In my activity feed on streamelements doesnt display cheers from twitch. also alert doesnt working. alerts for donates and follows working and emulate alert working too. Can anyone help me? I change my twitch name yesterday. Log out and log in to my acc - no change

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@supple dagger if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

So my GroundControl isn't showing my Tips. i got three last night, alerts went off in OBS but nothing shows up in the GroundControl list. haven't changed my twitch name or anything, the Alpha widget hasn't updated. i haven't changed tip pages from the first donation which worked fine.

Unfortunately there isn't a way really beyond that as the only method we had available was shutdown by twitch.

There's a way to see when their account was created but beyond that there's no way to determine if that actually was their account.

Has anyone ever experienced severe lag/delays whilst working on overlays within stream elements? Have been making a custom alert for a friend and upon working on it there would be 2-3 delays between pressing navigation buttons. Also, after sending him the finished alert, all of the alerts are now out of sync - timing completely off. It's a custom alert made with numerous webm files and quite a few variants per alert

@wheat cedar If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I'm new to StreamElements and I accidentally separated my Twitch account from my other Streaming Platforms. It has it's own account, so how do I delete the account then add it to the primary account I'm wanting to use?

I've went through the "Delete The Account" process but it keeps telling me my username is wrong. I used the twitch name but it won't work.

Account Merging - Please note:

  • Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
  • Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
  • Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

When I stream and someone requests a song, I have to hit play when the video comes up. It plays the music but as soon as I click show on stream (chat wants the video on stream) the sound stops for both me and the stream and all we see is the video.
PC
A little different with sound files, when someone types a command to play the sound, the chat hears it but I don't.
It is complicated but I think it has all to do with my mixer settings in OBS

@low bay If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello, I’ve been having huge fps drops in game when obs is open (doesn’t even have to be streaming, just having the program open) I would go from 120fps in warzone to 70. I’ve narrowed it down to the browser sources from stream elements. If I create a new scene collection in obs with just game capture, the fps drop goes away. Anyway to fix this?   1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I would like to use my own video as an alert, then have the new Follower/Sub/Whatever name show up over the video (there's an option for that) but none of the text shows up. I've seen people sharing their overlays by providing a link that has something like overlay/share in it. It could be really useful for me, but couldn't find the way to actually do it.

Have a question whenever someone is available. I have my Donations set up and have people donating, but my alerts arent going off. Every other alert works just fine, but no idea when someone donates...Also it isnt reporting to my Dono Goal either...Any help?

if donos don't show in the AF + rev history that means the transaction wasn't successful
they won't trigger alerts in that case, too

if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

cuz even if the tip is held by paypal we see it as a successful transaction and it will trigger alerts

Yes it is in my account and i immediately got an email stating that the transaction was successful too. Which is why Im confused : /

Ok is anyone able to maybe walk me thru setting it up? My understanding was, under my Donation button, under "About me" on my Twitch page, I was suppose to put my Paypal.Me link. Which when clicked on directly takes you to the tip page for Pay pal, they leave a tip, Notification goes off. I must be missing something?

what link did you set in your tipping panel?

go to your dashboard and setup your tipping

it's on the left side, 'tipping setting'

in there, on the top right, navigate to the tipping settings tab

and put in the email you're logging into your paypal with

then, under 'tip panel setup' you'll have your SE tipping link

Hi, i need some help. the commands in the stream elements store which are setup for subs only dont work for subs. stream elements says they are not subbed when they are. is this a known issue?
