After uninstalling everything about SE.LIVE and OBS for libcef.dll issues as asked by the tech help, the problem is stil occurring.
I cannot be able to bypass che crash on close of OBS.
And now it is getting worse. Alerts and Store redeem events are bugged, they are not popping up in the time of trigger during live, they pop up like lot of time after. The browser source seems bugged, even trying to clear the cache doesn't work. It's getting frustrating as i cannot hear follows or other sound alerts by commands.
Does anyone have a real solution to this problem?

Never mind, I fixed the crashing on exit by disabling hardware acceleration on browser sources in the settings. Only took me half a day to figure that out, ffs. Hope this helps anyone else with this particular issue.

Is it placed in a group? I have had similar issues after a particular OBS update where sources would get cut off like that, and the fix was to drag the sources out of the group, reset transform if needed and put it into a new group.

Hmm, resetting after an alert is incredibly odd behaviour. Do you have custom CSS or something applied to the alert that might be reverting to a wrong state?

For libcef.dll, you'll need a ticket. For alerts, what's your channel name? No links.

I have tried running it in 1080 which is the canvas size of the window and at 720 which it is in that picture and no matter what size I set it to I save it does it correctly and is centred the first time i run it and the second time it goes back to being off centre

Hi, I have a problem with SE media request not working on my cloud OBS, while it works on my home OBS. Both OBS shares the same overlay (ie stream overlay, alerts, media request). The stream overlay and alerts works perfectly on both.

Even if I separate out the media request into a different overlay, it still will only work on my home OBS.

I’ve also checked both OBS settings to ensure they are similar. Any solution? Thanks in advance!

3080 only has 8 gigs of vram, why i went with the 3060, has 12, its likely a vram bottleneck and will effect you more or less depending on the game your playing, but do yourself a favor and turn your bitrate down to about 6500. what game were you playing? and is your graphics card set to encode or your processor (are you using nvenc or h.26x)

I also have very good internet (also 1g/1g fiber) sometimes the handshake between hardware gets screwed up, so id keep an eye on the performance tab of task manager when multistreaming, thats the tool ive found to be most useful in identifying why stuff isnt working as expected.

you wont if its an error between your modem and your pc (happens to me every time my modem gets an update that does a half restart, sends data but locked well under 1g till i refresh the connection) It could have also been an issue between you and your closest youtube ingest server and it didnt properly do a handoff. plus like all of asias internet went down the other day which I understand is still being brought back online which for a multinational company like google could significantly change network traffic behavior on a non-essential service like youtube.

Okay question for y'all. I got a TikTok stream key through SE.live. and whenever I set my primary canvas as vertical tiktok and start streaming, it changes to a horizontal tiktok canvas that wasn't there before as primary even though the tiktok live feed looks good and is vertical but it basically shows that I'm always disconnecting because there is no horizontal tiktok. It also says on the vertical tiktok that I'm ineligble when I'm not when set as primary. Anyone else experience?

1 - Since last update of SE.live I suffer of the bad closing of OBS who ask to start normally or safe mode next time. I'm using last version of OBS (31.1.2). Is dev team aware of this and a date for a correction defined ?

2 - And most important : I can't use SE.live anymore.
My OBS use of RAM take so much RAM when SE.live is installed (CPU too)
Whitout SE.live : something between 1.7 to 2Go
=> With SE/live : something like 8Go
=> Then using plugin dock to create/adjust canvas or just navigate in => I get higher and higher RAM usage to finally reach 100% of RAM (of 32Go !)
And when I try to launch my TikTok stream (in addition of the main Twitch) and the window for configuring and launching it, it use an unbelievable amount of RAM. Using SE.live become impossible.
What can I give to you in order to analyze and know where is the problem 🙁 ?

Hi, I’m having an issue with SE.Live and OBS.
When I switch scenes in the SE.Live plugin, the scene changes correctly in OBS.
But when I switch scenes directly in OBS, the plugin doesn’t update — it still shows the old scene.

Is there any way to make the scenes sync both ways (OBS ↔ SE.Live)? Or is this a known limitation/bug?

I upgraded to Windows 11 and, from what I can see, I'm having a fairly common problem with the "Unclean shutdown detected!" error. It seems to be related to "libcef.dll." Every time I launch the application, I get a message that OBS didn't shut down properly and it asks if I should run it in Safe Mode. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

I can livestream to TikTok with OBS, but when I try to add the TikTok chat through StreamElements docks, it keeps getting this message, that I need TikTok live acces to stream/read chat.

But I have this acces when I try to hit apply, and if I refresh nothing happens, I still get the same notification.

Got a question with transitions. When I activate use the transition from the main canvas for my vertical canvas, I have noticed that the vertical canvas transition will play after the transition of the main canvas is there anyway to sync both of those so they play at the same time?

