I have a pretty simple question to ask. I'm using the total subs display and for some reason it doesn't fully keep the number of actual total subs It's sort of like, if my total subs display was at 3 for one stream that day, and then it'll go back to 0 or 1 right after the stream ends or something. If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in Streamlabs Desktop as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin SE.Live.

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active, as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Hello everyone I recently bought a complete stream pack with lots of overlays / widgets etc. but I think I overestimated how hard it is to install them... and honestly I'm not finding every solution on youtube

for example I have a "stream ending" screen but im not sure what I have to do to use it

Pardon, if possible i'd still like a quick fix to this small issue, my sub count for total subs when working on overlays keep displaying 1 when it should display more than that. It will sometimes display the right number and other times it will just display 1. I'm not sure if I have any settings put in wrong or if it's just buggy.

Yeah, should I reset the session, or have "Auto Reset" Session clicked on for this to happen or something?

If you are using the total follower/total subscriber widget, reset your session from the Activity Feed to fetch updated data from twitch. If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. This can also be found in the Overlay Editor by selecting DATA (next to WIDGETS) > Goals.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Dynamic Fonts resize the font based on size of the box

If you want to fit within a fixed size you will have to input the actual size you want

If you do that, that should fix the issue

StreamElements - Font - Blur problem

Theme Design made by StreamElements called " SPITFIRE ANIMATED SUPER THEME " .... But Blur happens with other SE-Themes, too.

Font size is sharp when editing inside SE-Editor on Mozilla Firefox.

But ... Text Font is blurry in OBS - no filters/effects are used ( see screenshot of OBS settings )

StreamElements properties is 1080p. OBS Browser source is 1920 x 1080 and then used CTRL + F to fit base canvas size of 3840 x 2160 in OBS.

Using latest OBS-27 Version. Changing fonts didn't help. It is blurry during livestreaming, too. This is not just a blurry preview.

Resizing the font size from 16 to 56 doesn't help as seen in the screenshot.

Blur is clearly visible, esp. when you compare the blue "pixelmategraphics" text.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

When you add your browser source, you have to change the width and height to 1920 and 1080, respectively. Click twice on your browser source and make the changes

The timer starts once you reach the "Chat lines" you configured in that timer.
Let's say you set the Chat lines to 5. Once you have 5 messages in your chat (in the last 5 minutes, this is not configurable), the timer of 10 minutes will start to count. So you will have the message from the timer sent to your chat after 10 minutes.

Even if StreamElements properties is changed to 3840 x 2160, and OBS Browser source, too. No success, still blurry esp. when you compare the blue text.

Since this happened with others Themes from the official SE-Gallery, I wonder no one else has this problem.

Font is made bigger, so you can spot the blur easily, especially in the blue broadcaster text, letters like i , a and e . Normally I use font 16 instead of 57. Size 16 with blur makes it hard to read.

Using latest OBS-27 Version. Changing fonts didn't help. It is blurry during livestreaming, too. This is not just a blurry preview.

Have you tried to change the Streamelements overlay size to Custom resolution and put 3840 x 2160 to match your OBS canvas size? So you wouldn't need to resize it with CTRL+F. Change the browser source to 3840 x 2160 as well.
I don't know if that will solve the issue, but you can try. Some fonts have problems with resizing.

Hello, I accidentally closed my Twitch activity feed on OBS. How do I get it back? The one from the dock isn't the same as the one I had before and is lacking information at the top. It's the panel that lets you change stream info, and mark notifications as read.

We don't have this information. Also the "issue" is in the font.
It is easier to find who created the font, the person is called "Jovanny Lemonad" ( http://www.identifont.com/show?37XR )
But really, I have no idea on how to "fix" that, as you are changing the resolution that you stream. Those things always cause some kind of issue (especially in your case that you are changing from 4k to 720p).

Maybe if we have some designer here in the chat, they could explain it

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. I've gone though each tutorial I can find with turning back on the custom bot name. The settings in SE.Live don't have the custom bot name option anymore. Did this get moved or changed when OBS updated to 28? All of the tutorials from SE or in here dont seem to be the same version I have. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

But I was wondering if there's a way I can have an image appear when I hold a hotkey but once I let go the image disappears in OBS instead of the original press to show and then press again to hide.

My main goal is to add a microphone icon to indicate that I'm talking in game for Sea of Thieves but since I use push to talk I hold down my thumb mouse button to talk and let go to mute, but with the current hotkey, if I set it to my push to talk hotkey (Thumb mouse button) it will show the image when I click/hold the hotkey, but then when I let go I have to click it again to make it disappear.

Hello! Has anyone faced the issue where the streamelements alerts are working properly in browser, but do not show up properly in OBS? I can only hear the audio in OBS, but I cannot see the actual alert box pop in.
Everything should be set up correctly already: the alert is at the top of the Sources list, URL is set correctly, the Width and Height match between OBS and StreamElements, I have tried multiple times to refresh the caches in OBS and reset the data in the StreamElements page and I have already disabled "Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration". Have I missed something or is there something else that I should have taken care of?

Hello, is there any documentation related to manipulating strings passed to the bot? Similar to other bots that use javascript? I've been trying to for a few minutes, but no dice.

I'm experiencing an issue with OBS 27.2.4 and SE.Live plugin. I'll load Browser Sources of my overlays and then as I change scenes, the Activity Feed and Chat will refresh, and suddenly my Overlays will be corrupted. Here's an example:

This only happens within OBS Studio and whenever I change scenes, both docks will glitch out and refresh and then the browser source bugs out too.

Any ideas? Should I just uninstall the SE.Live Plugin?

