yeah i progressed really quick on that farm, i run that save like the navy LOL. i stockpiled the supplies and got the good money crops early, some slight minmaxxing but not really. just a lot of organization and careful spending. sometimes my animals eat the grass really fast because i have a lot now but im at a point where the cost of grass from pierre is kinda just pocket change so it doesnt matter

Good luck days are pretty important for mining since you can clear them faster

Otherwise I go fishing for as much money for the Strawberries

Afterwards I am getting like 1k gold from the preserve jars or whatever I have and just go for the mines. If my run sucks then I just do maintenance

yeah, i used my good luck days early on for mining and fishing occasionally. in early game i usually would just fish on any day that wasnt super bad or super good luck. now i mostly use good luck for SC tbh, but i have a set schedule i follow in my main save. i have a stockpile of strawberries now so i dont have to worry about the grind for them in spring, but early game its definitely super important

Train can be good. If you're on the farm or in the mountains it's worth seeing what drops, but trains arent held up by pausing/being menu and if you can't make it up there quickly it's possible you'll only make it on the trail end/miss it entirely & I believe it only drops stuff if you're in the train area as it goes by

Although pigs don't exactly give truffles. They find them in the ground (spawn them basically) and it counts as forage (technically) so the quality and quantity is affected by your foraging skills. Super incredible

But I have tried 3 times now so 7 days x 3 to get the Electoplasm for the quest "A curious substance" and have slayed like 100+ ghosts but havent recieved it, any tips if there is a specific level or a specific weapon you need to use, would be much appreciated.
