Hello everyone, so I am very new to OBS and I am currently on the StreamElements > My Overlays screen and I have found a set of overlays that I love. I have created a scene for each of the overlays (Just Chatting, Stream Ended, In Game, Stream Starting Soon, and Be Right Back), but I am not sure where to paste the overlay URL into OBS. Can someone please assist with the steps needed to do so?

I've noticed an increase in 1-viewers hosts coming through to StreamElements (seemingly what were 0 viewer hosts and were being filtered out) - has something changed?

@long frost Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Please understand that every setup, will be very different.
Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.
Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having, but not a list of settings.

Hello - I have a Host/Raid alert video animation, and the video is only about 7 seconds long. I'd like my host/raid alert to stay on screen for ~30 seconds or maybe even longer. I'd like for my video to play on repeat during that 30 seconds, however I don't see an option to do that. It plays the video animation once for 7 seconds then goes away, and keeps the Host/Raid text on screen for 30 seconds. Any ideas on how I can keep the video going on repeat through the duration of the alert?

If I have two scenes, let's say one called "Game" and one called "Test", if I click on "Game" in the Scenes list, then press the "T" key on my keyboard, it will switch to "Test". Neither of these scenes have assigned hotkeys in the Settings menu (Settings -> Hotkeys -> "Switch to Scene" is blank for both of these). I'm asking if there's a way to disable this.

That is built into OBS and not toggleable.
If you press the first letter of the scene name it swaps to that scene.

I'm trying to set up a follower goal for my channel, sadly I was hit with a follower bot in October and got 50 follows which were removed (thankfully) however the Streamelements widget is still counting all the followers, according to twitch I have 14 followers but Streamelements is saying I have 65 Followers.

- Loyalty settings to your desire
- (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
- "Redeeming this item shows an alert
- Redemable via chat
- Skip Requirements
- Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
- Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
- Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
- Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

@agile island Due to a sudden and unforeseen Twitch API change Custom bot name feature through OBS.Live / Ground Control not working temporarily - this means that we cannot get the tipping link from your panels in order to activate the Custom bot name(This includes the tipping settings check).
We are looking into it. No ETA on a fix yet.

- type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
- Try setting the custom bot name

Hi. I changed my name of my Twitch channel. I have attached Streamelements to my new account. Everything is working fine, as per the last channel. BUT....When I or my mods or my viewers put a command into chat, it doesn't reply in the chat. For example, before I would put !addpoints to a viewer, and it would say in the chat that I have done that. Similarly, when someone puts in a song request so !sr then the song, it doesn't come up afterwards and say "this user has put this song in the queue like it usedto do. I cant seem to find the button to show streamelemnst replies to actions in the settings anywhere. please help.

If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. This can also be found in the overlay editor by selecting DATA (next to WIDGETS) > Goals

Is someone able to help me out with an issue I'm having with renaming my bot? I had the setting a few days ago in Ground Control and today it's gone. I fixed it. For some reason it keeps adding a requirement to the redemption even though I never added one. Super weird. Once I remove that, it works fine.

Evening everyone! I added the credit roll to an ending scene for myself and unchecked followers from the options. I know it's supposed to populate based on session but when I check at the end of each stream none of the other event types populate the credits. Any advice?
and when I emulate i've only been able to get it to list one faux donation once in about 10-20 tries

ello there. i have an issue with the kappagen emotesplosion things. for some reason your platform is bringing through my old emotes. which i haven't used in over a month now.
they have all been changed and updated. however i cannot see a way to change or update my emotes on your website? i have been to it and gone to the emotesplosion section. and clicked my new emotes and clicked update and save.
however the old emotes are still coming through in to the browser source. any ideas?

make sure you have the default command "!emotes" enabled and use !emotes update in your chat.
This will force our system to update with your emotes, but afterwards make sure you clear the browser source's cache.

it is kind of working. mhm. yes been refreshing quite a lot. so. it is quite strange. there are 2 emotes in there that are old. and i dont have any more. however. some of the new ones are coming through.
So there is an emote with a tongue sticking out that should be there. quina from FF9 and also Shiva from FF10. that shouldnt be there. there rest are fine.

Maybe this was asked before.. For some days now my SE-Subcount is not working as before.. it always did, but now it's off.
Before i used to "Reset Session" in streamelements . com / dashboard / session under "Totals" and the count was always correct... now it's off - sometimes 2-3 subs.. sometimes 5..
Also the chat-command including the ${channel.subs} or something sometimes showed "0" the last few days... or other numbers that are off the right count.
Did you guys change anything?

streamlabs obs is a fork of obs, but we use a plugin to the original obs studios because it has less CPU usage

Yes, deleted chat messages (by mods) are still shown in the widget. I always show chat in my stream, so if my mods delete messages (like spoilers, bsg) then it should also be deleted in the widget.
