The ticket is already assigned to a team leader. Once there is an update, we will notify you via email. Those cases can take up to 6 weeks in total and we wait for the data.
So we are not able to provide the correct information until we have the data.

I have an issue, I had two stream element accounts, one linked to twitch and one to youtube, I do not know why it was like that, but it was, I deleted the youtube one and now I cannot claim my channel on the twitch one. How long does it normally take before the claim goes away?
I will also state, that once I deleted the youtube on, my twitch one reset as well, everything got unsetup. So i think I messed something up big time

But I can stream and all that. I just cannot find and restore the panel that would let you update stream info.
You should be able to go to View > Docks > Stream Information. If that doesn't show. make sure you disconnect OBS from your account and then reconnect it in the OBS Stream Settings
My View and Dock tabs are seperate and neither has "stream information"

I tested the overlay, and it looks like everything is working as intended in OBS. Can you remove the overlay completely, and re-add it? Once you add it, emulate a test event (like a follow) and see if it works

You can only have one sponsorship running at a time. As for the HBO one, you will need to submit a ticket for the issue you are experiencing.

Update on StreamElements gamble feature: I am now on a 28 gamble losing streak (pretty much experimenting at this point) and the streamer has indicated to me that gambles are at a 50% win/loss ratio. Other people don't have a problem winning except me. Is there some sort of error that could effect me in one particular room? I have no problem with this feature in other rooms.
Hi, is there a reason why in the latest version of SE OBS when I perform a raid, the raided channel chat replaces my own chat instead of opening in a new window like it used to do? Twitch raiding is a little flakey at best and I used to be able to see if I had users left behind in my chat after a raid but now that my chat is replaced with the raided channel chat I can't, is there a setting or option to be able to restore previous behaviour?

Custom Fonts
Steps:
- Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
- In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
- Click on Enable Custom Font
- Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually
C:\Windows\Fonts)
Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.
The font still needs to be loaded on your pc as you’re attempting to render it locally. If the font isn’t present on your pc then it will render it in the closest family font available on your pc.
Web fonts are hosted on websites which is how they load in a browser. Since you’re selecting a custom font you still need to download and install the font on your pc in order for it to render since you are hosting the font for the overlay.
Hey guys wondering if there's a update on the whole sponsorship not being able to be viewed in the current sponsors section it says the hello fresh one is running but doesn't show me any stats as can't click into view section. I have already got people signing up and wanna track everything and make sure it's working.
To reset goals:
- from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
- from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.
Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues
If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

You need to create a variant for your alertbox.
go in to the overlay editor then select the alertbox layer > Subscription > variation settings > community gift

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
- In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
- Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
- In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
- Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
- Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
- Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again
I'm using the recent event rotator widget, and my top cheerer recently changed her name. And now SE doesn't track it. I have images if that helps?
I don't believe there is a way to track the name change unfortunately :(

I couldn't find a quick answer to this, but I know when OBS 28 first came out, I had to rollback my Stream Deck software/programs as well as OBS and Stream Elements before they didn't play well together.... I just wanted to double-check to see if it's now working well together before I try to go through the whole installation rigmarole again haha. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Having an issue with the Raid: Shadow Legends campaign. It requires to stream for 4 hours with branded overlay active. Over 3 streams i have streamed 10 hours with the overlay active whilst playing Raid. last 2 streams were just focused on play Raid both 4+ hours each. the first wass a 2hour bloack at the end of playing my usual game. yet the campaign says i have streamed 0 hours with the overlay. the campaign runs until friday 7pm uk time and due to other commitments the only time i would be able to fit in a nout 4 hour stream will be thursday evening so i need help asap if i have set something wrong.

which campaign are you referring to?
The dates may change sometimes, payouts can take up to 30 days, and could be sooner but until the status doesn't change to paid nothing is certain, it wont be later than Oct 11 though
So what made it jump to the 6th?
@young leaf mine says it was supposed to come October 5th and it still is processing. i try and make a ticket, they wont go through

In general response time is up to 48h but we do try to reply as soon as possible. It really depends on how many tickets are in line, but even if the campaign expires we are still able to update it manually, no worries.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hey guys ... found a little thing to fix: In the standardcommands the link for !songqueue is incorrect. It should be "mediarequest" at the end of the link and not "songrequest". I fixed it temporarily with a custom command ... but would be nice if you fix it for all users 🙂

Answered with an example in #dev-chat. You can continue the conversation in there as it is something we usually talk in there (chat commands, overlays, API, widgets, things like that)
There is a command for that in #command-share. If I'm not mistaken, you can search for "Spotify" in there and you will find the command for that 🙂
im not sure if this is the right spot but i stream on twitch.. when im in game with a few games.. ie.. assassins creed games... my overlay freezes.. happens on all of them... but if i play a game like ffxiv.. it doesnt.. any tips as how i can fix this? it didnt happen until recently. and everything is updated

How do you re-enable auto resizing on text widgets for the overlay?
If I leave the size blank it's auto, I accidentally resized it which caused the values to be not blank and a fixed size, and I can't erase the fields to make it auto again.

wasn't sure what channel to put this suggestion sorry if its wrong spot. Know you guys do sponsorship stuff, but have you thought of offering ad placement on the loyalty store/homepage. Like the streamer can select from a list of ads and designate spots on their loyalty store/homepage etc. You guys keep a cut streamer gets a cut advertiser gets legit traffic. seems like a win/win/win and alot of the work is already done for you guys. Seems like a ton of impressions/money going to waste not having this available.
So I made a custom animation in AE and that runs perfectly good with everything. But I was wondering is there a way to separate the 2 text? Like the "name" and the "Just Subscribed" text. I would like to do that because at the end of the animation the bottom part that holds the "Just Subscribed" text rolls back up before the whole animation closes. So I would like to be able to do 2 separate animations for different text and I need to make the "name" text larger so it fits it's background better.
Is there any possible way how to do this? If so please let me know and help me out. Thanks so much!