I just made a ticket at tiktok and they say there is no restriction. Everytime i refresh the streamelement connection keeps saying i'm restricted. I tried restarting, re adding, reconnecting. Everything is up to date latest versions. Restarting the whole pc just in case. Nothing seems to work. Can't find any videos or reddit posts online with a solution.

The only thing left for me is to wait 6 days to apply again. But i don't want to wait this long since i had a special pokemon stream planned. And tiktok said there is nothing they can see. So is this a problem on streamelements side?

While I’m multistreaming to twitch and TikTok I have all my stuff set up properly but I keep getting the encoder overload error on obs. I’ve lowered bit rates for both twitch and TikTok to 2000 but it’s still giving the error. The only stream that keeps messing up is the TikTok one it freezes and get real choppy

I’m a little confused of what the individual components are for and do.

There seems to be se.live which seem to be an OBS plugin. Then there is the online dashboard. And then there is ground control.
Am I supposed to use all three? Does one replace the other?

I should add, I’m new to streaming, have just done a couple streams using OBS and to Twitch.

I like the idea of multi streaming to YT as well and also to have chat bots and eventually tios once I get that 100 followers threshold

They do have new rules. It has to be 50% gaming content. Just chatting is allowed though. In my case i was streaming with another software before so i made the mark easy. But i made a little mistake with streamelements and i guess due to those tech issues i now have to wait 6 days with streamelements while i can stream on tiktok with any other software out there. What i find strange is that tiktok (i put in a ticket) can't find anything. And i can't appeal. And it's only with streamelements.

I figured it out by watching youtube videos that was about OBS with the streamelements live plugin. It is easy to set up. I only had my vertical settings wrong. But there was a youtube vid about that too. I don't think i use the others so i don't think you need it. But i'm not that well known with the plugin yet.

TEB (Twitch Enhanced Boradcasting) which sets the options the viewers get without anything decisions by you.

Transcoding which isn't guarunteed unless you're partner or higher viewer affiliate.

Im assuming that youre using multistream. If youre getting a duplicate output your issue is that you have both the first and second switch on. If that is the case then youre duplicating the output.

OBS outputs first then Stream elements gets out second. So you need to disable the twitch 2nd output so that it does NOT have a red circle next to it when youre live

I tried Nightbot today just to check it out.

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to show the user's display name when doing shout out? Currently I have this partial message in the shoutout command Go check out $(user) . For example I want to shout out a user with a Twitch username "sanpk", and display name "SANPK". When I uses command!so sanpk, I want the message to show as Go check out SANPK instead of the lowercase username Go check out sanpk.

I sometimes would use the @ sign to get the username quickly, however some of my viewers have a Chinese display name so I have to manually type in their username to do a shoutout, since shouting out a Chinese user display name would not work.

Does anyone else have an issue where their overlay just...changes to different or older settings randomly? I tend to swap between Soulframe and Warframe/Palia, and I have different IGN's I list. What I've noticed is that sometimes my settings swap between giving new/updated details to old details (such as previous promotions and news updates from static text).

I've also been having issues where my notfications will only sometimes trigger, but not always, which was why I ended up moving to the Twitch alerts for everything. It's been driving me a little crazy though.

Mine did the same. I actually had to relog into Tiktok a few times before it registered I was me. It's annoying but you may need to wait. The access technically shouldn't expire though. At least, I don't see it on my end for expiration (anymore). Is it possible it's a follower limit?

Hi, I'm asking last time here before I completely remove SE stuff because not working properly.

I'm facing problems with ELEMENTS->ALERTS being shutted down and not working during lives and during multiple daily tests.
after days and days within an useless ticket, now the problem seems to be the redeems commands.

Before doing any !redeem <command> , the alerts will work. After any redeem alerts stop working and i have to reload the source ( or switching scene )

• I've also tried to keep another SW ( meld studio ) opened during obs and alerts stops there too after the redeem command
• i've also tried to keep the alerts URL on a browser (firefox) after the redeem command

Other sources like SoundAlerts are working perfectly.
If anyone has faced the same problem and found a solution, please, reply to this message. Otherwise, i suppose i'll totally remove SE from my env and that's sad cause i've been using it for quite long now.

I would just reinstall OBS studio to the previous version. I was having so many issues with my plug-ins since the update yesterday. From Stream Up to Elgato stream deck plugins- none of them work with the newest update. Rollback and everything works again. My biggest issue is that im still getting the "too many requests" window in the obs dock for SE.. so it's a dual problem imo.

The rollback on OBS did not fix this issue. I just re-tested. This is an issue I think with SE and the authentication token. The only way I can get around this is to manually log out/in from OBS and it restores the connection.

