You get a star drop at enough hearts, and the spouse will occasionally do chores (water crops, feed animals, fix fences) and give you food in the morning

And food is well covered already as it is

Whatever [SPOILERED THING] is, so long as it's not important I feel like I can get enough Stardrops to not notice the difference

I just do well at events and give them gifts for birthdays only, chat with ppl when I run into them, I don't gift anything outside of birthdays.. giving a loved gift for a birthday seems to give massive amounts of friendship tho
