Cheese is a very solid food source, but otherwise sell.
Mayonnaise you just sell immediately.
For extra minerals, I do recommend hoarding atleast x1 of Basalt and Marble.

Technically you can increase the quality for cheese for extra profits, but generally not something I'd recommend outside of niche scenarios.

With the basic rod you're basically only gonna catch trash. Fish are much more pentiful off the farm typically.

Try to complete the bug killer goal asap to get the Insect head, that will take you through the mines with ease
