Hello I am trying to get back into streaming and i downloaded se.live however when i go to link my twitch it redirects me to a page with selive logo and twitch and then goes black and it doesnt sign me in. ive uninstalled and reinstalled checked file integrity and restarted my computer multiple times. does anyone have any ideas whats going on?

I had several people downlaod the mobile game that I got a sponsorship through SE, although they chose the "anonymous" option instead of logging in with Twitch. None of these credited. Only people who logged in with Twitch.

I have a similar issue, but when I reached out via a support ticket asking for an understanding as to why the goal didn't count, the campaign, which was already complete got cancelled. I followed up to ask why, and then all other offers disappeared and responses ceased.
The only note on the campaign now is "Campaign Ended before you were able to achieve its minimum goals." but everything is checked off.
Hoping for a response but it's been almost a week now and usually get a reply the same day.

Hello, I searched around a bit but couldn't quite find what I am looking for. I believe SE.Live will provide what I need in terms of multi-streaming, but prior to installing I wanted to read any documentation that is available regarding the authentication process. Since it is appears to ask for twitch/youtube credentials, I wanted to see what authentication methods are being used. Presumably it is OAuth or Oauth2, but is that documentated anywhere? I highly doubt SE is trying to phish creds, but for the sake of my paranoia I'd like to read about it somewhere.

Hi, I'm experiencing issues with command aliases. I correctly created a command (let's say !hello), !hello triggers correctly. I then used !command alias add !hello !ciao to create the alias. SE correctly reply saying the alias !ciao has been created and I can also see it in my SE dashboard, yet it won't trigger until I manually modify the alias via the dashboard itself. Any reason for it?

It's not even needed to modify the alias itself. Let's say I have !hello command and I create !alias1 via !command alias add in twitch chat. Only with this !alias1 doesn't work, but if I then create !alias2 using the SE dashboard, then suddenly !alias1 works too

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

!command remove (commandname) - allows you to delete a custom command
!command edit (commandname) (commandresponse) - allows you to edit an existing custom command
!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used

So I recently decided to try the vertical canvas thing and give it a try onto my youtube channel. Unfortunately becuase I use a gaming laptop and the cpu isn't really good, I noticed tons of stutters so I ended up closing the little dock.

Next day rolled around, I started stream, with the dock still closed and my vertical output disabled, I can still hear my media from the vertical dock going off, even tho it was closed.

Even worse, OBS treated it as if the vertical canvas was still open and caused a complete on-stream meltdown of my browser sources (it was funny actually to see the flickers and slogging). I was under the assumption closing the dock would remove it as a resource hog, but I was proven otherwise until I decided to completely delete the canvas, which did resolve the issue.

Was there a way to avoid deleting my canvas so I don't have to set it all back up again in the future?

just keep it simple use $(1) and just don't type type the @ when you shoutout. You can't strip out the @ from any streamelements command variables anyway its treated as a word text and event queryescape or pathescape will transform it into a URL friendly % variable. So, just don't type the @. propblem solved.

This is unfortunately not a solution. I type @ on twitch with the same command and it works fine, it never retypes the @ symbol. Making my mods completely type out every name they shoutout instead of just being able to @ the user in chat is extremely problematic

so I have purple flow alert which has a built in sound. I have chose other sounds through the SE dashboard on the site, and it works fully through my obs. (not through twtich for example). and yet, even though I uploaded specific sounds, that I adjusted the volume to, (and that volume works fine), I still get the old alert on stream. meaning the old alert isn't deleted and it still operates. How do I fix this issue so I will only have my dedicated alerts, makeing the old one vanish or even deleted?

You may have to ask them. The official alerts can have variations that you have to edit in addition to the default alert. I have no idea how your friend set it up.

I didn't have an agency and I got a stream key on tiktok on multiple accounts through various methods. SE multi registration form/link | ReStream registration form/link which is alot more reliable then SE's form | and then my normal account just had it enabled. Watch Nutty's yt vids on it, he found a few methods.

for Kick you will need to talk with their dev team & make a request to update their API then SE team can update their stuff as well. Twitch already made those changes as $(user.name $(1)) is what I use to strip the @ in my caster shoutout commands.

some custom alerts you would need to update the alert sound in the settings (DATA) fields next to the JS/CSS tabs. The standard SE overlay alerts you can do variations based on (Exact amounts, Min value & above ect or in Fourthwalls case negative numbers to trigger different kinds of alerts)

I had the same problem with TikTok starting on January 1st. I changed the plugin and the issue was still there. Today, I enabled the +18 option for all my content in my profile, and instead of 20–30 minutes, I was able to stream for almost 3 hours without any problems.

The path is:
Settings and Privacy → Limit viewers → +18 content

since I started using the StreamElements SE.Live OBS Extension, I am experiencing two serious issues in OBS.

Issue 1 – Permanent audio sources in the Audio Mixer

In the OBS Audio Mixer, two audio sources are permanently displayed in all scenes, even though these two sources exist only in a single scene each as actual sources.
In all other scenes, they are not added as sources, yet they still appear in the Audio Mixer and are also audible in those scenes.

Before using the StreamElements Extension, this behavior did not occur.
Audio sources were only visible and audible in the scenes where they were actually added as sources.

Issue 2 – Primary Output forces the wrong canvas

When multistreaming, one platform is always set as the “Primary Output” (for example Twitch or another platform).
As a result, the platform-specific canvas configured for that platform is ignored and cannot be activated.

