there is no specific fight pattern, sometimes u can catch legend easily and sometimes its impossible without enough fishing equipment/lvl, it's different every cast but the behavior and general difficulty rating is the same

Oh I got kind of good at one point at noticing fish patterns I also at one point got good at knowing most of the villagers schedules by heart

yes and they dont switch between their designated pattern, except for a few that will switch between two.

a boss pattern in most games would be an attack combo that they always perform in a specific order, like if the legend always remained still after moving down, then up, but thats not certain ever with sdv fish
