Hi, I'm trying to add new command sound to my stream and everything was working fine, the sound was working even in Offline mode. Since I've accidentally changed the send setting from "say" to "whisper" the sound is not working anymore, even if I've changed back the setting to "say" again. 🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Some people use their own accounts credentials as bot to collect chat data, sometimes for stats or just other random hobby projects. Though you don't actually need to appear in the chat list to collect that info since you can do it all anonymously without needing an account (there are probably a dozen more hidden bots connected to your chat that you can't see), so in some cases I'm inclined to think they're just advertising their own channel by mass connecting to hundreds of channels at once (which would be pretty easy to script) but of course I can only speculate lol

So I'm thinking THAT is how they get THEIR loyalty points

Steps:

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

Hey there! So, I have been running into an issue and was wondering if anyone knew a fix or if there was a reason for it. I had a few friends host my stream last night and, for some reason, the host alert would not pop up at all. I even made sure that the minimum amount in the Alert widget was set to 0, and I confirmed they weren't autohosts by the people who hosted. Does anyone know why this happens? The hosts don't even show in the activity feed on Twitch or in OBS Studo with OBS.Live

@scenic nexus Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Actually, another question. I set up a variety of bot timers and set them for the same time interval (10 minutes) and for the same chat lines (5 lines). During the stream, all of the timer messages triggered at the same time. If I wanted to stagger these, would I have to set each timer to a different interval or is there a way to randomize the timers?

You can add multiple messages to the timer and the bot cycles through them in the set period.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Can not get my custom bot name to link to my stream account I have did it 5 times and the only one showing are my twitch account and streamelements. strange I didn't have issues before. Uninstalled and reinstalled after I was havinf an issue with a wierd sound of 3 gunshots when in OBS Live after update 3 weeks ago. Now the sound is gone but so is my custom chat bot.

I was havinf an sound problem and it was only when OBS Live was running. as a tech I troubleshooted to the source OBS lice so I unstalled it and then reinstalled after a reboot.

2) Open OBS(or restart if it was open)

6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name
8) remove the added addition of step 1

I seem to be getting delay/lag when using text appearence delay setting on an alertbox alert. The animation shows fully and no issues at all in preview on stream elements, but when importing to OBS the animation is basically laggy until the text appears. any idea why this could be? It use to work fine and have never had issues with this before til yesterday.

Nevermind fixed it by enabling browser source accel.

@hushed pelican Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Good Morning, Thanks for all the help yesterday. You guys are awesome. I am having an issue getting overlay custom widgets. I am logged into streamelements go to Discord, widget-share, find the custom widget, click on the "Link", browser launches and goes to streamelements URL and that is it. no new overlay is created. It worked when I built all my overlays?? If this needs to be posted somewhere else let me know.
