• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

I have a very strange situation, that while I have opened Window capture of chrome and I wish to hidden it again it freezes all my OBS. >.< It was only happened with Nightbot tab open after rolling the giveaway. (bad timing ever) So I have to end stream, force down it and then restart everything. 😱
I wish to use StreamElementsGiveaway system, but I wish not to use tickets. So I wonder if this is a Chrome- Windowcapture problem, or Nightbot.

So, my problem is that I put a custom command on my StreamElements Bot. I want this command to be a counter to whenever I do something stupid. For example, I miss a sniper shot on Fortnite, then somebody writes the command !physics, and everyone could see how many times I missed a shot. I did everything right, except by the part that everyone could see it, the counting only appears individually. I hope it is understandable, if not, please tell me and I can describe it more, thanks for helping!

Hey guys, I'm having a super odd problem:

On Friday, my alerts started breaking my stream. Prior to this my alerts never had issues, but now they are breaking my framerate awfully. I have changed NOTHING and have even made local changes to some media file sizes I have in OBS to reduce CPU and memory load.

NOTHING seems to help. It's really upsetting because now even a follow alert breaks my framerate. Has anyone else had this issue / does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello! Watchtime does not work for my viewers. I just added the bot last week.

@lone rock 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Any reason you're logging into SE with the bot account? It's not required for the custom name to work.

The only benefits of merging is swapping between them a little faster and copying overlay designs, and unless you're looking to do test streams on your bot account, there's no particular reason you'd need to.

A bot account won't have any different or special settings.

The bot settings are still controlled by your normal account.

2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@earnest lantern Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Steps:

Your connection is having issues. Speed test tells you nothing. It's a best case scenario provided by multiple connections. It has no bearing on a direct connection to a single server.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

Good evening all! I have been using Stream Elements to stream for the last couple of months, and am experiencing a sound stutter issue which affects the viewers of my channel. I can sometimes stream and all will be fine, but randomly a stutter of my game sound, music and sound effect audio will kick in, my voice audio is not effected and remains smooth. The audio i hear on the monitor mix remains smooth also, so i cannot tell when the stutter begins without having another application open on another device to monitor myself there, or by having a viewer tell me my audio is messed up. The only way i can currently fix this is by exiting out of OBS completely and rebooting it, is there anyone who could assist me with this conundrum? Thanks for your time!

Or it could just be a problem with OBS 26 if you updated. Considering it just came out and nobody knows what bugs came along with it, we don't recommend updating immediately.

so nerdordie did some test and they are pretty sure something on your backend is not working right, can I open a ticket or something so someone on the dev team can have a look at this? I got this picture where it would fail and then suddenly work correctly

hi, im trying to update the obslive addon and it keeps giving the same error, that it cant write a file path in program files. I tried uninstalling and it says aborted everytime. Any advice? I cant even use it without the new update.

I'm trying to set up a simple command in the bot that pulls from a txt file and randomly returns one line from the file. This was a fairly simple command to set up on my last bot, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it with StreamElements bot? Is it possible? Going through the new command set up, it really doesn't feel that robust, which is disappointing.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.
