I was told not to do this route because it doesn't react the same within your body. You are supposed to have salt, then follow it with a specific amount of regular water.

The salt helps your body retain water, lessening POTS symptoms. So by mixing it together, it's less affective and probably less enjoyable than it already is.

My parents were really confused when I was a kid because I would sneakily eat piles of salt. But once I got my diagnoses it all made sense. I wasn't symptomatic then, but in 2019 was the first time I remember passing out.

My mother and sister had migraines and I have em too, less frequent but when I got them they are worse.

I got official diagnosis in 2023 but had symptoms since 2021. My first primary tunnelvisioned on my migraines and said it was all due to that. Second primary and neurologist both basically went “nah it’s POTS.”
