In modules you can disable chat notifications for redemptions, however if someone redeems an item via chat the bot still posts the generic response that is tied to the default !Redeem command. Is there a way to edit these responses?

No, you cannot edit these messages at this time. You can only disable the pepes. There is an idea for customizing default messages in our ideas board you are welcome to upvote.

I think I found an issue while helping another streamer, either with the system or with his account.

We have a national payment system named MobilePay (MP), and I've developed a way to detect and send this as an API call so it look like a PP-dono. Two of the payments @dreamy bobcat got on MP were not donations, the detection system was running at the time so it picked them up and added them to SE.

We remove both donations from the "Revenue history -> Tip List"
Then we opened up his overlay and clicked the "DATA"-tab
In the "LABELS"-subtab we changed "Latest Tipper" back to the data before the two non-donations
We then removed the two names from the "Recent Tips" and clicked Save
We then went into "GOALS"-subtab and changed the "Tip goal progress" back to the correct amount and clicked Save

Now we made sure they were gone from the above mentioned, but when we looked at "aggregates"-subtab they are still there as "All time, monthly and weekly top tip(per)" so we checked the "Revenue history -> 'Tip List' and 'Top Tipper'" and they are gone from those lists.

This was done yesterday, so i think it should have synced by now and be completely gone from his account as donations?

Got a issue with stream title changes.
I'm supermod for two different channels. On one channel the !settitle works fine, the other it says "something went wrong." I am editor on the channel that doesn't work, but theres also another supermod on that channel and he gets the same result. Same for result for !setgame

On both channels, the !addpoints works fine so I know the supermod role is in place on both.

Ideas?

My friend changed her channel name a few weeks ago and had to set up leaderboards again, however, it only displays top subs/top gifters but does not show up anything for top chatters/top emotes. Hello everyone, I’m using OBS NDI and before when I was using streamlabs, I didn’t have any problems with lag or dropped frames or anything like that.. now that I’m using SE overlays, my streaming computer is showing majorly dropped frames when I’m in game (I play fortnite mostly) OBS NDI shows I’m running at 60FPS but the stream looks awful. So I was streaming tonight and my stream visual froze, but the audio was fine. OBS showed the stream was fine too, but when I checked it on twitch the visuals were frozen and would catchup and freeze every 10-20min. I ended the stream and started it but that didn't help, and I watched the videos and it confirms that the audio was fine but the visuals were frozen. Is there something I can do for that? It was fine this morning.

You can use the stream store to have images and sounds pop up, but at the moment the stream store doesn't support video files(and we recommend .webm video files and not .mp4)

Volume of Alerts just keeps dropping down to inaudible levels. Can’t seem to maintain anything. It’ll start out just fine and happen mid-stream.

Refreshing overlays, rebuilding overlays, refresh source, etc... nothing fixes it. It’s been happening consistently for weeks now. Unreliable alerts.

— Also, community gifts (gift Sub to community) hits the train TWICE, so it’s counting it as 2 subs.

If your volume is too loud in Ground Control then check your Windows volume mixer for the volume you've set for Ground Control, might be too high

The thing ist that my windows volume wont change my desktop volume in OBS, but if I turn the desktop volume down in OBS, than everyting else ist to quiet.

It only changes it for myselfe, but not for the viewers.

If you change this, it changes for you and your viewers, because your viewers hear what you hear (unless you've set up an audio mixer, but we don't provide support for that)

Hey guys! when adding overlays do we have to use 1920x1080? For instance my desktop/game is 2560x1440 and i stream in 960P so what should i use for the overlay dimensions?

You can make them 2560x1440 in the overlay editor but you will need to sort the items in the overlay editor again for the changed resolution.

The audio files have been uploaded for over a year. I haven't changed a thing about it really. It all goes into OBS as a browser source, and it usually starts with being the proper volume after the first alert - and then, they are basically at 10% volume forever no matter what I do

I suspect this has to do with how Twitch displays it. It shows:
(Name) has gifted 1 sub to the community
(Name) has gifted a sub to (Name)

@tight harness I'll check if this fixes it today.... I've uncovered something just now. My variations had the audio levels on the audio at <20% on everything. This makes no sense to me, as I had them set to 100% for a long time, but something must have happened in the recent past with the platform that would adjust these (within the cloud, as in, from the source's variations).

@plush raptor StreamElements has yet to introduce a proper Events system - so my own solution is using StreamLabs chatbot for certain functions that SE lacks.

You can have both bots use the same Twitch account to maintain a singular bot name in chat, even though it’s two systems.

Crash looks to be related to AMF encoder. First step would be to reinstall video drivers, using the latest drivers for your card. If that does not resolve the crash, you would need to ask in the OBS discord

@tight harness I have desktop audio device set to the standard output device and the mic/aux audio is my mic input and mixer input from my gaming rig . But if I mute that nothing get transmitted from streamelements not the alerts nothing. Everything is going over the mic/aux incl the media request

But if I play Spotify over my streaming rig it’s going to the correct channel the desktop audio device

Or if I play YouTube on my browser as well...

single monitor livestreaming is very hard.

that's just how it is

when you're live, you will be constantly switching windows to keep up with just your chat

unless you find a way to inject your stream chat within your game

as a temp solution, you might want to monitor your chat using your mobile device if you have one.

No, do not have that. Just coming through head set. I even had it go throw my cam only, instead if headset. The cam made me louder so that was good but still the echo.

Windows 10 does not have the echo, setting like the other windows had in setting so not sure what is up with it.

I research on net to see what could be causing it and my setting are set up like all the videos say it should be but still echo.

That is the reason why you should make it a mod. Happy that you found the reason.

Blocking is just for your PMs on twitch I think, banned is that they cannot type in your channel any more.

Blocking is your personal interactions with an individual. Banning removes their capacity to participate in your chat.