This is done using eval, but Streamelements bot does not have support to eval, so you cannot manipulate it with SE.

cause how i and loads of others see it. when/if you get to the stage of your cc career and have like 1k or more viewers and they know you check messages and links often. thn they will always expect it.

which then content becomes more you engaging than actually making content. if that makes sence.

nbot at all saying you dont want engagement with your community. i love engaging with viewers. but i structured it to be at set times of the streams. like inbetween games. like 30mins from one game played exiting and going to just chatting and so on.

This was a bug in our revamp of the page. It appeared for a brief period to all pages, even if there was no offer for them. We reversed and unfortunately, you witnessed this happen. I understand how that can be frustrating, but the tab will appear once you receive your first offer.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

In many cases, wireless connections can cause issues because of their unstable nature. Streaming really requires a stable connection. Often wireless connections are fine, but if you have problems, the first troubleshooting step would be to switch to wired. We highly recommend streaming on wired connections.

hello I have been creating an overlay for my streams but with the alert box its playing music when on top on my alert sound when someone follows and even when I delete the alert box it still plays that music when someone follows, how can I fix this?

you may want to seperate the overlay from the alert box. and delete any of the alert sounds from the editor

you cant. pause the timer by lx. it wasnt programmed with a pause feature. only start/reset and an addtime feature

unless you can go into the js coding and add the pause function yourself and also set a command for it in the marathon timer by LX. defo doesnty have a coroutine for a pause function looking at the code itself

If you are attempting to stream to one streaming platform, but SE.Live is attempting to stream to another, please try the following:

Navigate to StreamElements menu, on top of OBS > Logout > Login

After you have logged back in navigate to File > Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Reconnect

Try these steps in the order:
1- First logout from OBS Settings > Stream > Disconnect Account
2 - After that, logout from Streamelements Menu > Logout
3 - Then login again from Streamelements Menu and again from OBS Settings, using your Twitch account.

You might not have se looked into your twitch. Or for some reason your obs x se might have bugged. See if your twitch is connected

Loyalty isn't enabled.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Sorry to hear this happened to you as well, it happened to me twice in a week, @plucky fable I used commanderoot to remove them and sery_bot to ban them when you’re live, so when it happens again they’re instantly banned! Hope this helps!

I am doing a Design Refresh of my wife's Twitch Channel, and I use the JS Events API on the overlays to present animated alerts that make her camera frame reactive to twitch events... everything looks fine, but there is One kind of events that I cant seem to figure how to track: Hypetrain - Start, Progress and End. Is there a way to receive Hyper train start events, check if Hypetrain is in progress when loading the overly and receive hypetrain end event?

More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts allows for faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events

Hi there. I have been using StreamElements overlays with my Twitch channel for a while now. Today, they just...stopped working on my computer. I have tested on another computer and they still work.

I had updated my PC yesterday to OBS 28.0.1. Today I opened it up and there was no overlay. Checked all my settings, tried adding the link again. Nothing. Uninstalled the updated version and have gone back to OBS 27.2.4, and still no dice. Turned firewall off to check if that was blocking the link. Still nothing. Yet I can see the overlay on my Mac (obs 27.1.3). I am THOROUGHLY baffled. Halp?

This seems to specifically be an issue with using anything with link in the OBS browser option. No links work at all, so it's not a Stream elements thing so much as am OBS think, I reckon. Is is there a plugin that could be broken?

!gamble is an alias to !roulette command. Look for that command in default commands and you can change the cooldown and enable/disable it.
As regards the !titleset (I believe you meant the !settitle command), the Streamelements bot needs to be added as editor in the Twitch roles Manager.

Its not quite that simple! I need to make a different sized/shaped one, and more or less wanted to copy/paste it from one alert, to another! If I enable the CSS it more or less makes me start from scratch! If I can copy/paste the code from a fully made one, then paste it into the specific alerts that would be perfect!

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello ! I wanted to use Advanced Subgoal by Diox. It shows 299 subs but i actually have 313, i tried to log out and log in, reset session but it doesn't change anything and i don't know why the number is wrong. Can somebody help please?

If you mean videos with greenscreen, no. You have to remove the greenscreen separately in some editing software.
Another option is using OBS filters to remove greenscreen, so you would apply it to your browser source. But this will make any green information from that browser source to be transparent.

If you are using the total follower/total subscriber widget, reset your session from the Activity Feed to fetch updated data from twitch. If you’re using goal widgets, you can edit the progress of any goal by going to Activity Feed > Widget Data > Goals. This can also be found in the Overlay Editor by selecting DATA (next to WIDGETS) > Goals.

To reset goals:

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Another quick question about the HelloFresh sponsorship. It says "The HelloFresh widget is designed to be minimally invasive to the broadcast and must be visible on stream from the beginning of the sponsored stream." and then it gives me overlay links to a Tracker Bar and In-Stream Banner. Do both of those have to be visible during the entire stream or just one of them? I'm not sure which one is the "HelloFresh widget" that was mentioned.

Are you sure you submitted a ticket? Be sure to check your junk and spam folders but if you proerly submited a ticket, it should send a nautomated message saying the message was sent

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

hi! i have a couple questions/concerns about my current campaign with Factor. i normally would've just submitted a ticket, but i feel like this type of conversation wouldn't feel as productive through an email thread.
first and foremost, is it possible to extend my Factor campaign for another week? i missed almost all week while sick with Covid and would super appreciate an extension.
now, for the more complicated part: if this is under anybody's power in here, i have info on a user and a streamer who have found a way to hack these campaigns. unfortunately, i fell victim to it almost a week ago and now i have 5 "signups" added to my campaign that i did not ask for nor do i want since they're illegitimate. is it possible to get those 5 removed so i can get back to the number i worked for organically? i have proof/screenshots.
sorry if this is a lot, but streaming is my full time job and i never want to take these opportunities for granted, nor do i want to take lightly to other people trying to tarnish my hard work.
