I'm trying to incorporate a custom font in my overlays. How exactly do I do this? I have ticked "enable custom fonts" and typed in the font name as it appears on Windows.

Custom Fonts

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

I have quite a weird (bug?) problem.
I am using the overlay editor.
In Scene 1, I have overlay 1.
In Scene 2, I have overlay 2.
In the first moment it works fine, but after I have switched between the scenes 2 or more times, the URL in one of the overlay-browser sources get overwritten by the one in the other Scene.
Had someone similar issues before?

I use OBS 25.0.8 with the OBS.live plugin.

Check that you have two different urls in these scenes. They definately not switch when switching scenes.

Hi there.
Yesterday was the first time I wanted to present my community with a sub and a follower goal.
My intention was to setup up a goal of 10 subs which they had to reach to start a give away. But I was not able to find a setting that allowed me to start at zero. Instead the sub goal bar showed a number which I can only discribe as "Overall amount of subs I have had on my channel so far."; leading my viewer to think I had a huge amount of active subs right now now and that I am trying to milk them for some more.

Is there a way to make a sub or follower goal read "0 out of 10 so far" ?

• from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

This streaming business is difficult to understand. I was in a stream once where you can type in !play [song name] or [song artist] and it would play that song or something from that song.

1. Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this -> --remote-debugging-port=40404
2. Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3. Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4. Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
5. navigate to the Console tab
6. type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7. Try setting the custom bot name
8. remove the added addition of step 1

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Okay so the tipping system works, it shows the notification on stream and it updates me on my paypal but any money sent to me via Stream elements tipping always says "Pending" on my paypal, with no option to accept the payment sent to me, if enough time passes eventually the transaction is refunded and cancelled how do i get my tips to go through? How i approve them? everything is set up properly i think for stream elements tip settings so i'm not sure why this happens. I'm pretty sure it's not a paypal thing because i was just sent money from a friend on paypal through paypal and it gave me the option to accept on paypal, but when ever it goes to my payapl via the Tip system on stream elements, it says i was sent money but it says pending, but i also can't accept it. I don't know what to do, i'm losing money here. PLease help!!??

I have finally figured out how to stop Media Share from duplicating audio. You must make another blank overly solely with Media Share in it.. add that to the scene (along with your other alert one) Select properties, control audio via obs, then mute the media share... This took me at least 4 hours of annoyance, why isn't this documented anywhere for the huge amount of people having this issue

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

hello I have a question, I am trying to enable the points and roulette features of the chat bot, but it can't do anything, every time I do a command it says the person could not be found even when I am talking to them in chat.

@minor stone There is a watchtime feature. Enable the loyalty system and the !watchtime default command and the watchtime starts counting.
There is a feature with the stream store on StreamElements, where you can enter a message and it gets ready by TTS.

But you can set your bot to answer in some languages in the default command settings at the top right there.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Then add the store redemptions widget to your overlay.

• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

The watchtime command is broke, must be a common problem, Loyalty is enabled. Anybody know whats wrong ?

@lofty bloom 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

If not, then it's likely working as intended. Watchtime only counts up while you are live. In addition, it is not a retroactive system; viewers of your channel will all be starting from 0.
