so happy I found this server!
I'm currently tweaking my kappagen overlay for my stream (specifically emotesplosions) where I've had access to the global twitch emotes + my own emotes, but it seems like a ton of the emotes have been removed? These are all the one available to me right now. I've tried creating a new overlay and tweaking every setting but nothing seems to be helping. Has it been changed?

  1. Watchtime never worked to me, it always says 0 seconds or something like this... any solution?
  2. Kappagen stopped working. It always has been working regularly but now, somehow, is not working anymore. I thought the problem was the browser source (because I use Streamelements importing it into SLOBS as a browser source), but the Awesome Shoutout is working. Also, the EMULATE button inside the Streamelements overlay is not working anymore! I try to emulate every event with the Kappagen emotesplosion but nothing show up. I didn't change ANYTHING...

Hi everyone! Sorry I've just joined so sorry if this has been asked before! I'm an editor on a friends streamelements and a supermod on their Twitch. I set up some commands eg: discord, etc but only myself and the streamer can use the command/ use the discord link - everyone else says the link is deleted (Already changed the limit and to never change on discord already) and the other commands don't come back saying anything to them? Any help would be appreciated!

@lapis solstice Valve has implemented a trusted mode which does not allow OBS to hook CS:GO using Game Capture. Read more in their announcement post here https://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/2020/07/30736/.

Additionally, they have no plans on allowing OBS in trusted mode.

You will need to run the game in either windowed or borderless fullscreen and use Window Capture instead.

Hello again haha. Last night SE was being a bit awkward with raffles, and bingo wasnt working at all. After the raffle countdown it would say "no one has joined" even though hundreds of people had.. Now today the raffles are fixed but bingo is still giving this error... Any advice? I have parted and reconnected SE, I have turned the module off and back on again

Hello there 🙂 I've run into some issues I don't seem to be able to solve myself so hoping for some help here 🙂

  1. I've activated TTS, but when i emulate a cheer - nothing. I have sounds and gifs for cheers, could that be an issue? Or will it nood read the text when emulating only in live stream?

  2. I've created a timed !raffle using the bot timers. It worked my first stream and the raffle started. Now when the bot timer do "!raffle" nothing happends and I have to start them manually. Any ideas on that?

I'm using OBS studio if that matters.

@severe wharf If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hey all, new here and I am just transitioning to SE. Probably a dumb question so, sorry in advance! In StreamLabs I used the Event List feature and I just found a file on GitHub for SE that does pretty much the same thing. But Im unsure how to import the files to SE. How can I do this? And why is Ground Control outdated? The reason I don't like OBS.Live is that I don't like that ground control and twitch chat are all crammed in the OBS frame. I like them all as separate windows

Oh, i remember why I can't use OBS.Live. The Twitch chat is not able to be zoomed in, so it's much too small for me to read. Where on Chrome, I can zoom in and out as needed. Unless there's a way to do this within OBS Live

To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@wispy birch If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hi guys, i recently switched to vanilla OBS and i'm using the streamelements activity feed as a dock to keep track of alerts. Yesterday it worked perfectly but today it looks a little different. It no longer shows viewer count and it doesnt not have the menu button that allows me to change stream title and things like that. I also cannot reaize the alerts. The alerts are stilo working as far as I can tell but I really would like to be able to see view count while live too. Any help is appreciated.

If you have popped out the activity feed from the dashboard and added it as a custom dock in OBS

that won't have the viewer count or the stream title/game options

but if you say you've seen those options, then you most likely have obs.live installed so click on "Streamelements" on top -> obs.live docks -> activity feed

I know this is silly to disagree with an expert or developer but I promise you I am not using obs live and i had those buttons yesterday using the popout activity feed as a dock. I found it very bizarre that it changed for seemingly no reason today. Is there any way it could have glitched and not be loading those parts of the dock?

I think i kind of got it. In the custom browser dock url there is "activitiestooobar=false" i set that to true and now the viewer count and resize slider are there but the top menu button is still absent

@icy ledge The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

  • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

Hello All. Kappagen is not allowing me to use my channels emotes for the emotesplosion. currently have the problem that the custom bot name is not working for me anymore. Tried to logout and in already, reauthorized streamelements and reinstalled OBS.Live. But for some reason OBS.Live just won't connect to the authorized Bot account. Any idea for a solution?
