hey, is there anyone here using Soundtrack by Twitch together with Virtual Audio Cable?
I got an issue when setting it up. I want Soundtrack to be on a single track, so I set output on windows sound settings to a VAC. Then I set a recording device source with that VAC on OBS. But when I restart OBS and Soundtrack by Twitch App suddenly it doesn't work anymore. It seems like the output from Soundtrack is set to Standard and I need to set it again to my VAC... Everytime.....

Hey Guys, ic have a little problem...
i wanted to use my Alerts from streamelements in OBS.Live. everything works fine... but i only hear the sound and not the Animation and the text which should pop up too.
i try'd everything already with new log in and disconnect streamelement from Twitch, try to put the Link new in the URL and reload the cache... nothing work.
i have my Alerts on top of the Game Screen so it should be showed over my Stream.

I have a question, is it possible to trigger a custom alert via a chat command?
In Sweden we have a app which allows you to send money without any fee's via your cellphone, the closest service we have that can trigger the alerts takes around 30-40% commission on it and that does not feel great.

if you can confirm and provide proof that once you uninstall OBS.Live your mic suddenly work as you'd want it to - we'll be able to proceed with investigating why
as of now it just seems like you'll need to play around with your settings and setup to make sure your mic picks up what you want it to

@chilly nexus If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

for your alertbox I'd suggest going over your settings and making sure it's done properly

hi there i am a mod for someone and there is an issue that started happening a few weeks ago every time someone gifts multiple subs it plays the variation for group subs saying X gifted x amount of subs to community then it goes through and plays each sub individually so if someone gifted 20 subs for examples plays the 20 sub one then goes through all 20 subs individually how do we make it so it only plays the group one and not the individual one

I tried some configs here and for some emotes they just don't trigger the ammount specified.
I tried !kappagen <3 100 and just 3 appeared. I believe is has something to do with the name of the emote, but I'm not sure. Because when I tried !kappagen :) 100, all 100 smile emotes appeared on the screen

Is there a spam limit that makes SE bot stop posting messages in the chat if it posts too much?

I had a thing happen today at a live show with 500+ viewers, all using a command. And everything was fine, but then suddenly the bot stops responding and the resumes the responses a couple of seconds later. Is it some sort of "spam protection" to make sure that the SE bot doesn't flod the chat? or

Btw i had no cooldown or global cooldown on the command.

Is there a limit to how many messages the bot can send every second / minute? please tag me in the response ty ❤️

not sure but if the bot is modded and the command doesn't have a cooldown then it should be pretty responsive but it may happen that the bot lags behind all the responses, since it can't keep up pretty much

Also, the streamelements activity isnt showing who followed me, and i have the filter for follower turned on. It is only showing Raids and Host. Hi all.
Who know what are the required steps for making timed messages work?
When a user is following the channel I can see that streamelements publish it in the chat so the bot has permissions to write to chat.
I have created a timed message every 30 minutes but it doesn't execute.
I had a 6 hours stream today and the timed message never executed.
I made sure it's on
Checked online interval to 30 min
offline interval is off
chat lines 5

@slow shoal If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@severe ridge If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I’m having an issue with streamelements with donations popping up on stream. I have been through the settings many times but I just don’t know what to do. I have received the money from donos but it hasn’t popped up. Other alerts like follows, subs etc pop up. It’s just the donos. Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Account Merging - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, are you trying to setup follower alerts? if so, you just need to add the alerts to your SE overlay and put that URL into OBS

Streamelements bot on the chat , is not giving any notifications, it doesn't respond to any !commands, also not moderating any words, i have ''parted'' and made him join and still not doing anything, i can see him as a moderator on users

@red gull If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Is there currently a problem with elements ? Points don't work, new redeems don't work, watchtime keeps saying 0.. on multiple channels for a few days now

To my channel only the redeem bug. But on other channels that setup elements a few days ago, no one is earning points, and the bot its not recording watchtime

To enable the loyalty system, make sure 'Loyalty enabled' is on - https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty. It doesn't require you to use OBS.Live to function - but OBS.Live installs right ontop of your current OBS and makes managing everything for your stream a lot easier!

You have the tip moderation enabled here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/tipping-settings > Tip Settings > Tip Moderation
And also make sure that the tip when through correctly on bynogame cause we only see the alert once the connection is correctly made and bynogame trigger the alert on our end

I noticed that the subscriber goal only counts accumulated subs, is there any way to have it update daily to the current amount of subs? We've just been going through and changing the widget data manually to match daily with the current amount

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.