Instead, the Primary Output canvas is always used.
This causes the main scene to be displayed incorrectly, and individual sources or elements are missing entirely.
Under these conditions, proper livestreaming is not possible.

A blank/empty Primary Output is not possible, as a server must exist and perform a handshake (the server must be reachable and able to exchange data).

I managed to get it working. I use chrome, to the left of the address bar is a button, looks like 3 lines like an old graphic equaliser. Press it brings up a box. At the top there a toggle switch, allow access local network or something. It was toggled to off, so I turned it on and the Web page for authorisation loaded. I just downloaded OBS and the SE.Live. However, even though I set up the SE.Live, the multistreaming dock is not there. I made sure to be logged into Twitch, but I am doing this to be able to stream on Tiktok. Also, everytime I close and re-open OBS I am logged back out of twitch and prompted to log back in. Yo. I'm trying to setup alerts by using an alert box in in the Elements section. Everything seems to work fine, even tho for some reason the audio stopped playing on my end, I can't hear it myself, but it seems to be picked up by OBS, I don't know how to fix this. My main issue is that I noticed when previewing the alerts in the overlays for Starting Soon and BRB, it plays a second basic alert with the base image, sound and message on top of the custom one I made, and it also spams A LOT of 7TV emotes for no reason. Is there a way to at least stop the emote spam??

I’m having an issue with StreamElements login that I can’t resolve.

When I try to connect my account (both Twitch and YouTube), the browser opens the authentication page, but the page remains completely black and never loads. Because of this, I’m unable to log in or authorize StreamElements.

What I’ve already tried:

• Different browsers (Chrome and Edge)
• Opening the login link manually
• Disabling extensions and ad blockers
• Trying from another device (including mobile)
• Different networks (Wi-Fi and mobile data)

The issue happens every time and with both Twitch and YouTube login, so it doesn’t seem platform-specific.

Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows a fix?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello Everyone! I've been recently Multistreaming with no issue at all. until a few days ago when it came to going live on YouTube Vertical and Fullscreen. My Fullscreen (1920x1080) goes live great with no issues but my vertical format goes into a scheduled mode, from here I'm unable to get my vertical stream to go live, I've tried assigning a different stream key named vertical and my Fullscreen assigned to Default stream key on the youtube dashboard and this still doesnt fix my issue. As far as I know SE.Live uses the OBS native virtual camera so it's tied to the horizontal canvas.

If you wanna stream in vertical you'll have to use another plugin like aitum stream suite so you can create a custom virtual camera tied to the vertical canvas to use for TikTok

If you wanna stream only horizontal both YouTube and TikTok then it's easier and can be done using the SE.Live plugin. Search up a tutorial on yt it's quicker than me explaining

Is there any specific reason why my stream elements wont connect to my Obs? I downloaded the SE.Live and set it up but when I hit connect with twitch in OBS it brings up Microsoft Edge and just sits on a blank screen . I have finally decided to try and tackle getting Youtube streaming to work with the Multi Stream tool and all, so I wanted to just clear the list within the Dock cause it has two Youtube ones I had tried using before. Discoered I had to request "permission" and wait 24 hours to get live streaming available to me. Now that thats done I am eager to figure this out.

Heres my problem though, when I initially connected it a while back it made two different Youtube connections in the list. Dont know if this is normal, but it never worked, and I have since changed the structure of my Youtube account and need to start fresh, but I can't delete them from the list within the Multi Streaming Dock. The Delete button is greyed out, and I tried just adding my new one to see if it would allow me to delete the other one, and it made two versions of the new one too, so now I have four Youtube connections I cannot delete for some reason, not to mention a Kick connection I am more than willing to remove as well, but can't.

Hey, so I'm a moderator for a streamer and I'm trying to setup the Media Request.. I feel like all my settings are right, but when I have a song queued up, I can't see the play button to start it from the website, so I tried downloading the OBS plugin. Problem there is that it's not my Twitch account, so when I logged into StreamElements on SE.Live, it shows the Media Request for my channel and not the channel that I'm moderating

Any way to see the channel I'm moderating for's Media Request in the SE.Live dock?

I see that it knows I'm a moderator of that channel in the "Elements Control Center" tab, because I can simulate things on that channel

A few days ago after the update, my activity feed and chat docks changed and I was able to see my activity, stream info and change it, and I could see my stream preview as if I were on the twitch stream manager. well i tried to stream on kick... but the kick stream instantly crashes and goes straight to reconnect loop... i even gave kick another encoder like Twitch and youtube with nvidia Hvenc and kick with x264 (My CPU can handle that) and i made a new canvas in 1080p für kick but still this problem...

i'm not streaming on kick so i cannot tell you if it's something related about kick platform, but i may suggest to do not separate the encodings, it uses more resources and that may be the problem.
You may try a one by one stream start and check if GPU or CPU got peaks.
Anyway i may suggest try to keep same resolution for each platform, that may help too.
Considering the stream quality (use a bitrate even a little bit more higher than the twitch limit, it works) you may try set everything to 1080p

Try switching your primary browser while connecting (sometimes it doesn't allow it because of the primary account).

You can go to your PC settings and change the browser to another one (preferably Google) while it's connecting, then change it back to what it was.

During my last stream I gained around 11 subscribers, but only 2 alerts were displayed. What could be causing this problem?
