If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hi guys I have two issues I could get some help with, in my activity feed the follows and other activities do not show up until I manually F5 the page, which forces me to set up sounds for alerts if I want to notice them but I stream a game where sound alerts can be kinda intrusive... After the test completes, click the Share Result button to upload a screenshot, which can then be copied and pasted here.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hello. A streamelements overlay is throwing out hundreds of these errors in my friend's OBS log followed by OBS crashing. Can anybody tell me what might be causing this? Okay I disabled all the automod settings from Twitch and disabled all the filters from StreamElements.
Also, I took the automod settings of the streamer for my channel and let the user test it on mine.

Works on my channel with that user but not on hers. Btw one more user had the issue too.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Most people only want emotes from their stream, I assumed it would work, but you'll have to make sure the bot stays subbed to that streamer.

Hi! I was editing some Tipping Varations and for some reason my images all keep getting cropped. The're all under 200pixels wide so i'm not sure why they would crop so agressively ( like 3/4ths missing). I don't see any settings where i can change why its cropping and i didn't crop them when uploading either.

Hello,
I'm an editor for a TTV/StreamElements page, and I'm trying to fix a module she inadvertently misconfigured.

Previously, a user in her TTV chat would be able to type !duel and input an unlimited amount (up to their points cache). While she was trying to reconfigure the output message for the module, she was forced to input a number between 1 and 99,999 in the maximum amount field. We are no longer able to leave the field blank or set the limit beyond 99,999. Is there a way to reinitialize the module so that it reverts to its default state where any input amount was allowed for the !duel command?

Question answered. It does not fix the issue. Still looped. At least it gives you the option to click "not now" though, in case you clicked don't ask/show again like I did on my old install. At least with the fresh install it asks you before just looping the update without a prompt

Staff should have the loop bug patched by the end of the day today haha, or at the very least the update rolled back until they do patch it. If you still want to use SE.Live features though you can just install it from the site, and then on the prompt click don't show again and then not now

Idk how many times normal people close and open OBS in the run of a day but I constantly do as a designer so the constant prompts would get under my skin

You can also install SE.Live, run the update, and then click don't show again and not now on the second prompt after the update is done

hello, I have a problem, I'm modding for someone, he just switched from nightbot to SE. And right now, some commands' responses are different from what I input in the SE. I've already tried deleting that particular command from the web and readded it but it is still not working. (Even when the command is not activated, we can still see the same response when triggering the command)
We've already unmod nightbot, even deleted all the commands on nightbot and nothing works.

I also can't edit or remove the command from the chat, but I can weirdly add, edit and remove another command from the chat. Have someone experienced something like this? And what can I do to fix this?

Hello, guys. I keep having the same update issue spam with SE.live and it keeps showing "Update now" every single time I open OBS and checked out "Don't ask again to let it automatically update the next time I open OBS Studio" and then it keeps closing my OBS Studio every single time I open it, which I regret clicking it and that update keeps spamming. Like why?! Is there a problem with SE.Live that keeps spamming "Same update issue"?

The problem is that I am having the same issue described by the others, I did uninstall both Live and OBS, reinstalled it, and now I have 2 instances of Live on OBS. And still have the update loop.

Make sure to restart PC after uninstalling, else you will bug out with the 2 menu buttons. I've had that before

not sure where to go to here and I'm sorry if there's another convo going on, figured I should message! Just updated Streamelements Live on OBS and now my bot is in my chat twice. Announces everything twice, etc.. I also have two "start streaming" buttons and I can't get rid of them. This is also interfering with twitch integration that cult of the lamb has. Not sure what to do and would love some feedback.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Howdy 🙂 - can someone help me - I have created a custom overlay but the "Latest Follower" label isn;t working. I've had a look and whilst Stream Elements dashboard suggests my account is connected, no data is showing (for instance my activity feed is blank and it says I have 0 followers)

  1. Channel name (old and new if changed recently)

The dashboard displays what it has gathered and since it's new, there is no data to display.

So I updated Stream Elements and it has the duplicate and it deleted all of my obs sources and scenes that I had alread y set up. Is there a way I can revert it and get them all back?

I got everything working again. The steps I took were as follows:
I didn't uninstall OBS, Just went to https://obsproject.com/ and installed OBS over the current version. This got rid of the Duplicate Buttons issue.
Uninstalled SE.Live, Restarted, then Installed the current version of SE.Live. This got rid of the Update Loop issue.
Hope this helps anyone experiencing these problems!

I updated my SE.Live and now have 2 "StreamElements" tabs at the top of my OBS. this causes 2x chat commands, timers, etc. and makes it impossible to stream because there is an un-closable browser source playing the twitch homepage at full volume. please help.

If you do not touch anything else during the install prompts, except the button "Next", all your profile data and scenes should be stored. If you are afraid of loosing them, make sure you do a backup!

If OBS for some reason doesn't open and you want to manually backup your files, open file explorer and paste this into the location bar on top: open file explorer -> %appdata%\obs-studio\basic -> copy the 2 folders there