Unlike twitch where alerts should be automatic YouTube is going to be delayed assuming the user has them set to public.

there's the !watchtime command, if is that what you need, you can pick that command and create a custom one within the !hello command

Hi there! I wanted to reach out to see if I could get someone to help troubleshoot an issue that my team and I had while using stream elements "Media Request." My supervisor behind the scenes, remote, was not able to preview the selection of the video that was donated to be played on stream through the accept/deny feature. This completely removes the factor/purpose of reviewing media before displaying it live on stream. I tried it on multiple browsers and found no solutions.

Can I get any devs to check this out?

It is not an OBS issue lol, it is when I am directly accepting/declining videos on the backend through their website.

You cannot access that through OBS.

The feature works, media shows. That's not the problem. It is the fact that I cannot preview the specific duration of the video that someone donated to be played on stream.

Therefore, I am blindly approving videos to be played without being able to preview them.

well it's not cutting them, it's downscaling and leaving those parts blank

Im having trouble applying for tiktok live access with streamelements. My access got revoked at some point and now i cant re apply because I changed my twitch username (twitch is needed as proof of main platform of streaming) and tiktok wont let me submit an entire new form, it just keeps reapplying with the old form which had my old twitch username. Hello I'm having issues getting my TTS to work through alerts. It was working yesterday when I initially set it up, but by the time i started streaming it no longer worked. I tried to fix it but it no longer worked at all. The only way I can hear the TTS is through simulating the alert and even then I can only hear it in the chrome tab. I have tried turning off my ad blocker, clearing browsing data, resetting the link in OBS, created new TTS alerts and nothing has worked. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

i started having issues today regarding my multistreaming. Its telling me everytime i try to stream that my Youtube api failed to load and the stream fails to start - i've gone in and reset my stream keys, ive tried creating a new stream key... tried recreating my youtube connection in mulistream...

but everything i've tried, when i hit start streaming - i get the pop up to log into youtube - i log in... it says successful connection with the shaking hands... then tells me the api fails to load.

Any help would be appreciated as i've not had any issues with this until today - and everything i've tried has failed.

So I have done two streams on YouTube now using the multistream function, but both times the quality on YouTube has looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse. The first time I multistreamed, I didn't change any settings and just let it default stream to YouTube assuming it would just use my Twitch settings. The bitrate looked incredibly low. Yesterday I set the bitrate of the YouTube stream to literally 20,000, and I don't feel like it looked any different at all. Does anyone know why this may be?

Also to be clear, my pc specs should be able to handle multistreaming just fine and my internet is 1g up and 1g down.

Just recently updated to an entirely different machine. Fully fresh installs, same error as always. Can't figure it out. Now I'm not able to push any multistreaming out fails everytime. Had to disable it so I could at least go live on Twitch in the meantime. SE seems to have bitten off more then it could chew. Now it's services are so hit or miss. Bot goes down every other week, multistreaming issues and errors. Little to no real responses here or on submitted tickets. They now lock features behind the sponsorship program so you don't even get the same SE you used to unless you enter contracts. Having used SE for so long I'm getting worried honestly. Never seen it so bad.

This might be a simple thing that I'm just overlooking, but if I in the Vertical Canvas Settings I " enable backtrack (replay buffer) while streaming " it will only save in MKV format and not MP4 which is what I would prefer. I tried changing Output Mode from Simple to Advanced and changed the recording format from MKV to MPEG but in Advanced Mode it does not does actually save the backtrack files.

Hey I've been looking into finding a way to stop my bot messages from showing up in Shared Chats, if possible. I know that App Access Token Chatbots can set something like from_source_only=true and that means that the message will ONLY be seen by those in the source channel's chat. hello, i am having some odd issues with the alert sounds. when i started messing with it, i heard a sound, cool. but after publishing it to my OBS i no longer hear the sound.

also the alert doesn't show up on my OBS either. the most recent follower and other things are working fine. but no sounds or alerts

Im on the latest version of Se.Live, im going to try downgrading obs because when I updated to the latest version it stopped working, anyone else having this problem?

I downgraded to an old version then installed se.live again, the installer updated my obs to the latest compatible version, works now 😄

streamelements subathon timer is super buggy for me - not counting a lot of the subs that im getting? any help?

when someone gifts it'll count some and now during subtember, it won't count the bonus subs that valorant adds

have you tried downgrading, the se.live plugin was bugging for me on the latest version of obs

I've created an alert box overlay for my yt streams and the membership alerts work perfect but the superchats pop up for a millesecond then instantly dissapear. They duration is set to 10 seconds and all of that so idk why it isn't working. If you can help me, please reply to this with a ping. Thanks! 🙂
