Click on the hamburger (3 short horizontal lines) in the upper left of the Activity Feed window. Click on the gear icon (Stream Settings). Scroll down in the window to Custom Bot name. Click on the down arrow to the right of the text.

@slender prism no, after the time for betting on the contest has ended, then the system will only allow you to choose a winner (an option to give the points) or refund the fund points. Or if you still have time to bet, you can end bets by anticipating the end of the clock.

And clicking on that button, you can copy old contest to start a new one.

@red robin If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@weary prairie 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Hello, i have a problem with KappaGen. I want to use the Bounce Animation, but i have to send 1 Emotes and shortly after that another one to trigger the bounce animation once. Every other mode is working on its own...just bounce is kind of broken. i created a new widget already and cleared the cache of the browser source in OBS. No changes so far...any ideas left?
The Bot i am using triggers the Bounce animation correctly...just me and my viewers have two send to messages with emotes to trigger it

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

This is what I have done already - just wanted a way that a redeem announcement isn't made - it clutters up the chat. It would be a nice feature to have to play sound with a command that wasn't connected to the store.

@twilit leaf If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

• from the overlay editor -> session data on top right (monitor symbol) -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

In the meantime you can set the title using the !settitle command in chat (if enabled in your bot command settings)

I've been spending a little time each day over the past few weeks working on creating my Twitch and YouTube and Twitter and linking everything together and just got StreamElements this week to help with the follower notifications and the chat bot. I know I need a lot of work on pretty much everything but I'm looking for the next big step to work on. Would that be learning Adobe Suite so I can start editing my streams into smaller sized youtube content or should or there other things that are more important when you are starting out?

I did the creator bootcamp through Twitch but a lot of their links either don't work, expired, or were a little convoluted

Does anyone have good resources for something similar? I really like the way they laid everything out and broke it down in nice little check boxes along with the achievements they have on Twitch that help you focus on becoming affiliate.

So if there is something wrong it could be some wrong information on Twitch.

Hi, so I used the transfer tool to bring over my commands from deepbot and that led me to have to delete some commands that I didn't want on streamelements bot. The command !don was deleted from streamelements bot since it is a deepbot only command. However, when I do the !don command streamelements bot still sends out a message as if it was a command but I have checked multiple times and it is deleted.

1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Howdy. I am trying to setup the bot to run a commercial automatically (based on a timer). It doesnt seem to be triggering (I have it set to run /commercial 90 every 30 minutes with 0 chat lines required).

I also wanted to send another message to chat when it triggers that command, but it doesnt seem like this is supported. I had to create a new timer and have it set to the same timeframe. Are there any thoughts on how to handle this better? I did setup the StreamElements bot as an Editor and Moderator of the channel.

@prisma relic ah it's u again, what a coincidence. xD I recall in the past someone telling me Parting and Rejoining may help refresh the Regex. I just edited a Regex that was working (but matching too many things) and now that I have edited it, and even reverted it, no matching will work at all for that command. Other Regex for other commands still function normally.

once you make the overlays in the editor @vapid gyro you will need to import them into OBS. i believe there is an extra life widget for tips that will need set up as well if you want to track the goals

In the meantime you can set the title using the !settitle command in chat (if enabled in your bot command settings)

i don't believe there is a cap for that for that; because it just changes the way it looks for messages. just make sure the regEx button is ticked
