Both the follwage command and watchtime command dont work for me. It gives me an error command with the follage and it says people have watched for 0 seconds when they have watcged for longer what should i do?

@torn bison 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Please note that the overlay editor is almost 3 years old and we are working on a revamp for it

In the revamp the animation settings will only be shown for the widgets it works with - at least thats the current plan.

Hey guys, I can’t seem to find the proper command for this. I’m a moderator for a streamer that had to ban someone at the top of their points list. They want to set that user to 0 points so they no longer appear when you run “!top”

We tried the “!setpoints USER 0” but that didn’t do anything or give any feedback. The streamer themselves has run this as well with the same result.

I have my twitch alerts working well and now I am working in mixer's alerts. my doubt is that: taking in count that there are 2 different browser sources, if it occurs 1 event on each platform at the same time, I guess both sources will trigger the alert and show them at the same time, which means I can't use the same positioning for the alert boxes in obs. am I right?

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

For some reason, my KappaGen isnt work? I have it set to allow all emotes and unlimited emotes per individual yet no matter how many emotes I type in my own twitch channel, none of the emotes show up on screen in my OBS or in my overlay settings for the KappaGen.. Help needed please!

hmm. Having an issue with stream deck and the obs.live plugin I saw a few other mentions of it but not a solution while searching. Basically the plugin randomly seems to not be installed anymore and when I hit the install button for the plugin it acts like it installs but it doesn't. The button just resets to install

I have a problem with using Game Captures, the game never ends up showing on stream

But if I double click on my gamecapture and choose the game to show full screen, it does pick up the game. It just doesn't show in the end

Any suggestions for kappagen not working with only cheer alerts? Everything else seems good to go. I've removed/readded Kappagen and it's the same thing.

I haven't tested with an actual cheer, but that's my next step I suppose.

I'm having an issue with giveaways on a channel that I have editor privileges on. I'm able to get all of the settings, the giveaway name, tickets etc set up. Once I create the giveaway, the bot posts in chat with the standard "Type !tickets 1" to enter" message.

Hi, im having an issue. I have a base canvas res of 1920x1080 but im streaming at 1280x720 so i assumed i had to make overlays on streamelents for 720p resolution (the output one) but when i tried to emulate it in the obs preview it looked really small compared to the actual size. Even expanding it all the way in the overlay manager is still very small compared to the actual stream preview. How can i fix it?

you have to put it in roughly the same place on the editor and then look in OBS until it's in the right position. or you could throw the cam overlay in the editor as well and make it all in there.

Hi! I was trying to integrate my commands that have audio sounds from Streamlabs chatbots with StreamElements? Is this possible? I have commands setup through StreamElements currently where they reply back with text and an image through the kappagen widget on Streamelements. I've been trying to use the "redeem" widget and it works when someone redeems a "store" item but the icon/text doesn't fade away from the scene. It stays forever. The "fade" setting in the theme editor view shows it set to 10 seconds then fade.

Icon? I think only "redeemed" stays there until you refresh the overlay.

Since its a known issue that is the work around and a full fix is being worked on, but no ETA on when.
