Lowkey other than the alcohol, I relate to Shane a lot… I think that’s also why I like him so much he reminds me of myself. Not entirely ofc. I think I have a naturally more positive attitude (I haven’t experienced what he’s experienced to), but it’s the stuff like feeling like life is a cycle of soulless retail work and sleep and doing what you can when you’re awake to avoid the heaviness you feel emotionally. And the realizing it’s causing too much harm to be feeling like everything is happening to you when you have the ability to like, make some choices to improve your life. And the balance between like, knowing these things need done and feeling like there’s no point and working on doing them anyway bc they do actually help and it’s okay to seek help
