@rigid narwhal Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

OK. So from what I saw in crash log, there was a crash of default OBS libraries. This would be caused by not fully updated OBS (it happened to me once). To solve that the best way to go is to reinstall OBS from scratch. (backup your settings before you do that)

Hey, I just started to use streamelemets with the goal settings and then i also changed the tipping to streamelements but i used to have it on streamlabs. Where all my alerts were, i then imported everything from streamlabs but all money i ever made i got in to the goal but i want the goal to only have money from when i started it. Can i fix this or do i need to reset my goal? Thanks

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

@lavish needle Unfortunately SE doesn't store whole list of people who were your followers in the past. Neither does twitch. Twitch forwards all follow events to StreamElements and alert is triggered

@torn nexus Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Hello all I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but please point me in the right direction if I'm not.

I'm having a slight issue with my alerts that I've never experienced before. I've had some alerts set up on my stream for sometime now and they were 100% working, zero issues. After not streaming for 2 weeks, my alerts are somewhat broke. . .

• I've tested alerts via SE Web, and everything displays and sounds A-okay.
• I've tested alerts via OBS.Live, now I can hear the alerts, but I can't see them.
• After looking closer, it looks like non of my browser sources display on OBS but they are definitely working via SE Web.

(Please follow one of the steps for your set up)

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/712428275049431120/716618713998033047/unknown.png
4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.
3. Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output.
4. Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS. Note: This will not be able to show the video in OBS.

It is currently not possible to separate audio for yourself and stream if you ALSO want to show the video in OBS.
The only way to do this would be to follow the last set of instructions above and then use Window Capture on GC or Chrome.

So my next question is with the charge back protection that SE provides where it states ppl who charge back other streamers will not be able to donate. How does streamelements get notified when this happens when the chargeback is through PayPal? @lament blade 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Ah! Well it would be nice to have a more detailed info for purchase detail so when ppl donate to troll with the intention to charge back, it makes our case stronger with PayPal to include phrases like "final sale, no refund, no shipping provided as no tangible goods will be sent, etc"

So my next question is with the charge back protection that SE provides where it states ppl who charge back other streamers will not be able to donate. How does streamelements get notified when this happens when the chargeback is through PayPal? Is there a form that we have to fill to report it or do you guys somehow get notifed automatically on ur end?

@silver hound If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have OBS.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

There's no other way to obtain points currently enabled in your account. The system is not experiencing any issues and is tallying points appropriately.

"Not being in chat" can just mean they didn't send messages. But if your stream is open, and the chat is visible, they are still counted.

I'm sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for, but the loyalty system is currently working as expected and we haven't received any other reports of such an issue. If anything, when an issue is taking place, it's that people aren't getting points.

3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@coral river We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.

@silent venture If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@dawn berry Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.
