1. Bombs. In areas withh lots of stones bombs help clear them out, revealing ladders/holes faster

2. Speed + Luck. These are the only two buffs that actually help (mining helps with energy but you’ll very likely lose health faster than energy. Defense is unnecessary if properly fooded up). I recommend Spicy Eel for both

3. Stairs in case you reach some annoying floor (spiral, monster, etc)

4. Warp totem so you can start at 6AM (Note: Passing out at 2AM is only 1000g, so it’s also wise to stay until 2AM)

5. Go on a good luck day, and have your camera zoomed fully out (easier to see stairs/holes)
