It's not going to change the story in the long run, You need to pay for the bundles instead of item collection.
The biggest difference is the "reward" at the end.
||For CC, you get a trophy, and some villagers schedules will have them go to the CC every so often||

Cranberries drop 2 cranberries each, and would give us 21,780g each harvest with tiller, at 5 harvests that is 108,900, with seeds you'd gain a total of 84,900g, if we take that 10% chance of an extra one we can assume 10 extra, so that's an extra 750~g

Pumpkins would give us 46,464g each harvest, at 2 harvests that would give us 92,928g, minus the seed cost that would get us a total of 82,928

If nothing is processed, Cranberries pull out ahead, but when you start processing pumpkins, that will make a major difference REALLY quickly