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

I have a problem with the SE chatbot, it suddenly stopped working completely both timers and default/custom commands, I've already tried parting from channel and having it join back again, including completely disconnecting my twitch account and reconnecting neither of which have seemed to fix the problem, and each time I've made sure the bot was still moderator incase that had something to do with it but that hasn't been the case, every other service has continued working such as overlays, only the chat bot has stopped working.

Those won't be able to be separated unfortunately. It's all one text string, and the secondary would have to be a [variable] to receive any different settings

When I got rid of Nightbot and switched to SE, SE imported my settings from Nightbot. All 16 of my VIPs were listed in Nightbot and my Twitch Roles Manager, but only 9 of them showed up in the User Management section of SE's Chatbot. I manually added the missing seven VIPs names, but SE only gave me the option to add them as Regular (300), Moderator 500, or Super Moderator (1000) ... There was no way to add them as VIP (400), so I got stuck adding them as Regular (300). I've tried to change their statuses to VIP (400) in chat by using the !level option, but it would not work. How do I fix their statuses so that they can post links, and have the benefits of a VIP? My channel name is Cybertekkno.

Hi, I have a problem with my StreamElements Live docked windows in OBS. When I dock the windows, and lock them, it causes all of my other areas in OBS to lag. As soon as I either close the windows or remove them from being docked into their own window, my OBS runs smoothly again. Is this a known issue?

But donations (cheers) and raids and such did not get listed in the event list.

When you change your username on Twitch, sometimes you need to do a logout and login so the bot can refresh the configuration with your new username. Try to follow the steps below:
1 - Go to https://streamelements.com/logout
2 - Login with your Twitch account
3 - From your dashboard, click on PART CHANNEL button
4 - Wait some seconds
5 - Click on JOIN CHANNEL button
6 - Check if you can have the alerts again.

Thing is, that I already did that but it did not help.
The fake/test alerts from the overlay creation do work tho.
I think it might be caused by the fact that the dashboard (for example in the bot user management section) tstill says my old name is the broadcaster, even though the profile button at the upper right is already using the new one.
I already deleted the broadcaster role in the management section, but after a reload it again says "old_username".
I think that might be why the raids/cheers do not get triggered, because SE is trying to read the old names chat/stream data and can't do so, because it is gone
That broadcaster user from user management is not used anymore, as far as I remember. Many accounts don't even have that appearing anymore. It looks like some synchronizing issue.

Some of my tips alerts on stream aren't coming through. They show up in my chat and update in my recent tip but the alert doesn't come through. It seems to be connected with either 1. How long the message is. 2. Maybe the punctuation or spacing in the message? When I copy and past the exact message, amount tipped, and username it doesn't come through but when I remove or change the message it comes through.

Are they being tipped via PayPal or Se.Pay?
@candid oak PayPal I believe. 9/10 come through but I've had two in the last two weeks that haven't. Also sometimes they come through but don't read the message via TTS

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

The same viewer tipped the same amount ($40) the night before. Maybe it blocked it for suspicious activity
Can you double check a setting for me real quick.
Go to StreamElements Dashboard > Revenue > Tipping Settings > tipping settings (top right) > Tip Moderation.
This setting can have the option to mute alerts if they contain certain words (Global will block the word a*s even if it's in words such as Sassy)
That may be a reason as well

And the word "massive" was in it
So even if the tip goes through, but TTS doesn't trigger, it could be due to those settings, (depending on what you have set as the action. Some will change the word, some will flat out block the alert)

Hello, I was wondering if there is an update to my ticket, I was told someone would get back to me today and I'm sill awaiting a response.
The Account ID is 62e87185b241f8683bc02684. I already know the levels, some of my VIPs in Twitch/Nightbot did not move over when I imported into SE and closed my Nightbot account. I added those 7 people manually and am not able to give them their VIP status in SE, it is not an option on the User Management list. Everyone on the User Managment list should have VIP status.

There is a known issue with the import tool and i've added this to our report. I've added all the users on your list to VIP status.
When you tried the command in chat, did you get an error message? Did you do !level @username 400?

I tried that command in chat and it responded that the person was Regular (300) status. It did not change it. I just refreshed my browser and everyone in that screen is showing as VIP. Thanks so much!

You can be added to multiple channels as an editor/bot moderator.

I was testing my overlay and i emulated a subscription of 5000+ months* and it stopped working
refreshed the page and the alerts play on the website but not on my obs
